Beautiful property in a 16th century UNESCO protected building. The room was nice and comfortable, good beds and new bathroom. The little terrace of our room was also very nice and great for our morning coffee.

There was some noise until a bit later in the night, maybe 12AM or so, from outside.

Ik sliep op de tweede verdieping. De trappen waren slecht verlicht en enorm gevaarlijk. Ik ben op handen en voeten naar boven moeten kruipen en s'morgens achterwaarts op handen en voeten naar beneden. De tweede morgen stond het piepkleine halletje vol fietsen en het was bovendien ook nog eens slecht verlicht. Ik ben blij dat ik het heb kunnen navertellen. Vreselijk

The stairs are a bit steep which is due to the fact that the house is a very ancient building. This was no problem for us.

Superlocatie in historisch gebouw midden in begijnhof, alles op loopafstand. Gratis parking op 200 meter. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Leuk terrasje bij de kamer( Moerpoort) Prima douche en comfortabel bed Dolce Gusto koffiezetapparaat

Voor ons geen probleem ,maar goed om te weten, smalle steile trap om in de kamer te komen. Oud historisch gebouw waar de vloer wel eens kan kraken.

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij De Pelgrim in Tongeren. We sliepen op de zolderkamer, die schoon, netjes en ruim was. Alles was goed verzorgd. De locatie is perfect om Tongeren en de omgeving te ontdekken. Een prima uitvalsbasis en zeker een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen!

Onze kamer in dit karakteristieke pand was op de bovenste verdieping. Bereikbaar via 2 authentieke trappen. Niet luxe maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Een heerlijk bed en die kussens ... Helemaal goed ! (Kom je niet vaak tegen) Badkamer ook geen gekheid gewoon alles aanwezig en schoon. Fijne ruime kamer met airco. Kortom een heerlijk verblijf

Steile trappen al is dat inherent aan de accommodatie!! Niet geschikt voor mensen die geen of moeilijk trappen kunnen lopen.

Het kader. In de stad, en toch rustig aan het begijnhof. Heel mooi oud huis. De gevolgen zijn natuurlijk een oude trap, maar dit vind ik charmant. De douche en het bed waren gelukkig niet van eeuwen geleden, maar van zeer goeie kwaliteit.

A unique experience! This is a UNESCO listed property dating back to 1640 so the rooms are Spartan with just the bare minimum in decor but spotlessly clean and comfortable and surprisingly roomy. We also had a little rooftop balcony area to sit amongst the crooked rooftops. Ensuite bathroom was modern and clean.

There is no elevator of course so the only access to the rooms is up a very steep, very narrow staircase which took some effort to negotiate with our luggage. Thankfully our room was on the first floor because the second storey staircase was even steeper. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Besonders in so einem alten Haus zu schlafen

Genial. Ein wunderbares Hotel mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Unbedingt ihr Pelgrim Craft Bier probieren. So individuell und passend zur ältesten Stadt Belgiens in einem Fachwerk Haus von 1636 zu übernachten.

Nicht für gehbehinderte Gäste geeignet, da man enge steile Stiegen zu den Zimmern hat, was für Fachwerkhäuser aus 17jh üblich ist und es nur noch mehr original macht 😉

Mooie kamer in een prachtig oud gebouw. Heel sfeervol. Het ligt in een mooi hoekje van Tongeren.

Jammer dat een ontbijt niet mogelijk is. De oude trap naar de bovenste verdieping heeft heel ondiepe en scheve treden. Voorzichtig dus.

De sfeer van het gebouw Gewoonweg uniek.De vriendelijke uitbaters .Superleuke momenten in de herberg.

War alles perfekt!

Wunderschöner Altbau mit alten Balken und Dielen mitten im ehemaligen Beginenhof. Wer alten Charme mit moderner Einrichtung mag, ist hier genau richtig! Ein Zimmer hat eine wunderbare Dachterrasse.

Nothing really, stairs are steep!

They pre-heated the room prior to arrival because it was freezing cold in the winter. Such a nice touch of hospitality! Room was spacious and Clean as could be, wow I would stay here again. It’s in such a good location! We loved it!

Just a reminder if/when traveling with infants or elderly, this is an old building with extremely steep spiral staircases. It’s lovely, it really is, but… not suitable for young children and the elderly.

This property is impeccably clean while retaining its charming old-world character. Achieving this balance is rare, but they’ve done it flawlessly. There was a nice and renovated bathroom which is something very important to me for a good stay. The location is serene and truly authentic. I would surely recommend.

Remember this is a very historical town and buildings will have tight staircases. Not an issue for us all..

Location: Perfectly situated near key attractions and parking lot making it easy to explore the city. Cleanliness: The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout my stay. Staff: Cannot describe how exceptional —friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

It is a beautiful old building. In the heart of city. It was interesting and unusual.

Steep stairs are tricky. Breakfast would have been a bonus.

De Pelgrim is located in a beautiful and quiet, yet historical part of the old town, just a few minutes away from the center and main attractions. The interior is stunning, beautifully renovated, while the character of the old building is still well preserved. The room we stayed in was fantastic: beautiful, cosy, with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Finally, the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Good location, easy access to the city center, Gallo-Romein museum and Teseum. The building is fully renovated but keeps an old layout, making the stay unique. Very quiet neighborhood for a good night sleep.
