Outstanding natural beauty.

I loved how cosy it was, the bed was so comfortable and kitchen well equipped! Everything was so clean too

Great stay, very scenic, comfy beds and cool cabins. Roy the owner is for welcoming and kind. Kinvara is a lovely village. With plenty of good food options for a small enough village. Would highly recommend Linanes Seafood about 4km from the cabins, get the lobster.

Booked this trip for my boyfriends birthday present and it exceeded our expectations!! Absolutely amazing location and it was such a wholesome experience! Cant wait to go back already

Everything - this place was a real find So out of the way in the countryside and yet only a mile from the lovely coastal town of Kinvarra. The very welcoming owners , Roy and Mary are lovely folk who really care about where they live - everything is sustainable - the natural meadow we looked out onto is incredible - never been farmed and is asplash with brightly coloured wildflowers 😊 They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the farm and the local area . There is an array of lovely animals - goats , pigs ,llamas, alpaca and ponies - who all look very happy We were intrigued by the disappearing and reappearing turlough near our cabin ! The cabin is warm and very cosy - the shower was hot with good pressure too - incredible as everything is off grid We found the toilet easy to manage The kitchen is equipped to make a meal and the wood burning stove was just great at night . There is a hammock and a barbecue which we didn’t use - would be great in better weather

Location was beautiful, secluded, tranquil which was all we were looking for . There was loads to do and see in the surrounding countryside, great walks on beaches fantastic scenery and also lots of good restaurants and pubs .

Cosy and cute, perfect for a romantic couples getaway

It was exactly what we wanted and more. Simple, off grid (isolated, relaxing, surrounded by pure nature). Odourless toilet in cabin but also working toilet on the property 5/10 minute walk from cabin. Cabin was much warmer than expected due to the wood fired stove. Outdoor fire facilities. Little unexpected extras like the hammock made this stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. We will 100% be returning. Roy the host was amazing, a lot of information given regarding walks etc, anything we needed he was there. An absolute pleasure.

De locatie is prachtig, de huisjes zijn fraai afgewerkt en staan ver uit elkaar, waardoor er veel privacy is. Het was heerlijk om in de avond buiten bij het kampvuur te zitten.

Great place to espace but still nearby to Kinvara which is great! Roy was fantastic in ensuring we had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay! We were also able to bring our large dog which was a great bonus!

De prachtige omgeving overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het terrein heeft veel moois te bieden.

Het is natuurlijk eenvoudig dat weet je voordat je komt (toilet). Dat kan ook niet anders als je op zo’n lokatie wilt zitten. Alles wat je extra nodig hebt, ontdekt dat je toch niet zonder kunt. Vraag dat gewoon en het wordt gebracht.

An incredible experience that exceeded my expectations. The cabin was very relaxing and comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen (fridge, cooker) as well as an outdoor cooking area. The bathroom had a dry Scandinavian toilet and a shower. There were multiple cabins at this property but the cabins were spaced apart so everyone had a private area. The cabins are surrounded by wild flower fields which were a delight to wake up to. There were some nice walking paths and an area with animals (horses, llamas, sheep, goats). When we arrived, Roy met us and took our luggage to the cabin and showed us how everything worked. Additionally, this place is dog friendly and our little guy had a wonderful time! Overall, a great place to stay, unwind, and disconnect; highly recommend staying here!

The idea of it…the reality was something else altogether though, massive disappointment

The toilet facilities were poor, one has to use a cup (1 of the only 2 provided) to wash down waste, the cups were filthy, the floor was filthy, there were no 3 pin plug points and notwithstanding, all that was provided was a broken adapter. The shower was on a 60 second sensor which turned on and off with a gesture in from of the sensor however as the shower head was only 30cm out, every time you moved in the shower it turned on or off…the coffee pot was full of mouldy coffee grains. The fire has the previous occupants burned ashes in it. I could go on but have to say I have never been so disappointed with a stay. Without even considering all the foregoing, it was grossly overpriced. I could not and would not recommend this place to anyone

This was a dream getaway and the perfect switch off. Don was so friendly and accommodating. This is such a special place. From cooking on the outdoor fire, to the super comfy bed, to the simplicity of the cabin, we loved every minute. We will definitely be back.

Roy and Mary were great hosts - we felt well looked after but had plenty of private space at our cabin. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Meeting the animals was an amazing experience as well.

Localisation, STOVE ,closeness to the Nature, Farm Walk paths, close contact with animals on the farm, tranquility and closeness to Kinvara village , good quality cotton bedding , books available for reading

Lukewarm water available only in the shower, too small round table for having a meals , way to soft mattress. (We both woke up with the back pain ). That would be great to have some pergola- style roof covering an area upfront of the cabin - there was no option to open doors( only one way to ventilate the cabin) while the rain was falling heavily just straight into the interior.

A special stay in nature

This was possibly one of the best stays we've had. They are fabulous hosts who went above and beyond and provided everything you could possibly need for a tranquil stay. Beautiful property and location, highly recommend.

The cabin is beautiful with amazing views. It is great that the hosts accept pets. The llamas were very cool as well. Lovely stay, definitely recommend.

Great location to relax and unwind in nature. The stars at night were amazing.The Cabin was extremely comfortable and the stove made it very cosy. Mary and Roy were exceptional hosts, always available to meet our needs
