Reviewed Dec 27, 2024Food was homely and tasty. Room was clean as also the washroom and towels, bedsheets, etc. were also clean. Water jug needs to be provided in the room.
Inspite of Booking.com facility of booking at '0' cost, the owner insisted on making token payment for keeping the room reserved which was not as per policy, though Booking.com had confirmed the booking. Room was not self-contained. Only one towel was provided, on insisting, we got one each for the occupant. There was door instead of wall between the room and the adjacent room occupied by other party. Hence the noise in other room was quite irritating at times especially at night and early morning. The distance to the temple seems to be more than 2 kms, not at all walkable, and with no easily available transport facility. Didnt find it convenient to commute to the city centre/temple. There is no kitchen at the property, hence waiting time to get the food order delivered was somewhat long. Its prepared elsewhere and then brought here.

A well furnished room with sufficient lights and cleanliness was there.Crompton company's best gyser for hot water was available.Also best healthy food was served to us.Proper guidance for Swami Samarth darshan was given.Also they provided good transportation services at our required time.And room rate was very nice and affordable. Reviewed Oct 25, 2024There is a guy, who looks after the whole setup. He is the manager cum everything. His family supplies the cooks the food and he supplies if you choose to order from them. He is friendly and approachable but bon AC rooms or.good and AC room is dingy smelly and congested. As the facility is home stay and basically caters to a group of people who visit the pilgrimage centre. The hotel is not too far from the temple , ( around 1.5 km). It is a residential area.
There is not much to dislike for the price point, because though we booked an AC room seeing the condition of cramped dingy rooms , we chose to stay in a non AC Room. Thankfully the guy who was allotted room.agreed to shift . The manager and the owner are super friendly That's a positive point, and kept constantly in touch , and guided us as we were delayed and it was dark when we entered Solapur it self .

Reviewed Sep 29, 2024A filthy facility this hotel belongs to Shree Guru Guest House, there are bed bugs in the room but the staff of the hotel i.e. guest house hid it from us.
We had a dreadful experience at Shree Guru Guest House, which we booked through Booking.com. Despite its seemingly clean appearance, our room was infested with bed bugs in the bed, mattress, bed sheets, and throughout the room. The surrounding area was also overrun with insects and frogs. Furthermore, the staff concealed the bed bug issue from us. To make matters worse, the guest house demanded partial payment immediately after booking, contradicting Booking.com's policy of payment upon arrival. They repeatedly called us for payment, threatening to cancel our reservation if we didn't comply. Our experience suggests that the glowing Google reviews are fabricated, likely posted by the guest house owners or staff. We strongly advise against staying at Shree Guru Guest House and caution others not to rely on their misleading online reviews.
