CAREFUL - DANGEROUS! The experience left us shaking. The owner physically locked us into the house and made us miss our plane because he didn't believe that an international money transfer on the weekend might take a few days. We ended up paying double plus had to buy additional flights. No idea if we will ever see any of that money again. Here's the long story: We arrived Friday night, with plans to stay over the weekend and leave Monday morning. The owner was super nice at first; he arrived Saturday morning for the payment. We wanted to pay via credit card, which wasn't possible. The owner demanded a money transfer; I told him that could take a while, since it was the weekend and banks were already closed in Austria. The owner insisted and claimed that in his experience it would take an hour for the money to arrive. I doubted this, but gave in. I made the transfer, showed the owner the confirmation of my bank that the money had left my account. The owner called repeatedly over the weekend, increasingly unfriendly, and demanded to know when the money would arrive. I repeated that it would probably arrive Monday, but as mentioned in the very beginning I couldn't guarantee it. Monday morning before leaving for rhe airport, I ckecked in out of poliiteness to see if the money had arrived. It hadn't. The owner told me to cancel the transfer and pay in cash, and I told him that a) the money had already left my account and I couldn't get it back, and b) that we didn't have time to take out money anymore because we had to leave to catch a plane. He proceeded to physically lock us into the Finca, telling us he wouldn't let us leave until he saw money. We were really scared at this point and told him he would make us miss our plane. He told us that wasn't his problem. We ended up going with him to an ATM and taking out cash, so we paid him double. No idea if we will ever get those 1000 EUR back. Also, we effectively missed our plane.

Reviewed Feb 6, 2025This property is huge and every bedroom has its own bathroom! It’s great for a big group like it was ours! #Malutours was a great suggestion from the villa for us to hire transport around the area and, they were amazing! Very reliable transport and the drivers were excellent and very kind and accommodating to ours needs and itineraries. Highly recommended!
The set up of the bedrooms(beds) weren’t exactly as online but I am sure if you message them in advance they accommodate accordingly to your needs.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2024Wonderful hacienda with pool in the countryside surrounded by nature and stunning views just a short drive from Pereira Airport. Lleinny, the owner, was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Her caretaker, Sandra, was also amazing and cooked and cleaned for us throughout out 5-day stay. The property sleeps up to 23 people with 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. We were 11 in our group. The house, bedrooms etc were just like the photos, though you had to be there to experience just how lovely and breath-taking the surrounding scenery was. A perfect place for a family gathering, or a relaxing break away with friends and a chance to enjoy nature. A car is essential or, as we did, use Mala Tours' taxi service (recommended by Lleinny) for all your transport needs - that way no-one needs to be the "designated driver"! We would love to go back. Thanks Lleinny!

Reviewed Mar 11, 2024The location is spectacular, the views are stunning. The staff was amazing, the hosts were extremely accommodating. The rooms were super comfy and spacious. The whole place is super spacious enough for a large group, every room has a full bathroom. The decorations and furniture enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this location
The road to get there was still being worked on which made getting there a bit of a trip. I wish they had more hammocks (there was only one).
