Nisihof, Abendblick

This is a surprising gem of a place to stay. It's a farmhouse that now offers an "alternative" type of accommodation with just a few rooms which are simple but comfortable. The highlight is the warm and charming atmosphere created by owner Monika with help from her son Peter. You hang out in the backyard with them. Monika made a wonderful vegetable soup for dinner and homemade Bircher muesli for breakfast (with a vegan option). The lake is nearby and there are some lovely walks through the woods. If you are looking for five star comfort or en suite bathrooms (guests have to share two bathrooms), this is not the place for you. But if you want a heart-warming Swiss rural experience, it's gorgeous.

Es ist ein besonderer Ort mit vielen kreativen Details und verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen und Geniessen. Die Unterkunft wird mit viel Herzblut geführt und wir hatten einen sehr netten Austausch mit den Gastgebern. Sie sind äusserst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein Plus ist zudem, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, Sauna, Infrarot-Sauna und Jacuzzi vor Ort zu buchen. Die Anlage befindet sich mitten im Grünen, umgeben von einer Golfanlage. Es lohnt sich, wenn man Fahrräder hat. Der Sempachersee ist mit Fahrrädern bequem zu erreichen.

Bei offenem Fenster hört man nachts/morgens etwas den Strassenverkehr von der angrenzenden Strasse. Uns hat es jedoch nicht weiter gestört.

Sehr ruhig, sehr angenehme atmosphäre. Gute gastgeber.

Nur eine dusche, nur ein wc auf der zimmer-ebene.

Unieke plek. Buiten veel plekken om te relaxen. Ontbijt was voor de prijs goed verzorgd. Leuke hosts, erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig. Heel goed bereikbaar met de auto.

Wij hadden bij het boeken niet in de gaten dat de badkamer gedeeld is. Het was even wennen om je schoenen uit te moeten doen bij binnenkomst.

Viel Möglichkeiten zum Sitzen, sich Entspannen und die Ruhe zu geneiessen.

Das Frühstück für 15.- fand ich (Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis) etwas übertrieben, da es nicht viel Auswahlmöglichkeiten gab und sehr schlicht gebaut war. Verbesserungsmöglichkeit: warmes Essen anbieten, wie z.B. Rühreier oder Hotdogs, warme Milch und nicht nur eine kalte Platte und Birchermüesli.

Nette Gastgeber, schöne Umgebung, gutes Frühstück, gemütlich eingerichteter Hof.

Wel krakende vloeren en gemeenschappelijke toilet en badkamer. ….maar dit viel eigenlijk zeer goed mee👍

L'accueil, la gentillesse de Peter et Monica. La possibilité d'utiliser la salle à manger et la terrasse. C'était juste très bien pour nous nous sommes sentis Bien!

Monika est très très sympathique

Ausgesprochen wunderschön gestaltete Umgebung in der reinsten Natur. Liebevoll hergerichtete Plätze. Kurz gesagt: Ein kleines Paradies! Die Betreibenden dieses Hauses verdienen ein sehr grosses Lob für Ihr Schaffen. Sehr nette Menschen mit Verständnis für alles Rundum, sie wissen, was es bedeutet und wovon sie sprechen. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, der Nisihof!

Schön wäre, wenn es sanitäre Anlagen im Zimmer hätte, ist aber von den gegebenen Umständen nicht möglich. Aber man kann sich auch so arrangieren.

L'emplacement, la sérénité et le calme. L'accueil était très bien et le personnel bienveillant et à l'écoute.

Vom ersten Moment an fühlte ich mich wohl und bestens aufgehoben. Die Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert, die Gastgeber sind freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Mir sind keine negativen Sachen aufgefallen.

ce n'est pas la faute à Nisihof mais Booking.com traduit Mal en français et écrit qu'il y a un spa bath dans les chambres alors qu'il y a une salle de bain Commune à l'étage pour plusieurs chambres! en Allemand c'est correctement décrit mais pas en français!! le parquet est en bois et grince un peu la nuit quand on marche dessus....

Mal was anderes. Der Nisihof ist ein alternatives lokales Zentrum , freundlich von der Familie geführt und unkompliziert. Wir durften im Seminarraum morgens Yoga praktizieren, das war schön!

Leckeres Frühstück, entspannte Umgebung, lockere und gemütliche Atmosphäre, gepflegte Anlage, symphatisches Personal, alles ganz unbeschwert. Gerne wieder, perfekt zum loslassen und entspannen.

Communal vibe and the relaxing atmosphere.

Wonderful place if you are looking for a break from the busy life ! You feel welcome and the owners of the hotel are so friendly , it´s just amazing .

Breakfast was good and the people are friendly. Its in peaceful environment with Hammocks and a beautiful garden. Sometimes dance and yoga. A golf course runs next to the land.

Peaceful location, but too much rain!

I had not realised on booking that this was an Air’b’Nb and that we had no en suite facilities.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nisihof! Peter made us feel at home from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. You can tell that his heart and soul is in Nisihof, as well as everyone else’s involved. The bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, corridors etc. were all very clean and everything is thoughtfully arranged and put together. The atmosphere is great, too, very relaxed, with the possibility to spend some quiet time there as well as chat to the other guests. And there’s so much space, which we appreciated hugely with an 18 month old who loves exploring the environment. We had some lovely moments jumping on the trampoline, chilling on the swing … A great place for children and adults alike. We had dinner and breakfast there, both were carefully prepared for us and very tasty. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer but will definitely be back. Very happy to have discovered this gem!
