Perfect stay for Stanstead. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable. Owners are lovely, its like staying with your grandparents.

The room and en suite was absolutely spotless and the beds incredibly comfy. We really appreciated the option of leaving our car during our holiday and taking a taxi to Stansted which Julie arranged for us. The breakfast options were fantastic and we couldn't believe how varied they were.

The host was lovely and friendly. She provided a vast selection of breakfast and catered for all needs ( Gluten free options). The room was very clean.

The building is old and outdated and very basic.

Close to the airport . Plenty of continental breakfast options if required . Tea/coffee hot chocolate in room . Spotless throughout. Ample parking spaces . Will definitely use again Plenty of hot water for showers .

For a very short stay, we felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed before our holiday. The breakfast room was a very pleasant surprise for us and set us off in a good mood!

Only thing was the room was quite warm, but that’s expected in the middle of a heatwave!

Everything was very convenient, including how breakfast was organised. Also the fact that 4 adults can sleep in 1 room

The room and the bathroom both had an extremely strong perfumed smell. The smell was far to strong, so we had to keep all the curtains and windows open (although it was dark outside and our lights were on)

Close to Stansted for our early flight

The breakfast room was set up for continental breakfast and had something for everyone. There was plenty and a great varied selection.

We arrived around 8:30pm and left early in the morning at around 5:30am. We chose the structure mainly for the position very close to the airport. The host was really welcoing and helpful. She showed us immediatly the breakfast area and told us to help ourselves when we want in order to eat something before living. A perfect place to spend the night if you have an early flight.

Huge selection of breakfast products, and eat/drink as much as you want. The room, although quite small was spotlessly clean, had tea/coffee making facilities, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle, there was a generous supply of towels and it was also very clean.

I was genuinely surprised by how lovely this place was—it exceeded my expectations in every way. The bathroom, in particular, was fantastic. The water pressure and temperature were easy to adjust, the mirrors were adjustable, and there were fluffy, spotless towels in three different sizes. It was the little thoughtful touches like these that really made the stay feel special. Although the room wasn't large, it was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The space was thoughtfully arranged, making it comfortable and practical, and we never felt like we were missing anything. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

A small covered outdoor waste bin would be a welcome addition for guests using the outdoor areas. It would make disposal more convenient while helping maintain the cleanliness of the property.

The hosts had closed all the curtains and there were ceiling fans. Very much appreciated. Totally quiet as well.

The help yourself breakfast was extremely varied but rather sugary and chocolatey.

As always, absolutely ideal for an early flight from Stanstead !! There is ample breakfast which you help yourself to...you can leave the car there whilst you are on holiday, check on the cost per night but not expensive !

Welcoming host. Peaceful, with only birds and wind in the trees on a tranquil evening. Attractive decor with thoughtful facilities in bedroom, including ceiling fan on hot June 26 night. Exceptional choice of breakfast items, available for even the earliest of departures for the airport. In summary, exceptional.

W pełni zasłużone 10/10. Obiekt fantastyczny, wymuskany, dopracowany i przygotowany w każdym calu. Śliczny pokoik z wszystkim, czego potrzebuje podróżnik (kawa w 3 rodzajach, herbata, oczywiście mleko do herbaty, był nawet stojak na walizkę :) Super wygodne łóżka! Wybrałam to miejsce ze względu na bliską odległość od lotniska Stansted i miałam okazję zobaczyć angielską wieś - czysto, cicho i przyjemnie. Śniadanie bardzo dobre z dużym wyborem produktów. Właścicielka bardzo pomocna, bez problemu zamówiła nam taxi na następny dzień. To był bardzo udany pobyt!

Great location near Chelmsford and very easy to find. The room was comfortable and the ceiling fan meant that we had a cool room and so a good night’s sleep. The hosts were welcoming. Breakfast was everything the reviews had mentioned: lots of choice and a flexible meal time.

Ubytovatelé nám vyšli ve všem vstříc a pobyt byl velmi příjemný. Přespali jsme jen jednu noc (potřebovali jsme být blízko letiště), ale vrátili bychom se klidně na delší časový úsek.

Perfect b&b close to the airport. Family run for generations, delightful owners, generous substantial self serve continental breakfast, close to Takeley but in beautiful hamlet. Comfortable beds.

Out of owners control but noisy guests laughing and banging around in room adjacent, until almost midnight.

Bei den Lebensmitteln beim Frühstück war die Mindesthaltbarkeit weit überschritten! Ich vermute sie waren tiefgefroren d.h. sie waren nicht verdorben, aber das ist nicht das was ich erwarte.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet location with easy access to the airport. Appreciated the late check in arrangement and good communication with the owner. Wide selection of breakfast options and overall good value for money.

The breakfast was continental only, self service. Everything was laid out logically. Lots of choice. Very homely, quiet and pleasant. Room was more than adequate, clean, beds comfy, nice and peaceful.

Nothing really to gripe about… perfect if what you need is a quiet retreat to put your head down for a night or two before travelling on (we were flying out of Stanstead next morning)

Ein tolles kleines B&B ganz in der Nähe zum Stanstead Airport (10 Min.). Sehr ruhig und im Grünen gelegen. Super sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Schönes englisches Frühstück. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Empfehlenswert!

It was a really quiet location and we had a good night’s sleep. The beds were comfortable and the extra blankets were appreciated. The bedroom was pleasant and spacious and everything was very clean. The host was very accommodating about arrival and departure times. There were a lot of breakfast options. The B&B is really good value for money. The cheapest taxi is probably Street Cars (booking office at airport and details at B&B) which was £16 from the airport.

Nothing that we disliked. Fresh coffee, and more sugar-free/low sugar/wholemeal options eg sugar-free muesli, natural yogurt, wholemeal bread would make it even better.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, in einer sehr ruhigen und landschaftlich fantastischen Gegend, wir haben dieses Haus wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen gewählt. Der kleine Ort ist entzückend mit einem hervorragenden Pub. Die Liebe zum Detail bei der Ausstattung der Unterkunft, es hat an gar nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeberin hat an alles gedacht, um den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Dann die wunderschönen Handtücher, die tolle Bettwäsche. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Lovely welcome, lovely room and facilities! They've thought of nearly everything, and the room and bed were comfortable. Plus it's in a lovely, rural spot not far from Stansted Airport... which you'd never know as you never hear a single plane.

idealna miejscówka, cisza, spokojna wieś, niecałe 10 minut autobusem z lotniska Stansted (bilet 2,50 funta), potem 15 minut spaceru, państwo właściciele bardzo przyjażni, pozwolili nam zostać do 12:00 (samolot do domu w póżnych godzinach wieczornych), rano pyszne śniadanie, duży wybór różnych smakołyków, na deser owoce, jogurty i drobne ciasteczka; jeśli zajdzie taka potrzeba w przyszłości, na pewno skorzystamy; pokój wygodny, duży, łóżka komfortowe, polecamy!

wspaniały pobyt w angielskim domku na wsi, bardzo sympatyczni właściciele, wygodny, duży pokój, świetne śniadanie z wielkim wyborem różności. Położony na końcu wsi, cisza, spokój, bardzo prosty dojazd z lotniska Stansted, 10 minut jazdy autobusem, bilet 2,50 funta i 15 minut spaceru do celu. A lovely, clean room with an ensuite shower. Very handy for Stansted airport. The breakfast was self serve and covered a multitude of options, cereals, breads, fruit, cheese and yogurts all available.

It was very warm in the room and it was overly perfumed with air freshener, nothing terrible at all, we just opened the window!

We stayed here before an early morning flight. The accommodation was just perfect and our host recommended a superb place to eat, arranged a taxi for us to take us to the airport and allowed us to leave our car here. They were so friendly and welcoming and made an overnight stay into a real addition to our holiday.

La proprietaria è stata davvero molto gentile e accogliente. La struttura vicino all'aeroporto ma suggerisco di prendere un Uber (il taxi ci è costato di più rispetto a quanto ci ha comunicato la Signora della struttura). Per colazione abbiamo preferito un toast alle merendine , ma c'era anche frutta fresca latte e formaggi.

Umidità durante la notte. Mi sono svegliata totalmente fradicia. Suggerisco un deumidificatore.

I stayed with my 16yr old son, before flying out to a sports competition in Germany. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed 👍🏼 great facilities, could use the kitchen area early in the morning for breakfast etc ….lovely little place, would defo recommend & would stay again 😊
