Perfekt place for staying if you go hiking in Jotunheimen and Valdres, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious, fireplace, i called and asked the owner if he had wood, which he did. They have a sauna which we didn't use, but wil use next time there, we will go back to this place.

Er was een sauna bij het park waar je gebruik van mocht maken. Het huis was zeer ruim.

Het was wat verouderd , matige verlichting in keuken en woonkamer. De koekepannen zijn antiek en van gietijzer dus loodzwaar

WC + Dusch var nerslitna och kan förbättras, framförallt dusch draperiet behöver bytas ut/tvättas - inte fräscht alls. Meddelanden och info inför incheckning var inte tillgängligt.

Sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Idyllische Hütte mit ausreichender Ausstattung und gutem Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Für uns sehr angenehm war die tägliche kostenlose Sauna.

Obviously bathroom and toilet underground were not so friendly … a real negative point. As well electricity is boarder line vs safety. Another point is washing machine and dryer availability … tough to have a slot.

A tucked-away location was welcome by us after two days in the hustle and bustle of Oslo. We loved the rustic charm of the house, which was specious and had everything we needed. We especially loved the lounge. We were very grateful for the use of a washing machine in an adjacent building. We did an evening walk at Beitostolen which is about 10 minutes by car.

It would have been nice if we could have done some walks close to the property but there was a busy road and all private land nearby which is why we drove out for a walk. Lovely place though.

Die Unterkunft überzeugte durch Sauberkeit. Es war alles da, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt. Eigentümer sehr kooperativ und jederzeit erreichbar.

Detaillierte Informationen über Schlüsselkasten, Nummerncode und Lage der Hütte erfolgten erst 2 Tage vor Anreise per email. Da Internet weder auf Schiff noch unterwegs zugänglich, war der "check in" etwas kompliziert. Vielleicht diese Daten bei ausländischen Gästen etwas früher mitteilen.

Fantastic place

Location in the forest was excellent.

Tricky with 3 levels with the bathroom and toilet in the middle. Some rooms did not have adequate lights.

Authentieke inrichting en rustige ligging. Compleet uitgeruste keuken waardoor zelf koken etc. zeer goed mogelijk is. Vriendelijke verhuurder die snel reageert en behulpzaam is.

Helaas was de vaatwasser kapot die niet gemaakt kon worden tijdens ons verblijf. Verhuurder bood wel alternatieve accommodatie aan maar na een paar dagen "alles". verplaatsen vonden wij zelf onhandig. Slaapkamers konden door lichtdoorlatende gordijnen niet behoorlijk donker gemaakt worden. Tussen de buiten en binnenwand van een slaapkamer bevond zich waarschijnlijk een insectennest (bijen/wespen) waardoor er vooral in de nacht een hinderlijk gezoem hoorbaar was. Klacht was bij verhuurder bekend maar helaas is er geen concrete actie ondernomen om dit te verhelpen. WC pot staat enigszins wankel waardoor je op moet letten dat het spoelmechanisme blijft functioneren als dat enigszins verschuift cq. uit balans raakt door beweging in de wc-pot. TV is niet aan de wand gemonteerd (staat op de vloer) en wij konden geen gebruiksaanwijzing vinden. Als tip zou het leuk zijn om wat documentatie over de omgeving in het huis achter te laten zodat huurders zich makkelijk(er) kunnen oriënteren op activiteiten en/of bezienswaardigheden.

We loved the traditional Norwegian "hutte" vibe and the eclectic antique furniture. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. There is even a plunger (French press) for those who don't like the filter coffee that is common in Norway (though sadly we timed our visit just as the coffee grinder dies and hadn't yet been replaced).

Effektiv innsjekk og utsjekk. God plass, fint kjøkken, store soverom.

Dusj - dårlig plass og vann overalt etter dusjing.

Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr sauber, die Betten bequem.

Die Küche war sehr verschmutzt. Die Steckdosen für Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine sowie die Lampe darüber funktionierten nicht. Der Backofen und Töpfe waren sehr verschmiert, am schlimmsten aber war der Kühlschrank und der Gefrierschrank. Hier sprang uns der Schimmel entgegen. Im Außenbereich stand ein Tisch mit nur einem Stuhl, der auch noch defekt war. Ich erwarte eine angemessene Summe als Erstattung!

Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber urgemütlich. Wir konnten abends schön am Kaminfeuer sitzen. Die Küche ist mit modernen Geräten, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Herd, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank ausgestattet und allem Kochzubehör. Das Saunahäuschen steht extra und ist für alle Hütten. Man muss die Sauna selber anheizen ( elektrisch ). Die Dusche dort war leider defekt.

Zu Dusche und Toilette muss man eine Treppe hinuntersteigen in den Keller. Fernseher gibt es nicht, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir hatten gehofft, dass von der Hütte ein paar Wanderwege abgehen. Das ist leider nicht der Fall, man muss immer fahren.

Lokalizacja- blisko do Jotunheiem ❣️. Hytta była wyposażona we wszystko co niezbędne do przygotowania posiłku, kawy lub herbaty. Czysta pościel, wygodne łóżka, cisza, spokój i ten wyjątkowy klimat. I oczywiście sauna 🥰. Fantastyczny kontakt z właścicielem. Polecamy! ♥️

La ubicació estava bé, doncs era just abans d'arribar a Beitostølen.

La casa estava deixada. Estava plena de coses, sensació d'estar desendreçat, molta pols i la cuina bruta (maquina de cafè bruta, plats i gots bruts que va caler netejar per fer servir). Malauradament no la recomanaria. A banda, en no tenir ni cortines que tapin res al mig del bosc i tampoc un tancament complet, vem tenir sensació de poca seguretat.

Det var god plass til alle, og hytta var ren og innbydende. Det beste av alt var kanskje den moderne komforten kombinert med den tradisjonelle, norske hyttestilen🥰🥰

De locatie. Authentiek huisje.

Geen vuilniszak in afvalbak. Lege fles afwasmiddel in kastje. In bestekbak lag alles door elkaar. Vitrage kon je niet goed opzij schuiven in de woonkamer, de runnertjes lopen heel slecht op rail. In ouderslaapkamer verschillende kleuren overtrekken, het staat veel netter als het één geheel is. Maar 1 blokje hout in bak bij open haard. Open haard was niet schoon gemaakt, doordringende geur. Parasol lag ergens op het gras en terrasstoel was stuk.

Das Waldhäuschen liegt ziemlich außerhalb, dafür aber sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich sehr gut – Geschirr, Gläser und alles Nötige war in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Im Kinderzimmer hatten die Kinder allerdings nur wenig Platz, es eignet sich eher für kleinere Kinder als für Teenager. Außerdem war die Dusche recht klein. Insgesamt aber ein gemütlicher Aufenthalt mit guter Ausstattung, wenn man ein bisschen Abgeschiedenheit schätzt.

The bungalow is very private and very clean with easy access. There is a very nice and clean sauna.

The shower in the sauna barn only has hot water. The internal lights are not very bright so you will need some additional lighting.

Der Zugang vom Parkplatz zum Chalet ist nicht akzeptabel, vor allem wenn man sein Gepäck tragen muss.

Super cosy house with nostalgic interior, close to the main road but quiet, ideal for relaxing.

It's not a place made for large people.

Tolles Ambiente Hüttenflair mit guter Ausstattung. Gut erreichbar und dennoch ruhig. Perfekt auch für mehrere Tage.

Nydelig sted med mye sjarm! Lett å finne frem. Perfekt utgangspunkt for Bukkelegeret tur vi skulle på.

Den ene senga knirker så mye at det gikk utover søvnen dessverre.

We used the 2 story cottage (house) with long hitory and really enjoyed it. Very cosy, living area with fire place, nice kitchen. Real nice nordic atmosphere. Beatiful surroundings, silent. Should have stayed for longer here !

Such a lovely location and cozy little cabin. The check in was super easy and the location perfect.

Bra läge, mysig stugby med historiska byggnader. Stugan var rymlig med bra kök. väldigt trevliga ägare.

Traditional Norwegian House giving you a feel of how people lived in Norway 100 years ago. At the same time the house is equally clean and with all the things you need to sped time away in the wilderness.

No Wifi or TV :( But it is a blessing in disguise. No Distraction..

A very cosy traditional cottage

It seemed a bit like coming to someones own home. In the other room there was bedlinen of someone else and a towel. They were not picked up by The cleaning.

Good and comfortable

Beatiful old cottages in traditional style with all amenities. Distanced a short drive to many spectacular hikes. The hosts was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Simply amazing traditional accommodation – perfect for exploring surroundings and Jotunheimen, as well as for simply chilling. Incredible cosiness inside - even with some board games and nice books.

The location and the buildings themselves are like out of a fairytale. Staying in the little cabin is like going back in time, but with all the modern amenities you need. There's even a dishwasher in the kitchen!

Small improvements could make a big difference, e.g having some kitchen towel available in the kitchen, as well as some extra kitchen equipment for cooking, since you're up in the mountains with no easy access to food, restaurants etc.

This place is super cozy and it felt like being in the woods in the middle of nowhere. Super silent area. I really like this old school/ traditional vibe :) + Host was very chill and helpful :)

The property was really gorgeous and you could tell it had a rich history that made it feel cosy and homely. When we arrived there was no heating on, which would have been a nice touch as we were cold. One of the heaters I don’t think was working however we had enough blankets to keep warm.

This cabin is an absolute gem! It’s super cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. And I personally like the unique touch of the cabins, it's giving cozy and homey vibes. Also there's a fully equipped kitchen and I think the highlight of my stay was the SAUNA! The location couldn’t be better—just less than 10 minutes from the Beitolstolen ski resort and some great local shops. Plus, there are several gorgeous mirror-like lake just a 5-minute drive away.
