Beautiful apartment, quiet and peaceful yet close to all services. A wonderful host, very helpful and obliging, everything top class.
The property looked exactly like the photos The place was really clean and well set up as a proper home from home The guests info - all instructions were easy to follow and worked perfectly
It was a little too warm when we arrived and the temp wasn't adjustable Being so close to the river, when the windows were open it was a little smelly - not sure if this is seasonal but closing the windows really helped and there are Reed diffusers placed in the rooms that help Some of the bowls needed to be rewashed before use I couldn't find proper cutlery, we had to use plastic stuff which felt awkward
Spacious well equipped beautiful location
All excellent
Overall the property was nice A few issues need addressing once these sorted be excellent place to stay
The stairs not suitable for someone with mobility issues
Świetnie wyposażony apartament. Bardzo przyjazna wlascicielka. Serdecznie polecam
Great views of the waterfall! Comfortable and spacious and sociable. Handy to have a shop next door!
It was hard to work out how to put the hot water on. And we couldn't work out how to put the heating on when we were cold on 2 evenings.
HUGE 2 bed apartment! It had everything you'd need for your holiday - spacious, clean and all the mod cons in the kitchen. Netflix on the TV, which was great. Parking was a bonus too. There's a Centra shop next door which is handy. Great location for exploring the area. The apartment is in the village however there isn't much to do there so you'd definitely need a car. Overall a great property
The fridge/freezer needed a clean and the bulb in the ensuite wasn't working. Also there seemed to be limited hot water in the ensuite shower. These negatives didn't impact on our stay at all, as the property was great.
Ben poco.
The apartment is huge. It next to a filling station and a Centra shop. Everything you need is in the apartment, and the 2 food shops are a couple of minutes walk away, including restaurants and takeaways. It's in a great location and I will recommend the apartment to friends and family for future bookings.
Whoever was in the apartment before us put their dirty crockery, cutlery, and utensils away in cupboards and draws without washing them first. It was disgusting, and we had to wash everything before we could prepare or eat anything in the apartment.
The location of the property is superb - My family stayed in the upstairs apartment - it even had a small balcony that overlooked a small waterfall across the road. It was perfect to relax in the morning whilst having a coffee. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. Security of the apartment was also excellent - we were given keys to an external door and also an internal door, the balcony doors were also lockable. There was a small car park at the rear of the building. The property sits adjacent to a petrol station with a decent sized shop - hot food was available too. *Edit: I would like to add that my family were not the last people to use the property before reviewer 'Dawn'. What she found in the cutlery drawer sounds disgusting and I sympathise with her.
The only thing that some may dislike is the traffic noise, however this was only heard when some of the front-facing windows were open. When closed, the noise is completely absent. Broadband speed was decent (around 20-50Mbps in the living room) but seemed to drop lower with heavy rain - obviously, no fault of the host. These definitely aren't complaints, but potential guests should be aware of them.
Location and cleanliness. It’s a lovely little apartment (one bed downstairs) for a stay in the area. The host is lovely. Thank you for a great stay!
Nothing.
I was very disssatisfied. This poorly secured accommodation cost my family and I our holiday.
My husband, daughters, and I had to abandon the property very late on our first night and seek other accommodation. There was a garage door to the lobby, which was neither locked nor lockable, and there was no other lockable door between it and our living space. So, anyone could walk in off the. street into our apartment. We communicated with the host who was no help whatsoever.
The accomodation was really clean. Easy check in with the lock box. Bed was comfy. Close to the shop. Quick drive to some lovely beaches. Convenient parking at the back.
Spacious, well furnished, the kitchen had an excellent range of cooking implements - including a dry fryer. Beds were very comfortable. Parking on site. Whilst on a busy main road the bedrooms are at the back and have double glazing, so noise is not an issue.
There is limited hot water - especially given the apartment could sleep 4 people. There were 2 of us staying and the hot water ran out halfway through the second persons shower, and both were short showers. Whilst there is a spa bath available the hot water supply wasn’t sufficient to fill it above the jets, and the water wasn’t very hot either. So if staying be prepared to not shower or have a cold one.
Great location overlooking the Dunneill waterfall, plenty of space and Geraldine is a fantastic host. Would recommend!
The place was absolutely amazing. It was so big we found ourselves getting lost a few times. Lovely location handy for both Sligo and Mayo. Beautiful waterfall view. Super fast WiFi. Lovely lounge with telly. Used my firestick on it. Huge kitchen a pleasure to cook in. Very comfortable beds. I can honestly say l did not expect to see what l saw when l went in there. This is the best place l have ever stayed. Met the housekeeping lady when l arrived who was really nice and helpful with local knowledge. The host Geraldine was very easy to communicate. Car parked right outside it too. Will 100% be returning without a doubt.
There was nothing not to like.
Comfortable, clean, well equipped, great location
That there was a seperate bedroom/ensuite and kitchen/living room and that both spaces were quite spacious. Also that there was a laundry area with seperate washing machine and dryer. The location was relaxing and pretty… felt very homely.
Nothing
Spotlessly clean apartment. Lovely views over the river. Right beside an excellent centra shop and cafe, where we had a delicious breakfast. Excellent communication from the host Geraldine.
A little noisy from the main road.
