Reviewed May 5, 2025This was a lovely little cottage in Goleen. So so lovely, we had the best time. Quaint adorable and had everything we needed. Will definitely return to it, hopefully for longer. It had a fully equipped kitchen and it was clean and cute.
i loved it, the only one thing is the shower glass/curtain is very narrow and the floor gets wet but there's tools to solve it. Not really an issue. and definitely recommend this place!!

Reviewed Apr 26, 2024The location was perfect for us as we attended the church and the Wild West bar, both of which were literally around the corner! The house was gorgeous, warm and spotless. We were also very grateful to have basics like tea and coffee etc., even milk and cereal supplied! The owners thought of everything. Even leaving a firelog and wood for the stove which was lovely to light after spending an hour out in wet weather!

The location on Booking.com showed the cottage to be on a hillside near the ocean. Not so.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2023This was a great spot to stay! We had a ferry booked for Fastnet Lighthouse the next day so the location was great. The day after, we hiked Mizen Head, so also a great location to stay. There's a fantastic bakery (Along The Way) and a fish and chip place just down the street. We went with my daughter and her fiance so having two nice updated bathrooms in the cottage was a bonus! Make sure you stop at the Altar Wedge Tomb that's very close by. The lock box was very easy to get into so no worries there. Lots of ample parking.
