Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel sur place a été vraiment très gentil, accueillant et attentionné. La chambre était très propre et agréable.

Beautiful view, comfortable accommodations, and very attentive staff. I reached out for help after hours and was immediately taken care of. Great recommendations for places to see and experience in the area.

We were in the one room that still needs the upgrade to black out curtains. I was told they are on their way. It was not a big deal.

Rooms were clean and the decor was modern and lovely. The bathroom was pristine. Breakfast was great!

There was a clinking sound when a neighboring room used the shower, but it only lasted as long as the shower

Keine Kochmöglichkeit, aber auch kein Lokal in unmittelbarer Nähe. Relativ nahe an einer Durchzugsstraße, was der Ruhe etwas abträglich ist.

Schade ist dass man ein Stück fahren muss zum essen…Aber es gibt ein kleines Cafe und leckere Restaurants in ca.12 km Entfernung. Wir haben lecker gegessen.

Digitaler Check-in einfach und gut kommuniziert, aber uns zu unpersönlich. Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet.

Auf einem Trip durch Nova Scotia haben wir in diesem Motel übernachtet. Die View auf die Einbuchtung des Atlantik ist grandios. Es herscht absolute Ruhe. Für eine Nacht ein absolut empfehlenswertes Erlebnis.

Efficient check-in with email of lock combo. Room and bed were good, but the "beach" was disappointing, and neighbors were too loud to enjoy sitting on our porch. No food within walking distance or breakfast available. However, the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

Sehr helles, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Hübsche Lage mit Meeresblick. Großzügige Umgebung mit Grillplatz, Meetingraum etc.

This motel was fantastic. We were only there for 1 night and didn't arrive until the evening, but it was a great place to rest our head. It felt modern, quirky and clean, the amenities were great. Loved the addition of a balcony with fabulous views of the water, as well as the cute swing. The bathroom was really lovely, and the beds comfy. Very quick response to my message when we arrived. Overall a great stay and would 100% recommend.

We loved the decor and modern update to the room and bathroom. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were amazing! Love the view!

The hot tub location could use a little work. It would be nice to see the ocean while in the hot tub.

Room was comfortable and modern. Contactless key entry was convenient .

We picked this hotel mainly for the additional facilities - my husband and son were keen to fish off the jetty but this was closed off as seemingly needed repairs to make it safe. Also the hot tub was pictured having views of the sea but it’s actually located at the edge of the motel surrounded by timber fencing - not the relaxing views we were expecting. Light sleepers also be aware as the curtains in our room were white so although provided privacy, did little to keep out the sunlight.

Die neun Zimmer sind alle neu renoviert. Es sind übliche Motelzimmer mit guten Betten und guten Schallschutz zum Nachbarn. Die Lage ist OK mit schöner Aussicht auf´s Meer. Was man wissen muss und uns durchaus bewusst war: Es gibt kein Frühstück und der Zugang ist kontaktlos (deshalb keine Bewertung für´s Personal). Zimmernummer und Türcode werden über die Seite von booking übermittelt. Wenn sie das erst vor Ort abfragen, brauchen sie einen Netzzugang. Bei der Abreise war der (vermutlich) Besitzer an der Rezeption. Ein freundliches "Auf Wiedersehn" und "Gute Reise" haben wird dann doch noch bekommen. 😊 Die Gegend ist noch nicht so touristisch erschlossen wie andere Hotspots in Nova Scotia. Als eher ruhig mit viel Natur.

Infrastruktur für Touristen ist in unmittelbarer Umbegbung nicht vorhanden. Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Im Marmalade Cafe in ca. 12 Minuten Fahrdistanz, das mit dem Motel verbunden scheint, gibts ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Auch fürs nächste Restaurant ist mit ca 12-15 Miuten Fahrzeit zu rechnen. Wenn´s nur irgenwo auf dem weitläufigen Gelände ein Plätzchen für Raucher gäbe, wäre das vielleicht ganz nett. So liegen die Zigarettenstummel eben vor der Tür im Kies. (Anm: ich bin Nichtraucher).

It was really warm in the room when we got there. But the host was there in short order with a fan, saved our night.

The Marmalade has really done a lot to make, what could be a humble motel, a special stay. The hot tub was great, views from the balcony wonderful, the overall atmosphere was peaceful. We loved the decor of the No Drama Llama!

Guests should know there is nothing within walking distance in terms of food. The Marmalade Cafe is actually in Sheet Harbour which is a 10 - 15 minute drive. if you don't want to go back out for dinner and drive into the next town, it's a good idea to bring something to enjoy on the balcony. There is a fridge and amenities so making a casual dinner or grabbing take in gives you more time to enjoy the view.

The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again.

There was a coffee maker in the room with coffee pods snd tea bags but no other supplies. The necessities to make a sandwich or toast a bagel would have been helpful.

Check in was seamless! Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless & comfortable!! We enjoyed sitting outside and walking the property to the water. We enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant and the locals were friendly and spoke well of the hotel owners. We never met them, but commend them on a beautifully ran business. We’d definitely stay again whenever in the area!

Das Marmelade Motel ist ein ganz besonderer Ort – mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und einer Atmosphäre, die sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist traumhaft schön, perfekt zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Die Zimmer sind individuell, stilvoll und mit viel Charme eingerichtet – man merkt einfach, dass hier Herzblut drinsteckt. Das Gastgeberteam ist unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert – man fühlt sich eher wie bei Freunden als in einem Hotel. Ich kann das Marmelade Motel absolut weiterempfehlen – wer Ruhe, Natur und liebevolle Gastfreundschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

It was not as good as the photos suggested. The dick was unusable. The hot tub behind a fence
