Very happy ,once found the place,we went wrong side of main road.beautiful little place.Left me a beautiful welcoming card.Certainly will book there again.We opened door to find heatpump had been put on for us .

Very clear instructions re door code, parking etc. excellent outdoor lighting for returning in the evening. I liked that there was composting and recycling facilities.

The location was excellent, easy walk to shops, restaurants etc.

I stayed here with my husband and toddler while we were in town for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! The house is beautiful and comfortable with little extras very thoughtfully in place. I was able to prepare meals very easily and the hosts even left a number of lovely toys and books out for my daughter to play with during our stay. We were so appreciative of the extra thought that went into our stay.

Loved our stay at The Castle, what a fabulous place. It has a very nice sunny deck to have a relaxing glass of wine before heading into town for dinner. The Top Pub was a great choice for our dinner. Bed was very comfy, shower was fantastic, hosts had left milk & tea etc , nothing bad to report at all.

Everything felt spacious, from the rooms to the shower. The bed was super comfy. Loved all the thoughtful touches. Everything you could need for a short, or even slightly longer stay, was there! We had a lovely stay and would love to go back.

Great location close to the centre of town, no traffic noise as it was double glazed and one street back from the main road, full kitchen (including full size oven) so we could go shopping at the supermarket, great place to use as a base to explore the area

Lovely private space with personal touches from the host. Clean and well maintained with easy access. We visited the restaurant recommended by the host which was fantastic.

Only downside is that it's a little far from the village to walk - 10-15mins. But there's plenty of parking nearby so it didn't matter.

Easy as - had code provided to us by owners to gain entry. Simple instructions provided.

The property is very spacious, has a cute little outdoor space to sit on a sunny warm day. It is very nicely decorated, has a good equipped kitchen, is in a calm neighborhood and 15min walking distance from town.

Well equipped apartment, easy to park and a short walk into town. Unit is warm and comfortable, and we would definitely return. We had no direct contact with the hosts, but did receive a message advising that if we had any problems they would be happy to help - we had no problems at all. It is a great place to stay.

The weather was not the best but definitely cannot blame the hosts for that! There was nothing that we did not like.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Walking distance to pubs, cafes and shops, this little haven is tucked behind a house on a lovely quiet street. The place was clean and tidy, and everything looked fresh and new. We also loved the sustainable products that were used.

Beautiful decor and quality furnishings. Very spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was a cold evening, and the place was warm on my arrival which was nice. I had a Teams meeting online and the owners were very lovely and accommodating, letting me stay longer past my checkout time. Great stay and close to town for an easy walk to the local establishments.

With late check-in, the hosts insured the heating was on, as well as the external lights, so I could find my way in the dark. On entry, I was presently greeted by a beautifully decorated and comfortable place to rest after long days at work. I will return for sure. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for weary travelers and holiday makers. The shower is heaven, and the bed is super comfortable with all general amenities available. Thank you 😊

Lots of gadgets and generally clean . Just let down by bedding.

Old pillows and quilt cover heavy duty which I found itchy and dusty. A simpler cotton cover would have been far more comfortable.

I absolutely loved the shower omg the best thing a dairy farmer needs with a sore back I was heaven. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable and big. The flowers were a cute touch everything was there that you needed.

The cabin was new and well appointed, it had everything we needed. We appreciated the pamphlets and magazines about attractions in the area.

We would have liked a spare set of towels. We were there for 3 nights and would have liked to change the towels after 2 nights. The hosts did not appear to live onsite and we felt that it would be a fuss to contact them. Also could not find a tea towel in the cabin. Both relatively minor things.

The Castle was perfect for my 3 night break. It was clean, cosy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and the location was fantastic.

The mattress was quite firm which is not my preference - but this wasn’t an issue.

close to every thing I needed (including the cafe!) Great to have cooking facilities, dishwasher, warmth, and even Netflix on a rainy afternoon! Nice and private. And I appreciated the little extras like flowers in the vase.
