Geen warm water
Lovely property on the beach however it is really run down. Staff was wonderful but we will not stay again.
Everything was broken. There was no made service. The restaurant was closed and we were in the very area so those are expensive to tour around.
I like the location of the property and that it is on the beach. The property needs to be renovated, and mosquito nets placed in bedrooms. I had mosquitoes buzzing in my ear all through the night and morning. I did not sleep well the entire time I was at the hotel. The doors are not sealed so it's easy for mosquitoes to come in and out of the rooms. I did like the food prepared for breakfast. However, it took a longtime to get the food. The waitress was not prompt and customer friendly. On Sunday the waitress was not there, and the cook was prompt and customer friendly. The staff need better time management when preparing the food especially when I put my order in the day before.
Hochwertige Ausstattung mit Kühlschrank, großzügiges Badezimmer.

Restaurante cerrado, no había comida. Mis colegas llegaron antes y se cambiaron de hotel porque no había comida, el restaurante estaba cerrado, no había casi nadie en el hotel y el bar nada que ver con las fotos, por esa razón nos cambiamos de hotel y cancelamos la reserva.
VERY VERY beautiful spot, private stunning beach lovely olde world hotel with big room and bathroom.
Was bitten all night with something other than mosquitoes only while lying on the bed to sleep. 🤷🏽♀️ The shower sprayed everywhere else other than the person in it. The toilet made an AWFUL LOUD screeching long noise when flushed. The plug sockets all looked terrifyingly hazardous.
Full kitchen/restaurant and bar on-site. Room very large, king bed and queen bed. Walk in closet and big bathroom. Free mosquito repellent coils. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Strong wifi with extenders throughout the property.
The property flooded very fast in the rain. LOTS of mosquitoes. 1 towel and 1 tiny bar of soap provided for a family of 4. No iron, no fridge or microwave in the room. On-site food and beverage prices quite high.
I had the whole beach (beautiful, crystal waters)to myself, what else do I need to say! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. Very beautiful location with easy access to the beach and to a bustling and thriving town.
This is an energy efficient site so wifi and water trickled to a halt after 10pm. Bathroom and room could definitely use mats for the sand and rods or hooks to hang wet towels and bathing suits.
The staff were friendly but the property was not in a great condition.
I understand the property has been sold and is on need of a llot update but they are trying just was very unhappy threeday no water a little bit of water here and there but I was able to go shower by my family but what if we did have family members near by.
It was the ideal location.
The staff warm and friendly and the food was good.
This trip was the most life-changing experience! I truly enjoyed the amazing people that I've had the opportunity to encounter. The sense of peace that I felt there is unmatched. I remember and miss the beautiful sunsets and long walks on the beach. The ability to get lost in the moment. Thank you, Jamaica! The surroundings allowed me the opportunity to dream in a stress-free environment.
Did not stay for breakfast

Has the potential to be a very nice resort. Quiet beach. Very nice balcony for dining. Jash ( caretaker / manager) could be a great asset for the hotel. They need to push events like Black River Safari and YS Falls et al and offer to get people there. Offers something very different to all inclusives. Staff tried to be helpful and were always courteous.
Limited knowledge of staff of local events, eg trips to Pelican Bar, literally up the road. No knowledge of Crab Festival happening on the day we arrived. Poor cross selling , and lost chance to help us have an enhanced holiday experience and probably spend more money. They will need to upgrade property, but are apparently in the process of doing that. Catering needs to be significantly strengthened and systemised or people will simply dine elsewhere.
Quaint quiet prooerty with friendly and helpful staff.
It was okay. The beach was the best part of our stay.
Chef was excellent on location, food very yummy. The manager (Shanice), other employees (Omar & Josh), and owner were very patient, friendly, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and content, even beyond their shift hours. They were truly the definition of wonderful customer service. Thank you all.
Facility is under new management, so improvements are underway now, looking forward to it. Thanks.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Great location in Black River on the beach. The place was easy to find, safe, and clean. The beds were very comfy, cool AC, and had great wifi. I highly recommend staying here and will stay again in the future
The hotel was newly renovated, lots of freshly planted flowers and beautiful new deck overlooking beach. Great sunset. Dapsie was lovely waitress. Breakfast was authentic. Room was very reasonably priced. It’s a little hidden gem! Crocodile safari was excellent too!
Even though the place is been renovated, I love the location, the beach, the comfort, calm and sweet. The food was great but a little expensive
There is no snack shop for a quick bite
Delightful. Property has freshly planted flowers and its restaurant deck is under renovation, but still operating. Best sunsets on the planet! Food was fresh and fairly priced. The Jamaican breakfast was fantastic!
The hotel has a boat but it wasn’t available so we had to take a private tour to Pelican restaurant. We prefer doing everything from the hotel.
All is well no complaints
There was a point the whole property was dark without any staff present. Seemed like we were the only ones staying. Felt very unsafe and vulnerable at that time!
Didn't have breakfast as we wanted ackee but it was out of season but loved sitting out near the beach and water, it's very relaxing
Needed some work on outside gardens as a lot of broken pots and looked a little disheveled
Breakfast was fair
I did not like the location. It was hard to get transportation to anywhere. The room was dark with mosquitoes and roach infestation. T.V. did not work and also the bed lamp. I had two nights stay and nearly got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The best thing about it is that the few staff they had were quite friendly
It’s a nice place I’ll go back again
The manager and owners were very kind. I really enjoyed my stay there.
The highlight for me was the direct access to the beach, which made it so convenient to enjoy the ocean anytime. The seafood was outstanding fresh, flavourful, and expertly prepared. Every meal felt like a treat! If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway that doesn’t break the bank, Indigo Beach Resort is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be returning!
I highly recommend Indigo Beach Resort for its excellent management, proximity to the sea, and peaceful surroundings. While the property does require some refurbishment, this is something the owner is actively addressing and should not deter you from visiting. Pros: • Stunning sea views • Friendly and helpful manager (Thank you, Ms Gooden). • Courteous and attentive staff • Delicious food • Mosquito net provided • Comfortable bed and pillows • Highly responsive to queries before arrival
• The property has a dated appearance and some items could do with being replaced. • Bring insect repellent due to the beach location
Ms. Gooden was fantastic. From check in to check out and everything in between, she was amazing. She truly cared about your experience.
The buildings and grounds are in dire need of renovation and maintenance. Ms. Gooden isn't the owner and so unfortunately, her hands are tied. The owner really needs to step up and invest.the money needed to bring this place up to a good level. Nothing fancy but at least have caps on the faucets, fix the cracked TV in the room, repair the deck and clean up the grounds. Put out some beach chairs. It's as if the owner doesn't care - which is sad as it's a beautiful location and Ms. Gooden does her best with what she has to work with.
We loved this property! the location was so peaceful and serene by the water. The rooms where very clean and well equipped, the staff were really friendly and helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant was nice and we enjoyed iur Jamaican breakfast by the water. Would definitely come and stay again on our next trip.
Very quaint spot. Rooms are fresh and clean. The food is fresh, straight from the farm and staff pleasant.
Nothing
My experience with Indigo was horrible. So first the room was moldy and not smelling fresh so I had to pay an extra $35 to be moved the villa. Got to the villa and there was no electricity in the area and there was no generator so I had to rent one and buy gas for it. The owner who seems to be living in Canada has no care for guest and didn't care to try to help. The staff there had no care. Also the owner needs to know that no one wants to be in jamaica calling all the way to Canada for help.
It's the worst experience ever I had to cut my stay and went somewhere else. There were very inconsiderate, no humidity toward ppl. No customer service training and disrespectful ,even the ecoun
The property looks nice but needs some works on the communal areas. It is right on the beach. It s fine for a night or 2 but it is better to have your own vehicle to go eat outside. Las Vegas restaurant is very good option. For Black River Safari just go on your own to the departing point by the bridge and buy a ticket. 25usd pp. We were only 2 people on the boat. Be aware that the tour is not running on Sundays and in really bad weather.
There is an extra cost for breakfast of 10usd plus tax which would be fine if it didn t feel somehow poor value for some scrambled eggs and toast and coffee or tea. Fruit plate is extra 4usd and consists of 5 slices of papaya and a slice of orange.
loved the intimacy of the location and how homely it felt.. The property is fairly decent. The deck overlooking the sea was the show stealer and the staff 💕💕. Thanks Ms. Gooden and I think Ms. Mckenzie if I am correct the chef. Breakfast was wonderful (chef kisses) no complaints. The bed!!! I haven't slept so well in a longtime. Just a few fixes and the thing sell off. Thanks for having us!!
I was hoping for tranquility and comfort when I booked the property, and it delivered. The staff made us feel like family and were helpful with activities of the property.
Check in was smooth even though I got in very late. The staff are excellent and I would definitely stayed again.
The staff were lovy on arrival. The room nice, spacey and comfortable. Just take mozzy spray. Location wise, absolutly perfect. On a small beach, we had it to ourselves except for the fishermen, was great watching them bring in their nets and see the catch. Sunset was amazing. Breakfast was really good, we went for jamaican, salt fish and callaloo, really tasty. I will definitely be returning next time im.in jamaica. Highly recomended.
