This is my 3rd stay and there were improvements each time. My first stay in 2024, the windows were in bad state, this was fixed by my 2nd stay. In turn the bathroom stall leaked a lot. This was fixed this time!

I wish they would provide an extra bath towel, or a face towel.

- Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren voller Schimmelflecken, die dementsprechend gerochen haben - Das Bett war hart und unbequem - Die Lautstärke im Zimmer bei Nacht: Man hört sowohl die Leute im Gang, die Leute auf der Straße als auch die Autos (Schalldämmung ist hier nicht vorhanden) - Das Zimmer war extrem klein

The location is superb. There are three apartments with 4 flats each. We stayed in 104 Diamond. There was a bakery and a reflexologist right down under. Very clean apartment. Guidelines given prior were also helpful.

Nothing I dislike. The obly amenity missing is a washing machine in the apartments but there is a laundry place down the street.

La habitación era algo pequeña, y era un hotel que entrabas y salias con un codigo por lo que no tuvimos contacto con nadie. Una semana antes nos cambiaron el vuelo de llegada a Geortown y teniamos dos noches reservadas, pero solo ibamos a pasar una noche alli, y aunque ya no se podía cancelar la reserva, solo nos cobraron la noche que pasamos.

Man solltr wissen, dass es zumindest im Room Gold keine Fensterscheiben gibt, sondern mur Fensterläden. Die Fenster gehen aber nach hinten raus, weshalb es kaum Straßenlärm gibt.

Logement propre et très bien optimisé. Bonne literie. L’essentiel est présent, il y a même un mini réfrigérateur et un coin pour repasser si besoin.

Arrivée tardive possible. C’est la deuxième fois que nous choisissons cet établissement pour notre séjour à Penang. C’est dire qu’il nous a convenu.

Lo limpio que estaba, la cama y el baño con la ducha con cristalera.

El ruido de la fiesta del sábado por la noche que se oía muchisimo incluso con tapones.

La localisation. Même s'il n'y a personne pour nous accueillir, si l'on envoie un message, quelqu'un nous répond et nous renseigne rapidement.

Ce nest pas un hotel, donc la chambre nest pas nettoyée. Après plusieurs nuits, c'est un peu dommage.

L’emplacement à Chinatown

Tout d’abord les draps sales à notre arrivée, ensuite pas suffisamment de draps et d’oreiller, le nombre de personnes que nous étions, et ça semblait poser problème de nous en fournir le juste nombre. Ensuite les chambres sont situées juste au-dessus d’un night-club.. original, mais j’aurais préféré être prévenu.

Clean, generous with free tea and coffee, hand wash etc. Great location. Small but perfectly formed.

A differenza di alcuni giorni prima dove avevamo soggiornato al box 106 e tutto era perfetto questa volta ci è toccato il box 104. Le finestre senza vetri davano su un cortile di un bar e fino alle 02.20 del mattino ci è stato impossibile dormire a causa degli schiamazzi. Ho dovuto intervenire più volte per chiedere di fare silenzio senza successo. Non credo che il bar sia stato aperto di recente quindi i gestori del Treasure avrebbero dovuto trovare una soluzione (es dotare la finestra della camera di vetri). Spiace dirlo ma non siamo per nulla contenti.

Great location. Really clean and private family room in the middle of Georgetown. The owners were responsive to messages and allowed luggage storage after check out despite not being a staffed property. Price also reasonable and I will definitely use again if I come back to Georgetown.

This is an Airbnb style accommodation. The facilities were clean and modern. The shower was great with really good hot water. There were tea/coffee and filtered water facilities. The property is in a great location, close to many Chinese and Thai restaurants, and street food. Georgetown itself is an excellent place to visit.

The room was small, not much room to place luggage and move around. The windows are shuttered, and even though they open, the wind catches them and they close over. We felt a little claustrophobic in this room. We found the cost of the room a little expensive for the experience.

Goede locatie, centraal gelegen, maar toch net buiten de drukkere toeristische buurt. Propere kamer met comfortabele bedden en goed werkende airco.

Ramen zonder glas. De luiken moet je dus steeds toe laten.

Great location close to central bus station and other useful central bus stops for exploring aroound Penang. The room was compact as expected but well arranged, with a nice bed, and the internet and shower etc. all worked very well. There is a small shared kitchen area with a hot and cold water dispenser, and sink which was quite useful. The host was very responsive and helpful via messages.

No real issues, apart from some noise on the first night from late night road works. But host was very responsive in addressing that with the local authorities and offering earplugs, and no issue on subsequent nights. If being fussy could find some dust on some surfaces and plastering/paint flaking off the walls. Also some very tiny ants were always keen to invade through the window and air-con, but only required a little care to keep them under control and ensure any food was kept well sealed up not to encourage them.

The position was perfect right in the middle of the part of Georgetown where you need to be. The place was spotless and super quiet. I really would recommend it to anyone.

I stayed for 3 nights in the single bedroom. It e was perfectly clean, fridge and AC worked well. The location is perfect as it's bery central. The communication with the host was easy and fast.

During the weekend the bar downstairs was busy and very loud. But on the other days it was quiet.

The location is in the center of town. The room is very clean. The bed and facilities is very superb.

It will be much more better if there are facility of lift

La posizione è perfetta per visitare la città. Molto vicina alla via dello street food, alla lavanderia 24h e ad un happy market aperto tutta la notte. Le principali attrazioni si raggiungono in pochi minuti a piedi

La struttura prevede il self check in ma non ci ha comunicato il cambio di codice un giorno dopo il nostro arrivo. Il bagno è abbastanza scomodo per poggiare le cose. Non r possibile aprire le finestre perché ci sono solo le ante in legno e non i vetri. Io condizionatore può essere tenuto solo al minimo altrimenti fa molto rumore .

地理位置方便，附近有很多美食，到新光大廣場兌換錢都很近。 酒店衛生乾淨，布置舒適，且有自助茶水間。

102單人房的沖涼水力太弱。 104單人房牆身有列縫，間中有很小的小昆蟲走出來。

水回りがすごく良かったです。シャワーの水圧が強かったし、温度設定もできました。ジョージタウンの宿を探すと、トイレとお風呂の間に何もないところが多い印象でした。しかし、この宿にはちゃんとガラスの扉があるので、シャワーを浴びてもトイレの床がびちょびちょになりません。

良くなかったというか、こうだったらもっと嬉しいポイントを書かせてもらいます。 バスタオルが1枚だけだったので、顔や手をふくための小さいタオルがあると良かったです。

Une arrivée autonome très bien expliquée, avec vidéo, instructions. Entrée sécurisée, facile à trouver, chambre spacieuse, confortable, propre, sanitaires nickel, douche avec paroi (eau chaude à actionner avec l'interrupteur avant la douche), frigo, sèche cheveux, papier toilette en quantité suffisante, serviettes, gel douche et shampooing, tasses, thé et café à volonté dans la kitchenette ainsi que de l'eau fraîche ou chaude à disposition. Clim efficace. Hôtes très réactifs sur WhatsApp au moindre souci. Emplacement idéal au cœur de ce qu'il y a visiter, tout à 15-20 minutes à pied et le bus CAT gratuit à l'arrêt pasar chowrasta à 6 minutes à pied, qui dessert les principaux sites touristiques. Night market de Kimberley juste à côté pour manger le soir, le terminal de bus Komtar à 5 minutes à pied, à côté de la banque May Bank, la mieux pour retirer du cash sans frais de leur part.

Location is superbly located close to several major supermarkets and malls (Prangin, Gama, Komtar, 1st Avenue), the Lebuh Chulia bar area, the Lebuh Campbell shopping strip and Jalan Chowrasta street markets. The hotel building itself consists of three downstairs shopfronts (at 106,104,102), each of them with four comfortable air conditioned modern rooms (designated Diamond, Crystal, Jade, Gold) located upstairs. One of the rooms does not have an external window. Access to the main entry is via a personal code provided by the apartment via Whatsapp. Airconditioner was effective, bed was soft and comfortable (by Asian standards), instantaneous hot water worked well and the Wifi was fast and reliable.

I had a few minor niggles about the stay. Firstly, the room I stayed in (Jade) had large gaps where the roof and wall joined (I have attached a picture with the gaps circled in red) that allowed in hot air and mosquitos. A simple fix with sealant but bothersome. Second, the windows to the outside are covered with non functional vintage shutters. These are charming but unfortunately they allow in a lot of light (both external and from the hallway, both day and night). Some kind of interior drapes or blinds would fix this and help with the noise as well. Housekeeping was a bit cumbersome and had to be requested either via a Whatsapp chat or by intercepting housekeeping (if they happened to be there). The stairs are extremely steep and there is no handrail so if you have mobility issues this would be a show stopper. My last point is neutral - overall the noise level for the location was exceptional. However the downstairs of 102 converts to a late night bar randomly and the room window overlooks this courtyard. Even with earplugs in the noise level was enough to wake me up about 3 nights out of 21.

The location was perfect for walking and sightseeing in George Town. You can get Grabs to see places further away. The communication for check-in is good and clear. The room is a good size with access to tea and coffee. We have stayed here several times and would definitely recommend it.

Sometimes the front door log in does not register the pin numbers to open the door, it can take multiple attempts before finally opening the door..

Great location near a night food street market. Everything on walking distance in George Town. The rooms where clean and comfortable. Great communication with owners.

The noise of the airco and people talking till late in other buildings can be disturbing for people that don't sleep that hard.

I had a pleasant stay at Treasure Hunter at Heritage Georgetown. The location is great and is about as walkable as it gets in the area. In the evening, there is a market below which makes getting good food really easy. It was very hot outside in the afternoons so the air conditioning was appreciated. I thought that all areas were clean, including the bedroom, bathroom, and the communal sink area. It was nice to be able to make coffee/ tea in the morning and there is a nice machine to have cold and hot water. The shower pressure was good and the water got hot enough for comfortable showers. This hotel has a self-check-in system and the instructions were provided to me through whatsapp; it was easy and straight forward. Even though there is not staff on site 24/7, the system they have in place made me feel safe. There is not daily house keeping which was okay with me and I knew this before arriving. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

C'è uno spazio per caffè, tè e distributore di acqua fredda e calda. Abbastanza vicino a tutto..10 minuti di camminata. Nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono diversi ristoranti e street food

Had a fantastic stay at Treasure Hunter! The room was in perfect condition—very clean and well-maintained. You couldn't ask for a better location; it’s right in the center of Georgetown, making it incredibly easy to walk to all the main attractions and food spots. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Penang!

Good location, very clean, very comfortable beds. Overall good. I think we had one of the better rooms at the back of the place, that wasn’t onto the main road. The smart TV was brilliant! Early check in was appreciated. The hotel was easy to reach via watsapp. We had room 106 gold.

There was construction work and it went on super late on Saturday evening (until 11pm). This was ongoing throughout our stay. The water tank was annoying, constantly heard it filling up throughout the night. We got charged extra for a cleaning fee via booking.com & they don’t service rooms. We got off to a bad start with this booking, as booking.com advertised the wrong price and we were charged more, I tried to prove that but they weren’t helpful at all (this was the fault of booking.com, not the hotel). We paid extra for windows in our room, but they were shuttered windows and we couldn’t open them as no mosquito net, so we had to keep them shut the entire time we were there. We may as well got a windowless room. No place to sit except the hall area which felt like it would be annoying for the other rooms if we sat there. The shower wouldn’t stay up, it kept falling down. Noise insulation from other rooms not great. I believe you can get a better places in Georgetown for the price we paid.

The location is great. Very convenient to nearby attractions and lots of good food around the area. Most of the attractions are walking distance, so if you are driving, you can basically just park your car nearby and travel around by foot. (Ps. property does not provide carpark, you need to park by the roadside. Finding a proper carpark could be painful). The check-in process is quick and efficient. The hotel will send all details via WhatsApp text and the whole process is quick and easy.

(1) Walls are super thin. You can basically hear what is going on in the next room (especially when they are showering or just walking by the corridor). (2) The toilet smells moldy. It is clean but it has a very unpleasant smell. (3) Sheets has stains on it.

Da wir schon sehr früh in Georgetown ankamen und ich reisekrank geworden bin, haben wir nach einem früheren Check-in gefragt und wurden zum Glück schon um 11 statt nachmittags reingelassen. Die Lage war gut um die Stadt fussläufig zu erkunden und ruhig gelegen.

Die Unterkunft hat ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen gewirkt. Es roch sehr muffig, vor allem im Bad. Es gab keine richtigen Fenster aus Glas, sondern nur aus Holz bestehende Fensterläden, die man aufgrund der Hitze geschlossen lassen musste. Also hatte man leider kein Tageslicht und es war sehr stickig.

Precisa de haver mais toalhas. So existia uma de corpo. Deveria de haver também condicionador visto que oferecem shampoo e gel de corpo.

Stairs going up to the rooms: when you're carrying small luggage, it's doable, but not so when you're having to haul a big suitcase.
