Kalani River Villas

We had such a great time at the villa! The experience was amazing! The staff were lovely and it was definitely one of the most beautiful and best places we have ever been to in the world! The pool, the kitchen, the view, the privacy, the thoughtfulness of the little details! Everything made our stay just perfect! Aileen and all the staff were lovely! The security at night gave a sense of security! The food deliveries came right to the villa and the small towns nearby were lovely too and it was a short drive from General Luna and Dapa! We hope to come back to you again! Thank you for an amazing experience for our honeymoon!

If I'm really trying to find faults, then the pillows and bed were a bit hard. And It was difficult to paddle with that kind of kayak that's on the river.

On aurait apprécié des oreillers moins volumineux et une petite douchette pour les pieds avant d’entrer dans la piscine mais ce n’est que de petits détails🤭

An amazing jungle experience! Yes, it's not cheap but we enjoyed every minute of our stay here! We were in the sunset villa and the view is just breathtaking. You can explore the mangroves, go for a swim, enjoy the view in the infinity pool. Room, bed, bathroom, everything 10/10.

Tiny remark: while the bamboo raft is very instagrammable, a simple kayak would be better to actually explore the mangrove forest. The bamboo raft is extremely slow, we were barely moving and a kayak would have been much better for this. But this didn't harm the wonderful experience at all!

We had the good fortune to spend a few days in this house. But calling it a house doesn’t really do it justice… it’s truly an experience. The architecture and the sophisticated design blend beautifully with nature. The house feels like a window opening onto a unique view that you never get tired of admiring. Everything is spotless and cared for down to the smallest detail. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. There is something priceless about being surrounded by nature while enjoying such a comfortable and thoughtfully designed space. Thank you so much for everything. These are the kind of moments I will always carry in my heart.

This villa was exceptional !!! As soon as we checked in we rushed to Booking to extend our stay for two more nights. The views were unbelievable, the room was spotless and with amazing amenities - the incredible pool, a big bathroom, a kitchen outside, a tasteful decoration. There is a short path to the river and a fun raft at your disposal. The staff was incredibly kind and amenable. To top it up, it is close to Santa Fe and its amenities, and a short scooter ride away from Cloud 9, with the bonus of peace, tranquility and an unblocked view of Paradise!

We loved everything

Our stay at Kalani was wonderful. The villa itself and views were gorgeous. It was in a more remote part of the island, yet still close enough to General Luna to go out for drinks and food. Our stay was so peaceful and definitely provided a much needed reset from our daily working life. Our stay was extremely convenient and seamless. Kalani provided clear instructions on getting to the villa from the airport. They set up drop off and pick up of the motorbike and helmets. They also had a Whatsapp contact for a tricycle driver, which we used to get to and from General Luna when we planned to drink alcohol. They provided housekeeping (upon request) which I loved because the villa felt nice and clean each day! I always felt safe because they have security 24 hours a day. I would 100% return and recommend to anyone coming to Siargao.

There was a power outage once, but that comes with staying in Siargao! However, they responded right away and the power was back on within 45 minutes. Some of the food delivery services recommended did not deliver to the villa due to the location.

This is a gorgeous place! I can definitely recommend it to anyone. Beautiful view, very high standard of room interior. Very well maintained.

There is not much to say. Of course, the place is rather remote but that's also the beauty of it.

We liked the amazing view from the villa, it really has a jungle vibe. We also liked the private pool and the nearby river which gave really luxurious feeling. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Also, there is a private feeling, like you are alone in this amazing place.

Because of the way the villa is build, it couldn’t be fully covered, and there is a light in the room very early in the morning. But there are free blindfolds in the villa, which helps.

This was an amazing place. I have travelled a lot and I believe this was by far the best place I have ever been to. The location looking over the river was so peaceful. Ideal with the small pool to cool down in and relax was excellent. We liked the design and one can tell that the owners a has put a lot of efforts into the design and layout. We liked the small outdoor kitchen at the back side. The fact that we were provided with a water dispenser made every day life so convenient. The river below is clean and fresh, I did several days of swimming training in the river but more pleasurable during high tide. When looking at the map it’s a bit far from General Luna, but we came to like the Santa Cruz side as well. And it takes only 20 min to GL.

The place was so nice so it almost felt a waste to leave it and explore the island. 😄. I really tried to find something we didn’t like, the only thing I could come up with was that the walking path to the villa was a bit cumbersome with heavy bags. But now I am really nit picking and looking for something to complain about.

Everything was just outstanding !!! We had the best time ever for my boyfriend’s birthday. They were so nice and accommodating to make a beautiful surprise happening. The view from Sunset Villa is the best I have ever seen. 15/10 would be what I would put if I could. Thank you so much again and we will be back in the furture.

The views from the room over the river and jungle are STUNNING! It looks even better there than on the pictures. We loved the private pool that was perfect for a refreshing dip, and the king size bed is very comfortable. Fast wifi also with Starlink was a big plus.
