Peumayen Atacama cabaña&Hostal

Our stay was excellent. We had to wait a moment to get into the property but everything after that was sublime. The cottage was huge in size, the kitchenette provided things we needed, the place was clean and very comfortable and quiet, and we loved the location, which we thought was easy to find. Staff was friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again and recommend to others. What a fabulous value.

Appartamento molto ben tenuto ed accogliente. Grande, spazioso e pulito. Dotato di tutto il necessario per soggiorni anche di più giorni. Daiana, l'host, simpatica, gentile e disponibile e bravissima nel suo lavoro. Lo fa davvero con passione. Piscina, lettini sdraio nella zona in comune. Nella zona privata barbecue, zona pranzo esterna e divanetti con cuscini puliti.

Excelente la atención de Dayana, ella es muy atenta y contesta inmediatamente ante cualquier dificultad. La piscina y el espacio compartido son muy agradables y amenos.

El plumón era un poco pequeño, lo que hacía que dormir de a dos fuera un poco incómodo.

Todo perfecto, desde la recepción, las Instalaciones, la habitación, todo. La Administradora Dayana, nos recibió cálidamente, llegamos con nuestro bebé y nos ofrecieron todas las comodidades para instalarnos: Cuna, calefacción, toallas extra y mantas. Dayana nos dió varios tips para visitar atracciones aptas para el bebe la cuales acompañaron súper bien la estadía en San Pedro. La habitación super cómoda, con buena aislacion de frío (aparte nos facilitaron una estufa a gas sin costo), muy limpia, sin insectos y completamente apta para bebés. Algo bueno es que los enchufes están medios escondidos o son usb, lo que te da tranquilidad. El tamaño y distribución de la habitación es lo que más destaco junto a la limpieza y distribución. Puedes cocinar y comer cómodamente en las instalaciones, es tranquilo, seguro y tienes estacionamiento.

Zeer mooi hotel. Wij hadden een grote cabaña met eigen privéterras met eettafel en aparte loungehoek, BBQ en hangmat. Diana en Juan Carlos zijn zeer aangename uitbaters. Altijd bereid om te helpen wanneer er zich een probleem voordoet of om tips te geven ivm uitstappen.

The hot water. On the first day, it there wasn’t any from the shower. Then, they were really helpful and tried to fix it, and the next day we tried it was difficult to adjust it to a nice warm temperature rather than boiling hot. But, it just took a delicate touch and patience.

El lugar increíble para unas vacaciones en familia, todo muy limpio y bien organizado. Los host increíblemente simpáticos. Recomiendo 100%

El lugar es precioso, está ubicado al lado del valle de la luna, los espacios comunes son muy agradables y la atención es muy buena. Siempre estarán dispuestos a ayudarte y resolver tus dudas. Además, puedes ir con mascotas, lo que es un plus.

Zeer comfortabel 4 persoonshuisje; ruim, goede keuken om zelf te koken, fijne bedden. Privé tuin, met zitje. Lekker zwembad(je) met ligstoelen, om na een activiteit te chillen. Carlos een geweldige eigenaar- praat goed Duits. Goede uitvalsbasis voor vele activiteiten. Je moet wel beschikken over een auto.

Las instalaciones son muy buenas, buen tamaño y comodidad, espacios comunes muy grato y la atención del personal es maravillosa. La encargada administrativa Dayana, es muy amable y cariñosa.

Dayana excelente anfitriona, muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar en todo momento...un agrado conversar con ella...conocimos a su perrito Rudi y el gatito Bigotes, ambos un amor 🥰...El lugar en general, amplio, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias agradables y de relajo, el entorno es precioso y tranquilo... la limpieza 10/10, y las camas super cómodas.

Podrían mejorar el wifi, ya que no llegaba a las habitaciones ☹️

Die Aufteilung der Verschiedenen Apartments ist sehr gut gemacht. Alle haben eine eigene Terrasse und zudem gibt es den grossen Aufenthalzsbereich mit Pool. Abgetrenntem Tischtennis und Tischkicker. Der Pool war immer sehr sauber. Zudem gibt es viele gemütliche Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Leider ist unser Spanisch sehr mangelhaft aber die Verständigung mit Danjana hat sich dank ihrer Bemühungen trotzdem funktioniert. Zudem hatten wir das Glück das der Besitzer auch gut Deutsch spricht und uns über sie Region einiges erzählen konnte. Die Strassen zur Unterkunft sind überhaupt kein Problem. Es gibt viele Gründe hierhin zu kommen.

The property is pretty hard to find--especially in the desert in the dark. It does not have a formal address, and it is not well lit (for good reason--so that you can better enjoy the stars).

Difficult to find in the dark but probably wouldn't have been a problem during the day. Otherwise, SUPER nice, helpful hosts! We left with hugs and best wishes!

Outside the town of San Pedro. Quiet, great view of stars at night. Clean and comfortable rooms and amazing kitchen / shared areas. Owner was lovely, really helpful and always eager to help. Would highly recommend.

Washing machine would be great. Other than that it had everything, no negatives.

Muy buenas instalaciones, excelente atención y preocupación de parte de su dueño Juan Carlos, todo muy limpio, muy buena interacción con los demás pasajeros en los espacios comunes, ya que son bastantes amplios, cómodos y de muy buena calidad, lugar a 5 minutos en auto desde el centro de San Pedro, lo que te garantiza un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro.

The kitchen was huge and it was easy to store food and water in the fridge and reheat as needed. The gate made everything feel very secure overnight and during the day, and the location was nice. It was a bit farther from town so definitely recommend having a car, but it nice and quiet being away from the downtown crowds. The hosts were INCREDIBLE! So helpful, personable, and kind. The room was cleaned each day and we got anything we needed and asked for (although it was only one item I think...they do a great job of thinking of anything you may need).

The personal staff was very nice and friendly, they helped me a lot with questions and everything that I needed. It was the best staff.

It was a bit difficult arrived there if you don’t have a taxi and the wifi worked only in the common areas. And they didn’t put shampoo, conditioner or body wash.

Dayana and Carlos are wonderful hosts, and very attentive to your needs. We loved the private patio that came with our apartment. The pool was very well-maintained and very refreshing at the end of the day.

A toaster and hot water kettle would have made our stay more comfortable.

If you want to be in a quiet and secluded place, this is for you! It is a lovely place, quiet, relaxing, and the staff are very kind. It is 5km outside of the centre of San Pedro de Atacama so you will ideally have a car, otherwise a taxi will need to take you in and out of the centre (make sure your tours know where the accommodation is!). The place is very relaxing and perfect for switching off and looking up at the starts at night.

The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming. Told us about the places to visit. A ton of shared facilities (kitchen with everything you need to cook your own food), swimming pool, hammocks, large common area, parking. We had a wonderful stay!

They don't provide shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own. I always pack mine, so it wasn't a big deal.

O local é ótimo, cozinha bem equipada e ampla, área comum muito agradável, quarto limpo e amplo, tudo novo. Os anfitriões foram impecáveis e muito solícitos! Recomendamos.

I traveled alone but decided to book a 2-bedroom house, and it was the best decision ever. The space was incredibly spacious, airy, and perfect for 'chilling and healing.' The highlight was definitely the view—I could see the Milky Way right from my bedroom window without needing a stargazing tour! The only downside is that it's quite difficult to catch a taxi in this area. However, the host, Juan, was exceptionally helpful. He somehow became my 'accidental driver' for a few days, which truly touched my heart and reminded me of my own father. Both Juan and the young lady there were always eager to help me book transport whenever possible. If you have a rental car, this is absolutely the place to be for the atmosphere and scenery. If I ever return to Atacama, I will definitely stay here again.

Desde el primer momento que pisamos el hostal nos sentimos maravillosamente satisfechos con la elección de nuestro alojamiento. El personal te hace sentir bienvenido y es amable en todo momento, y las instalaciones, muy cómodas, te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda, si repetimos destino, volveremos a este lugar.

The location was perfect. we were looking for a location away from the hustle of the town and this was so quiet and relaxing. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We used the kitchen and made dinner one night and stored our breakfast items in the fridge as well. The host didn't speak much english but was able to communicate very well. We stayed in eight different places on this trip and this was one of our favorites.

The power did go out a couple of times during the day but this seemed normal all over the country so they had it back on shortly both times and ensured us it is normal. Which we experienced in different cities throughout Chile.

We booked the property inclusive of food. However, we were charged 10$ / person day additionally. We were international tourists and were not supposed to be charged 19% VAT in Chile. The property charged us the VAT and also refused to give us invoice for the same.

Las habitaciones son grandes, cómodas, todo nuevo y en excelente estado. Es un lugar muy acogedor y bonito. Muy bueno para ir con niños, la piscina tiene una parte para niños y también hay juegos. Además, sus dueños son muy amables y atentos. Super recomendable! Muchas gracias a sus dueños por todo 💕.

We chose it as it was 3k outside of San Pedro and quiet. Excellent facilities for cabins or the small number of hostel rooms. Excellent small pool and also games rooms for children. Cabins have log fire in winter. BBQ and large outside table well shaded in each cabin. Direction of exactly how to get there were not as good as expected. Non chileans cannot get a Sim now and so no internet. Pictures of the turning off the main road would have helped greatly

Un espacio amplio y bonito. A pesar de no estar en pleno San Pedro, tiene muy buena ubicación para ir en auto y estar en familia, ya que es tranquilo y tiene muy buenas instalaciones. La disposición y amabilidad de la persona a cargo hace que el lugar sea aún más agradable y acogedor.

Podría mejorar la limpieza, en cuanto al retiro de basura diaria.
