Ormond Street Motel Woodville

Very clean and comfortable, my sister and I had a lovely stay and will definitely come back one day and will recommend to others needing a short stop or a holiday away from the hustle and bustle.

Nothing could have been better, exceptional all round.

I stayed here one week previously and received the same excellent customser service as i did before. Very clean unit and ideal for what we needed.

The location was perfect for our needs.

Reception staff pleasant and obliging. Facilities as described. Clean, comfortable and nice linens and towels. I arrived on a very chilly night. My room was warm and the electric blankets were on medium, such a nice thought.

The location is in walking distance to the Woodville centre. The bed is comfy and room was very clean. The owner gave us the same room and this is the second time we have stayed. Very homely decor.

Location, friendly staff, nice comfy place, staff had heat pump on for our arrival due to arriving late and they understood i had my mokos coming, house was warm on arrival

Just the stove, 3 elements wasn't working which id say they wasn't informed off until we told them, you can see they are the type of management that would of addressed that issue if they had known straight away.

A nice personal touch was the flowers. Very clean and quiet within walking distance to town.

Spacious unit, very clean, comfortable bed

Very clean and comfortable. Modern decor and colours. Full kitchen facilities and good sized bathroom. Room had a fresh aroma on arrival. Woodville is a lovely small town. Quiet street. Very good local museum with a special section dedicated to Bohemian portait painter Gottfried Lindauer who lived for many years in Woodville. This year will be 100 years since he passed away. In town for the vintage railcar trip to Napier for Art Deco Weekend.

Unit 5 is next door to the laundry and the washing machines start up early in the morning and a bit noisy. SKY TV reception is a bit unreliable however motel manager got it working. On arrival a couple of kids were racing around on their bikes in the driveway. I had to stop and wait until they moved out of the way.

Eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Alles im tadellosen Zustand, sehr sauber und ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A convenient option for going to an event in Ashhurst. Would have been nice for a swim if we'd had more time. Great facilities, very tidy.

The room / apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen for a short stay or self catering. Real milk rather than long life pods was provided on arrival. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Loved the decor, clean, warm, good water as well would liked to have stayed for longer.

it was wonderful for me and my whānau, Its the second time we have stayed here and the host always meet our needs. We we travelling from wairoa to wellington & oir babys needed a break. we were 2hrs away from woodville we checked in past 9pm. Requested the heater to be turned on to warm the room up and she did. We will definitely be back, Bonus is both times the rooms nd linen smell so fresh & clean 🥰🥰🥰 Thankyous

Good location as it was quiet. Small and compact for a one night stay. Good parking although not directly outside the unit.

The electric blanket on the side of the bed nearest the kitchen wasn't working. Told staff in the morning while they walked past but they didn't seem to care. There was also a big draft under the main front door so a draft stopper available would have been a good idea but instead we had to use a rolled-up blanket to stop it. There was no breakfast option available where I am sure I saw a picture of a cooked breakfast on the website gallery of the motel.

The location was quite suburban but quiet and peaceful overnight.

There was not a lot of choice of eating places in Woodville although we were there on a holiday weekend.

Very quiet location and quite spacious unit. It had been refurbished recently and was very clean and tidy.

It would have been good to have a shelf for toiletries in the space where a washing machine may have once been. Fly spray would also be good as I had a persistent mosquito in my bedroom.

Absolutely loved everything from the manager, to our room which we booked the 3bdrm villa, facilities and cleanliness of the property. Perfect stay 10/10. Thank you.

Very cute room set up with lots of great little details. Kitchenette had everything. The water pressure in the shower was insane! Staff very friendly and accomodating. Love the free laundry.

Had everything we needed and was in walking distance to eating places. Also, far enough from the main road that the odd truck going through was just a distant rumble.
