Abbiamo passato una notte nella struttura per visitare meglio Anyradhapura. Posizione perfetta e comoda per raggiungere in tranquillità il centro. Proprietario gentilissimo che ci ha preparato una tipica cena cingalese e un’ottima colazione. La colazione era così abbondante che ci ha preparato una busta per il takeaway. Camera con condizionatore perfetto, unica pecca la presenza di qualche essere inatteso come una rana in bagno e qualche geco, ma alla fine siamo in SriLanka. È bello così.

Stanza molto carina con balcone che affaccia su uno dei tempi sacri, vista meravigliosa. Stanza grande e accogliente.

Ci sono davvero molte zanzare, il manager ci ha proposto di spruzzare il flit, ma non amando respirare questi prodotti abbiamo declinato. Sarebbe stata gradita una mosquito net, così come abbiamo trovato in molti hotel qui in srilanka. Per il resto casa molto bella

Uitzicht is prachtig!!! Vriendelijk personeel, te vriendelijk in onze ogen. Soms ook iets te opdringerig, maar bedoelde dit goed. Ruime kamer met airco en een koelkast.TV werkte prima. Mogelijkheid om je tuktuk te parkeren. Sri Lakaans ontbijt kan tegen betaling gevraagd worden. Het is een royaal ontbijt dat werd gemaakt door een lieve dame dat zeker kan koken. We mochten tegen betaling later uitchecken (tot 14u), wat zeer fijn was! Hierdoor konden we de oude stad bezoeken.

Muggen op de kamer. Prijs ontbijt 2pp: eten 1300rp , fruitsap 300rp, fruit 200rp (fruit: hadden hier niet om gevraagd en moesten het niet betalen). Let op! Dit verblijf ligt in de oude stad. Waardoor je wordt tegengehouden of je wel tickets hebt. Wij vertelden de controleurs dat wij hier een verblijf hadden en toen was het oké.

Owner was very accommodating and welcoming, always wanted to help . Prepared a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast , beautiful setting with lovely views from balcony and roof top.

Beautiful place, only 8 months old, run by a friendly owner who speaks excellent English and is very happy to help whenever needed. The location is superb! The view from the roofterrace can't be beaten and very quiet. And it is only 400m from one of Anuradhapura's ancient sites.

Just some small possible improvements I could think of. II would have appreciated an extra bin in the bathroom. Also the whole bathroom gets wet when taking a shower. This is often the case in Sri Lanka but to me it helps a lot if a squeegee is provided to get the thing dry again.

Location and it’s affordable

The location was really good. The balcony had amazing views of the Abhayagiri Stupa and an amazing sunrise. The breakfast was also very very good and had an amazing homely feel about it. I really want to thank our host for his amazing service and hospitality even though we forgot to hand over our keys to him 😅.

Honestly there wasn’t much to complain about. There were spiderwebs in the bathroom but other than that the beds were very nice and the room was clean.

Friendly staff. Everything shown in photos on booking.com was available in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony and the rooftop was great. Homecooked dinner and breakfast served were delicious and reasonably priced.

There were a few tiny ants near the waste bin kept inside the room. However, they were gone after we shifted the bin into the bathroom.

The resort offered 3 spacious and comfortable rooms as per the booking request. The staff is very friendly and easily approachable. The breakfast provided was also delicious and quite satisfying.

Couldn't locate TV in the downstairs room, not that we were expecting to watch TV that night though.

The view from the roof top is amazing, like the dinner and breakfast menue. Also the staff is very nice to talk to.

I liked everything.

Excellent location, comfortable spacious rooms, friendly staff and good food. Staff is keen to do whatever they can to make the stay a comfortable one.

Food is expensive and charged per item in all meals. No fixed menus or prices are available to see before ordering. Cost of food is only revealed in the final bill.

The location of Green Shield is absolutely beautiful and the view you get of Ahbayaghira at morning and night is stunning. The staff was so nice and welcoming, he made sure every request was fulfilled during our stay. The breakfast was really good and we got everything we asked for. If you want a quiet place to stay right outside of the Sacred city of Anuradhapura then this is your place.

The location is quite and calm.

Sorry to mention this, but the truth is, I killed 38 mosquitos in this family room. Couldn't sleep calmly in those 02 nights. Eventhough they do not provide mosquito nets. Website booking was included breakfast but they separately charged for our breakfast.

The accomodation seems new and the rooms were big. The host was most accomodating and we had a great stay. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty and we received Sri Lankan food, some of which we haven't eaten until then. The accomodation is inside the ruins and viewing the Abayagiriya Stupda at sunset was great

The property is new, super comfortable and stylishly decorated. Every room has a view of one of the stupas which are stunningly lit at night.

Location and view was very nice. Place is charming and the staff is very kind and helpful. They helped us to things get onboard.

We didn't notice that the breakfast was an optional thing. When we asked from the properly owner the cost was not discussed. Breakfast cost was relatively high with the things provided.

Breakfast was delicious and they served it in a really nice manner. Location was exceptional as the hotel is surrounded by the lush greenery. The panoramic view of ancient Abhayagiriya Sthupa which was visible to the roof top of the hotel was breathtaking.

It is an excellent place to stay. The staff and the breakfast were very good. The rooms were big and comfortable. We got excellent service from the hotel. I highly recommend it.

View from the room and rooftop was amazing. Host was kind and helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Food was delicious. Beds were comfy. Facilities including AC and hot water were great. Had enough parking space for few vehicles. Place was situated near some Anuradhapura landmarks.

The staff was very friendly. Felt like another home. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. Closer to most of the religous places. Nice view and a beautiful place. Overall experience was excellent.
