Imsouane surf house

The location is good and the view from the roof is nice. Breakfast is ok, a bit minimalistic.

I stayed in the dorm and no lock anywhere. Just one shower working, no lock on the toilet and no toilet paper. They rent towels for 30 dirhams, which is a bit of a scam. I gave money through a friend as no one was there and they tell me I didn’t. They moved my stuff because I was 10 minutes late for checkout

Comme toujours, le staff, notamment Abdellah et Youssef, est vraiment à la hauteur. Ils font un excellent travail et sont toujours accueillants, disponibles et professionnels. Les dortoirs sont toujours aussi confortables et très propres. L’emplacement est tout simplement magnifique. Une excellente expérience, comme à chaque fois. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

The night of arrival the staff was not really friendly and focus mostly on making sure that we read the house rules and if we did not respect them they could kick us out. Once we got in the room we found out that the sofa bed was broken (the sofa bed did not open properly) and dirty (found a dirty sock in the sofa and it was full of food crumbs. We went to raise the issue to the staff at reception and found out that the person overseeing the facility was a young boy (13-14 years or age maybe). He called his supervisor who kept on asking the list of the things that were not going well before he decided to come over. We asked to find us another room or to clean it but neither of those things were possible. Actually the supervisor kept on claiming that the room was clean. The day after no follow up from the staff to ask how things were and if they could make it up in some way. In addition we asked to have a refill of the bathroom soap as we had a dispenser full of water instead of soap. They gave us a refill just to find out that it was soap for dishwashing and not for the body. All in all the property claims to be chill and cool, but this should not mean being careless and negligent.

L'ostello è in una posizione ottima, a due passi dal mare, un minimarket dietro l'ostello e vari ristoranti. Era tutto pulito e sistemato, dagli spazi comuni alle stanze. La terrazza è magnifica con una vista spettacolare sul mare. I letti sono molto comodi, ogni postazione ha un mobiletto dove riporre le cose.

Il bagno si trova all'interno del dormitorio. La stanza è mista quindi non è proprio l'ideale avere la doccia all'interno della stanza, non ci sono molti spazi dove poterti cambiare con privacy.

Excellente localisation, à quelques pas de Imsouane Bay. Le personnel est exceptionnel, le petit-déjeuner est correct et l’atmosphère très agréable. Un endroit paisible, idéal pour profiter de Vibes + tranquillité.

I really enjoyed my stay here The property has a great atmosphere, the place is clean and comfortable and the location is convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better Overall it felt like a nice place to relax and meet other travelers

comfy beds with sockets, spacious lockers, great rooftop terrace and well-equipped kitchen, easy to rent a board for the day for 80dh, nice outdoor terrace too, yoga mats and basic gym equipment for free use

no soap in the bathroom, overall the bathroom could be cleaner, but besides that no complaints

The location is nice and close to all surf spots. House has nice roof top, yoga mats and sport bars for free use.

We stayed 7 nights and our room wasn’t been clean even once. I understand that surf house is not 5 start hotel, but to help keeping the room clean while long stay would be very kind.

Hotel muy cercano a la playa. Habitación limpia y con muebles bastante nuevos. Personal muy atento y simpático.

El desayuno es self-service, por lo que debes servirte tú mismo lo que vayas a consumir y, una vez hayas desayunado, fregar los utensilios que hayas utilizado. Me hubiera gustado que sirvieran directamente el desayuno, aunque entiendo que al ser un hostel funcione así.

An absolute highlight of our trip! Abdellah is a fantastic host – incredibly friendly, warm-hearted, and he truly goes above and beyond to make every wish come true. We stayed in the double room with a sea view and separate beds. For Moroccan standards, the amenities are top-notch, and everything was super clean (it even smelled wonderfully fresh!). A little bonus for animal lovers: there is a very sweet house cat. The breakfast buffet was perfectly on time every morning, plentiful, and delicious. The surf lesson was also outstanding and so much fun. We felt completely comfortable and incredibly well taken care of. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Imsouane!

The only downside was the barking dogs outside in the morning, which woke us up quite early. (A quick tip for light sleepers: bring earplugs!)

Super séjour ! L'auberge est bien placée, à 2 min des spots de surf de la baie, c'est vraiment pratique 🏄 Ambiance calme et tranquille, parfait pour décompresser. Les petits dej sont super, un vrai bon début de journée ! Abdellah est super sympa, toujours disponible et de bonne humeur. J'ai tellement aimé que j'y suis revenue une deuxième fois pendant mon trip, ça dit tout ! Je recommande sans hésiter ☀️

Le seul petit truc à améliorer ce serait des casiers à clé, vraiment utile pour ce sentir encore plus en sécurité ! Et pourquoi pas quelques petites bricoles sympas sur le rooftop pour le rendre encore plus cosy 😉

Es war eine sehr nette Unterkunft. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in unserer schönen lichtdurchfluteten großen Suite. Der Surfboardverleih war unkompliziert. Das Frühstück war gut.

Die Sauberkeit der Küche hängt von den weiteren Gästen.

Excellent séjour en famille. Nous avons passé 2 nuits très agréables dans un cadre calme et reposant. L’emplacement est idéal, le personnel est accueillant, attentionné et toujours disponible. Tout était parfaitement organisé et nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise dès notre arrivée. Une très belle expérience que nous garderons avec plaisir.

It was an Apartment but kitchen in the apartment has nothing, so I can’t use.

Location is amazing, 1st line! Abdellah is the soul of this surf house, choukran bezef (special thanks to Mustafa for letting me eat all the eggs at breakfast!!). It’s not about fancy: it’s warm & cosy, there is a family atmosphere. Very close to the spot so you can go out for a surf check anytime + watch sunset from the rooftop :) Breakfast, board rental, laundry service, strong internet connection at every floor & rooms… you have got it all, just book it! 🫶

Ubytování se nám líbilo, ale je tu určitě prostor na zlepšení. Pokoj byl celkem prostorný, ale měli jsme objednaný výhled na oceán, to jsme nedostali, naopak nám do pokoje koukali lidé, kteří se po surfu sprchovali vedle domu a my viděli na ně. V noci byl ale klid a ticho, dalo se hezky vyspat. Což je oproti Taghazoutu velký rozdíl. Personál byl moc milý, nápomocný a snídaně byla celkem fajn (vejce na tvrdo, chléb a džemy, sýry). Líbilo se nám snídat spolu s ostatními hosty. Lokalita byla též super, blízko ke všemu i na pláž. Také nám zajistili taxi z letiště, což jsme ocenili.

Bohužel, náš pokoj by potřeboval udržovat nebo minimálně menší rekonstrukci. Starší nábytek by nám nevadil, ale plíseň v koupelně nás trochu překvapila. V pokoji jsme měli také okno do koupelny, takže bylo vidět když se někdo sprchuje nebo vykonává potřebu, mohlo by to někomu vadit. Nás to pobavilo, ale člověk na toaletě ocení soukromí. Je trochu škoda že již neprobíhají joga sessions a neni možnost vyuzit nějakého programu na hostelu včetně výletů. Jediné co nabízejí je půjčení surfu (trochu starší a malý výběr, ale stačí).

The location is perfect, 5 minutes away from the beach. The staff is so kind. I stayed for 3 days only and it felt like home.

la camera non era proprio vista mare come prenotato ma ok. ci sono surf house più sul mare. un po' terrificante la doccia con vetro che da sulla camera a vista, e senza cabina si allaga il bagno, ma ok.

Unterkunft ist in guter Lage, hat einen schonen Gemeinschaftsbereich und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Surfboards Können direkt vor Ort ausgeliehen werden. Die Bretter sind in gutem Zustand und das Ausleihen lief reibungslos.

sauber & schön! es gibt auch eine Küche, in der man kochen kann. Die Surfboards kann man sich in der Unterkunft ausleihen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit

There is only one dorm, so not the most social hostel. I liked the calmness

Staff weren't the friendliest, borderline rude, felt like they owned the place, and were not very accommodating to guests. They'd remove the breakfast as we were eating and having fun - super strict cutoff time because they had to clean the place suddenly - odd timing! And the bathroom had nothing to hang your towel or put your stuff on, just sinks.

The bathroom in the dorm doesn’t really have the main doors, even the toilet doors are not the best and you can hear literally everything when someone goes to the bathroom and you’re in the room… Also there was almost never toilet paper, even after everyday cleaning they didn’t add toilet paper.

Propre, je recommande pour solo voyageur pour connaitre du monde autour du déj, bonne vue sur les deux spots de surf depuis la terrasse, lit en dortoir avec un peu d'intimité, bonne douche, de quoi faire calisthenics (traction , dips)

C'était mieux quand c'était géré par Hassan.Le responsable Abdellah est très stricte, aucune personne avec réservation active ne peut franchir la porte d'entrée, même si c'est une personne qui était cliente précédemment. Pas de casier pour verrouiller. Le petit déj est peu varié et horaire stricte de 9:00 à 10:00, c'est bien pour 2-3 jours, mais quand on reste 2-3 semaines c'est lassant.

Very well located. Possibility to rent a board and wetsuit. Nice time spent with Abdellah the manager. I met nice people there.

Abdellah ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber….!! ✌🏻 Das Frühstück war vielseitig, trotzdem typisch marokkanisch. Es gibt diverse Surfbretter inklusive Wetsuit zu einem fairen Preis auszuleihen und man kommt locker zu Fuß in 5 Minuten bis zum Surfspot…. Ich werde bestimmt wiederkommen, wenn ich in Imsouane bin….!! 😎
