The hotel initially at a scenic location.No doubt about it. The staffs are good manered.Keep up the good work.

Some areas need to be kept clean regularly. I worried about the wooden structures for example the wooden style walls, frames and carvings need to be painted (wood paint or shellac, otherwise the wooden structures will rotten away and become an eyesore.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. One of the best perks was the RM100 dinner credit per night. It was definitely worth it, as the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious with a great selection of dishes. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. While it was decent, I think the hotel could offer a wider variety of breakfast options to cater to different tastes. Adding more choices would make the overall experience even better.

Big and clean swimming pool. Housekeeping team did good job to ensure room cleanliness.Staffs are professional. Room is spacious.

The room design and hallway hotel are outdated and tired. Need upgrading. The beach with several trash like bottle or debris,fraying flag.

The beach is beautiful

It is a very big but run down resort. Most of the facilities are closed down. There wasn't much to do inside except for the pool and beach. We booked it for the turtle release programme which was less than 30min. The room was dark and certain parts dusty.

The room was super spacious (booked for premium suite and deluxe suite-got duplex unit). the staff also super nice and opened for assistance at any times. Pool was nice and big.

Surrounded/ resort facilities were so bad and poor maintenance. We could see many neglected facilities which spoiled / out of order without further maintenance/repairment/improvement. With the cost of stay at resort and 5star rating, I would expect to have at least 80% above facilities with good maintenance with the price of accommodation (pricey) but many cannot be used by lodger.

The suite was nice, with our own jacuzzi outside. I liked that I could open the door and walk straight out toward the beach.

Room service was terribly confusing. There is a menu available online and when I ordered on line, nothing happened. Apparently I have to call the front desk, they transfer me to the restaurant, and then I place the order. There was no response when I called the room service number. Sigh. Why do you have an online ordering system when you don't take orders online? Why do you have a room service number if nobody picks up?

Old facilities, need to upgrade.

We had a wonderful family stay at this beautiful, luxurious heritage property. The hotel boasts a charming, classic architectural style and is incredibly family-friendly. Our kids loved the pool, which is safely monitored by professional lifeguards. We also enjoyed dining at the onsite restaurant; while the food was excellent, we would have loved to see a wider variety of local dishes on the buffet menu.

The property entrance can be quite difficult to navigate due to oncoming traffic. Additionally, because the hotel sits on a long, straight stretch of road where cars travel at high speeds, missing the exit is very easy—especially at night when visibility is poor. Improved lighting or clearer signage at the entrance would be highly beneficial.

Some of the part of room need to be clean properly.

Overall is ok, maybe can repaint the building. Breakfast are above average. Facilities are old but still can be used. Shaded parking lot. Fast wifi.

Parking area surface are rough, might need repavement. Breakfast needs more variety. TV maybe need to be update to new bigger smart TV. Need to restore to former condition circa 2005.

The decor at the Anjung suite looked old and rustic but that is not bad for it is what it is meant to be! The rooms were clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable.

When we arrived, we have to take the trolley by ourselves and concierge is totally self service. The staffs at the reception desk were also not well trained in hospitality business. They need exposure on how other equivalent hotels front desk works. The bathroom ceiling in room 139 was leaking. The bathtub is not clean, the jacuzzi tub in room 139 was dirty and not functioning. When it rained the awnings leak and the whole veranda flooded. The food choices sucks. The breakfast was not worthy. The lift on the left wing was not working. The windows have not been cleaned. The sliding door does not slide! All in all the hotel needs a major refurbishment and good maintenance.

The hotel has its own private beach. Overall clean and staff are generally helpful. The equipment in the room was outdated - I was not able to use the iron and the fridge was not cold enough for me to store fruits.

the staff is very friendly, the environment is very good.

The hotel was old and dusty everywhere. The air conditioner was also noisy, making it difficult for us to fall asleep.

Salah satu bathroom mudah tersumbat. Sinki tersumbat walau sekadar basih tangan. Shower cubicle bergenang air tiap kali mandi. Toilet pulak tak boleh flush dan tersumbat padahal guna sekali je. Mujur ada dua bilik air..kalau tidak memang dah oergi complain. Breakfast not so impressive,menu berulang dan tak banyak pilihan. Tempat makan sangatttt panas walau masih awal pagi.

The water coming out from the tap/shower was rusty, which is quite concerning. On top of that, we had to wait quite a long time before the water cleared enough to use. This made it inconvenient, especially when you just want a quick shower after a long day. The management should really look into the water system maintenance, as this affects basic comfort and hygiene.

The carpet looked very old and even discolored. Rooms very dirty and looked like they had not been used. lizard droppings in the toilet paper enclave and the toilet paper tissue was stained brown ( indicative it had not been used for a while) we had to request for new toilet paper rolls. Bathroom sink and sides of shower area were dirty and the shower screen looked very dirty. Sink near coffee area was dirty. Overall quite sure that only bed linen were changed and no room/ bathroom cleaning was done. It’s unfortunate but we most probably won’t be coming back at least until any refurbishment is done.

The beach have strong wind and felt cool, I like the big snake ladder on the floor that is fun.

The beach is dirty and full of rubbish, the facilities of the pool such as the hot jacuzzi and waterfall is not functioning and under maintenance, so the pool is boring.

The Resort World is the best place to stay. It is not my first time there. When I went to Terengganu, Resort World was my first choice. I still remember the sound of traditional gendang in the morning and during sunset. There were also souvenir shops, batik for shopping, and the spa, which was a very relaxing experience. I hope the management will bring all of these back again

Only one cafe is open. Hopefully, more cafés will open in the future.

Scenery & ambience

I loved the atmosphere n ambience the resort exudes. Upon arrival, it wraps you up in tranquility and a sense of comfort. Concierge help to get our bags to the designated rooms was a plus point indeed after a long, tiring journey. I especially liked that the tv provided a variety of clear 'watchable' channels!

Maybe housekeeping should have a special trolley with the essentials at hand for emergencies that in-house guests might encounter. It was quite disappointing to be notified that this dept is open up to a certain time only. What if a mishap involving the soiling of bed linen happens after hours? Should a guest be made to rest on wet, soiled bed linen?
