Reviewed Aug 31, 2026The location was great for spending a night in Fredrikstad. It was about a 15 minute walk to catch the free ferry across to the old town, and also easy to walk to the area where all the restaurants are. We also enjoyed being close to the outskirts where there were good running routes around the nearby reservoirs. The property itself was cosy but well equipped. I noticed previous reviews had mentioned the size of the bed. It was a small double that was ok for us to share.
Everything was good

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Its a very cozy apartment with everything you need! The air conditioning is a big plus and there is a huge tv and even a washer/dryer. The host is very welcoming and helpful and they have a very cute dog that loves to announce the visitors. We got a lot of soft towels and there were extra bed sheets. Short walking distance to the city centre.
The bed was very small, but we were able to sleep on the couch, it converts to a bed :) and the hot water heater doesnt have much capacity, so showering and also doing the dishes requires some planning.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2023very comfortable apartment near the center and a supermarket. There is a separate bedroom with a somewhat narrow bed for 2 persons, but in the living area there is a very comfortable double sofa bed. There is a Senseo, oven, washer / dryer combination, kettle and a large TV with Google apps. We could use the garden furniture which has been placed especially for the guests. We had a wonderful stay here for 3 days, partly because of the friendly owners who live in a house next door. We had enough privacy.
