Connemara Lake View Apartment

Das Appartement war super ausgestattet. Sogar ein kleiner Kamin ist drin. Alles was man braucht ist da. Und obwohl kein Frühstück angeboten wird, stehen cerealien und Milch zur Verfügung. Die Besitzer sind äußerst nett.

La localització tant aïllada però en un lloc incomparable. Estava tot posat amb molt bon gust.

No hi havia cuina, havies d'instalar una placa elèctrica i faltaven molts estris de cuina, com un ganivet. Tampoc hi havia armaris o lloc on deixar les maletes.

Gezellig, schone, ruime en prachtig gelegen accommodatie met een hele leuke en vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. We will be back.

La posizione dell’appartamento é ideale per una sosta di una notte, soprattutto per chi intraprende un viaggio itinerante. Luogo incantevole in mezzo alla brughiera del Connemara, nei pressi un laghetto stupendo e un punto di osservazione (v.foto) Gli host Donna ed Edwin gentilissimi e pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Nei pressi della struttura c’è un honesty shop con possibilità di acquistare cibo e prodotti locali.

Avere a disposizione la colazione avrebbe reso il soggiorno magnifico, vista la distanza dai negozi. Ma é solo un consiglio agli host.

Très bel emplacement, proche du ferry. Propriétaire disponible par message pour aider. La maison est très agréable et tout a été refait à neuf. Linge de maison fournis, avec de quoi petit déjeuner aussi !

Les ustensiles pour la cuisine sont limités, mais suffisant pour un court séjour.

Hosts are super friendly and helpful. The space is lovely and clean, beautiful views, and our children got to interact with the goats. I would highly recommend this accomodation to others visiting Connemara.

Per cucinare é un po' macchinoso e suggerisco di mettere qualche utensile/padella in più. Suggerisco anche di mettere delle zanzariere per i moschini, in modo da poter aprire le finestre senza che entrino. Sarebbe il top

Wat enigszins tegenviel was de beperkte kook faciliteit. En ook al wisten we dat er een slaapbank was, het is toch niet ideaal.

The owners went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I had what I needed to fully recuperate and head off again on my bicycle the next morning. I felt valued 😊

Donna & Edwin's hospitality was one of our highlights while touring around the west of Ireland,they took time out of their day to show my son all their beautiful animals beside our accommodation,this was such a lovely gesture and he was absolutely delighted getting to feed Baabara :) Such warm and caring people,the accommodation was super clean,fresh and well presented and every window was like a painting of the beautiful countryside surrounding them. The shop adjacent to the unit was amazing,we got some awesome fresh eggs and co-cordials for our breakfast,deffo worth checking out if even just passing by. We will definitely be back when we go out west again!

Absolutely nothing this accommodation was a true gem and was the best we have stayed at in a long while.

It would have been great to have an closed outdoor space for kids to play. It was very close to a busy road.

Attractive location, comfortable

So nice and comfortable. Very clean, well stocked and one of the nicest we have experienced in Ireland. Very friendly hosts.

The property is an extension on the owners existing house, but it felt like we were the only ones there. There is a fantastic view of Lough Nafurnace directly across the road, and you are surrounded by Connemara's wonderful landscape. The property has a small vege patch and pond nearby with chickens and ducks; there are some other pets which came around during our visit too. The house had excellent heaters and a small kitchen, which made the space feel like home. We were able to watch a movie on the TV, and had an excellent sleep in the bed which was quite large by Irish standards. The owners did introduce themselves as we were leaving, and they were delightful, giving us some recommendations on what to see in the area, and wishing us a safe journey. I would definitely recommend for a couple who are wanting an escape from the city, but still wanting the comforts of home.

Secluded location with loads of room to spread out. Near places to visit. Quiet and beautiful. Kitchenette was great. Host was lovely. View is lovely too!

There isn’t a lot of food options nearby but if you plan ahead you can easily eat in the apartment.

Came in just after Storm Eowyn to visit Connemara. Donna and Edwin have a wonderful sense of hospitality and were really attentive with us despite no water or electricity due to the storm. We had a marvelous time here!

The apartment is cosy, decorated with lovely furniture and items. We went during new year and they had a Christmas tree set up! The view from the apartment is amazing as it's located in the connemara national park. Donna was super friendly and helpful during our stay, giving us traveling tips and everything we needed. Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.

Everything was great, we only stayed one evening and left very early to get to our next destination.

No air dryer . But that is most of the properties in Ireland. So I am not sure.

The site and the house are beautiful. We were very happy to meet our host. Perfect place to stay !

Donna was lovely, very friendly and great with the kids. The apartment was spotless and beautifully designed. A perfect self catering apartment 🤗. The added bonus was being able to see the honey bees and feed their goats and chickens!

Lovely hostess , super little apartment with everything needed and very clean and the view from the living room and bedroom was amazing . Very close to ferry for Aran islands

Beautiful location and brilliant hosts. Great to see the talent on display in the Honesty Shop, with hand-crafts from quality soaps to jams. Kids will remember helping Donna to feed the hens, goats and especially the bees. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and best of luck with your garden.

Donna and Edwin were excellent hosts. The apartment was very clean. The view was breathtaking. We also got to try homegrown produce, and soap made on site. Our 4 year old also got a private tour of the farm, fed the chickens, and got to see the bees.

The apartment was in a perfect location, easy to get to, and lovely views and walks from the apartment. Donna was so welcoming and showed us around her fantastic property and let my son feed the goats and the chickens, he loved it. Such a great experience for him. She also gave us great information about the local area, which was really helpful. The property is very comfortable and high spec, even nicer than it looks in the pictures and spotlessly clean.

Everything was perfect, I couldn’t fault it at all.
