We liked everything during our stay, first of all the host Sir Efren was super welcoming and very kind! He told us to stay as if we were their visiting relatives and treat it as if it were our own home and be comfortable. The house was clean and super spacious! We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We will definitely choose the same accommodation once we go back to Baguio :)

Exceptional stay – perfect for families and groups! We recently stayed at Malbros House Baquio Philippines and it exceeded all our expectations. The place was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The location was great—peaceful and quiet, yet still very accessible to the main tourist spots in Baguio. What really stood out was the host’s hospitality; they were very accommodating, quick to respond to our inquiries, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrive. Breakfast was good too and Kind enough to offer my husband sopas for his lunch while we are out and for not feeling well, thank you so much kuya efren.  Definitely will come back on our next vacation and we highly recommend this place.

The location is far. Not suitable for elderlies & with handicapped as the rooms are from 1st floor & up which should be stated in the ads. Far from any restaurants, difficult to find one.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than the check in time and had to stay put because the vehicle we used was coding. We were allowed to stay in the second floor living room until the rest of the family arrived and we can ride in an alternative car. Breakfast was a definite plus and and the food was good throughout our stay. It beat going out in the morning to get something to eat. The 2nd and 3rd floor rooms were big enough to accommodate 4 people each and the bathrooms in those floors are big.

The beds in the 2 bedrooms of the 4th level were creaky. The bathroom in the 4th floor was a lot smaller than the 2nd and 3rd floor and only had shower curtains instead of shower doors.

Effren is an amazing hist from a great walk of life. This place was a lot bigger than I had anticipated I wished we stayed a lot longer we will definitely be coming back next time.

No plug for downstairs bathtub given the value of money for this place next time I will message him in advance and maybe offer to provide one for this establishment.

One small improvement would be to provide easily accessible cutlery and plates for guests’ convenience.

Malbros Guest House Date Visited : 1~3 May 2026 Gorup of 10 people with 3 children’s The welcome feels genuinely warm which is a tradition to Filipinos that they will let you feel as part of the Family. The price is extremely affordable for a 10-person family, and the hotel is within 5~10 minutes away by car to the city center. The owner and its staff are fully supportive delivering very kind service. The entire Guest House are very nice, clean and well-connected rooms available. Breakfast included for the entire family as well as for the kids, with adequate common spaces for the group and even you can use the family room to watch movies (Netflix, Youtube, etc) while having some cold drinks and snacks at the Bar. • Location: 10 / 10 • Cleanliness: 10 / 10 • Comfort/Sleep: 10 / 10 • Service: 10 / 10 • Facilities/Amenities: 10 / 10 • Wi Fi/Work-friendliness: 10 / 10 • Value for money: 10 / 10 Definitely very recommendable for everyone especially for families either locally in the Philippines or from Abroad like the OFW Families. Oh, what incredible hosts! They welcomed us as if we were part of their family. Kuya Efren, his wife, and Nikki were truly wonderful hosts. They were always there whenever we needed anything. They went above and beyond to accommodate us—especially me. When I asked for a table to do my makeup or computer work because there wasn’t one in our room, he didn’t hesitate and got one for me right away. That level of care meant so much. Breakfast was served every morning, which was a huge blessing. Since the place is not close to restaurants or downtown, their decision to provide breakfast for every guest was a thoughtful touch. It saved us from having to search for food early in the morning, and we really appreciated that convenience. Coffee was always available, and the refrigerator was stocked with a variety of drinks. You simply leave your payment on the counter, as the prices are clearly listed on the fridge—very easy and convenient. The hot showers were reliable, and the balcony was definitely a highlight. It’s spacious enough to dance, meditate, or do yoga while enjoying the fresh air. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay. We loved it and would absolutely come back again.

Few recommendations would make malbros much more enjoyable. 1. Better quality towels. Not very absorbent. 2. Bed side lamps. 3. Sockets near beds. 4. Should be advertised as sharing with owners family. 5. Sort WiFi. Netflix frequently buffering. 6. Need access to wardrobes and cupboard space. 6. More cutlery and crockery in the main house. The Host was hospitable and kind. Also kept in touch of when we would arrive. The place was very roomy with ensuite rooms. Showers had ample of hot water for the entire group of 10. Beds are comfortable.

Wifi was not great. I believe in the area was difficult to get network connection or phone signal. I would be nice to have a kitchenette with some plates & cutlery also a microwave to heat some food. Should be stated that mini bar drinks are for purchase not free, which includes drinking water, so we would come more prepared. Didn’t expect the owners family living in one of the rooms, they would come in and out, again it should be stated in the details for privacy reasons. Once we realized it was fine since we are also Filipino.

The house is very large and can accommodate a great number of people with plenty of room to spread out. The area is quiet, away from the noisy streets while still being in a convenient spot close to attractions. The house was easy to find. The top floor has two bedrooms and a living area which was great for our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens). While it is two rooms, know that the ceiling space is open to both rooms so sound travels easily. The fourth floor has one bathroom for both rooms. The second and third floor have one bedroom each with two beds and ensuite. We were a group of nine and we had plenty of space. The second floor is also where the living room, bar area, small dining area and powder room are located. The property has a small terrace on the second floor and rooftop patio. What really made this place worth it were the people. Lisa managed breakfast. The food was really good, served warm and right at the time they said it would be. They accommodated our group by bringing breakfast to the second floor instead of serving it in the main floor dining room which was a great help for the seniors in our group. The host, Efren was there to welcome us when we arrived. They were very helpful with any thing we needed as well as info on ocal spots that we were interested in. You really do feel welcomed and part of the family. We had a great time here and would absolutely stay again.

The house is four floors but the area you stay in starts from the second floor. Access is via a set of stairs so FYI for those who are or traveling with PWD. They are looking into installing an elevator in the future but for now, stairs are the only access. The bathrooms on the third and fourth floor are walk in showers but the second floor is a tub. The beds on the top floor are comfy but squeaky.

The owner and the staffs are very accommodating and helpful . The house is very clean and well organized.

They have 3 floors in the house which is very spacious and the interior of the house is very beautiful. The owners and the staff are very nice and very accommodating.

The 2 rooms on the 3rd floor seems has shared ceiling which has space in between that you can hear everything from the other room.

It was a beautiful home and spacious for a big family. The owner Efren was very nice and friendly. I would recommend this place 100% you'll love it.

The unit is in the vicinity of tourist attractions, very clean, warm and welcoming hospitality from owner Manong Efren and family.

The third floor rooms, beds are squicking and mattresses are hard but otherwise fine.

The house was huge and very accommodating for our big group. Location was very close to attractions even if the drive to get there was a bit scary. It was a steep downhill drive, then a steep uphill to get out. The owners were very nice and we had a free breakfast that they cooked for us.

The kitchen was downstairs where the owners lived. I wish we had more privacy. The fridge by our room was full of drinks and we couldn't put our food inside it. I wish they had an empty one just for guests.

We enjoyed spending family time while staying at Malbros guest house. Roof deck was great for relaxing and in the evening, you can watch the stars. Very peaceful and surrounded by many trees and very little traffic as the houses is at the end of the street. The bedrooms, living rooms and the roof deck were very spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms in the house. Highly recommended.

Location is very good and safe, and they have a space for you to park a car safely. It is a few kilometres from city centre, and if you do not mind renting a car or get a taxi, then this place is a great place to stay. All the bedrooms are very large with able to have 2 large double beds in each room, the bathroms are good on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The owner is very friendly and nice. Most the beds are quite soft and nice. Definitely will return and stay there again.

I like most things, but when we went to Baguio it was a day before a storms and flooding hit the area, not good timing to go anywhere and be caught in storms when on holidays, as power went put a few times and we were left with only cold water. Fortunately the owner is getting a new generator in the next few weeks.

I booked for accommodation which includes breakfast and the host is very accommodating with arranging the same. Also, there are available drinks and stuffs you might want or need like water, sodas, coffees, toothbrush, and the like, but it goes with a fee and to be settled during check out.

There is no elevator going up to the bedrooms.

Malbros House is a new brand house; exceptionally clean. The hosts Efren & Jean were very accommodating. They showed us the ultimate hospitality. Daily Filipino breakfast was served . The hosts even asked us what time we wanted breakfast. The hosts were available whenever we needed assistance. They really made us feel at home!!

The place is excellent. Service is beyond expectation. The owner, Sir Efren is 24/7 reacheable. They treated guests like family. They personally adjusted to our needs without asking for extra charge. They have what we have requested each time. Very accomodating. 100 percent must recommended. We will surely choose this place next time.

first of all, Mr. Efren is an excellent person. The helper is always in touch with his guests staying at his facility, and also Mr. efren's wife is an excellent host. we were in our own house as a family. He has always been a great support in transfer, both in Bagiou's historical and touristic locations. It was a perfect vacation for us. Our Van broke down on the way, it was raining and it's getting late and foggy but luckily Sir J came ( brother of the owner Sir E) came to rescue us. He said we have no choice but to left our van on the side of the road. Upon arrival Sir E ( the owner) welcome us with a very big smile ( we feel safe that we finally arrived.) The living room is very nice and beautiful straight to the dinning table and the bar. I was amazed of the place, beautiful and cozy. The rooms are so spacious with own bathroom and bathtub & shower, it was clean with a very nice view outside. Our breakfast was served especially by Sir E. Our second day they help us get our van and bring it to the place where Sir J ( He even moved his plan going back to manila just to us fix the van) and other 2 mechanic fix it for the whole day. We are so thankful for Sir J, and most especially to Sir E and his wife for the free and for treating us a family not a guest. Truly an exceptional indeed, a kind hearted people, who's willing to help, very accomodating, down to earth and a truly blessing to the people they meet. We will never forget your kindness. Once again to Sir J, Sir E and his wife THANK YOU WITH ALL OUR HEART. More blessing to come. We will definitely come back.
