It had authentic Italian feel, the property was beautiful, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic.

Our air conditioning wasn’t fantastic but it was also very hot in Italy at that time. Really everything was fantastic!

A mesence kicsi volt és a parkolás kissé körülményes, de megoldották a csomagjaink feljuttatását is.

Das Hotel hat eine wundervolle Lage. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich perfekt um die Gäste. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Der Pizza Abend Mittwochs ist super. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel

Bijzondere plek. Ruime kamer met goede airco. Transfer omhoog/omlaag dmv cool rood autootje, direct beschikbaar. Ontbijt/restaurant erg goed.

Beetje gedateerd allemaal, wat ook wel bij de stijl past. Zwembad piepklein met weinig zitruimte.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij villa Sermolli. Het is rustig, de locatie is prachtig, het ontbijt is goed en het appartement is ruim. Echt een aanrader!

Very pretty location

Very tired! We stayed in an apartment, the fridge was dirty and smelt of off milk. The apartment smelt musty and really need a good clean and upgrade! When I went to check out I was told I would have come back in an hour as she was just sitting down to eat. Breakfast was perfectly okay apart from the sachets of Macdonalds sauces !! Photo attached! Chairs and tables stacked up in walk ways. A big no from me.

O lugar é lindo e tem uma história muito interessante.

Estava muito ansiosa para me hospedar aqui, foi onde mais investimos durante essa viagem. Porém, a cama é extremamente desconfortável. Depois de mudarmos de hotel umas 5x esperávamos que pelo valor pago teríamos mais conforto, mas a cama é tão ruim que saímos com dor nas costas.

The villa is truly beautiful everywhere you look it looks like a postcard. The staff was helpful, in our room the mini bar wasn’t working and they changed it in 15min.

The pool area was disappointing. Poll is very small and there were only 4 sun-beds available. The first night we got dinner at the restaurant and the food was not good. We took grilled seafood and it was very disappointing. But the restaurant terrace itself and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Also we had room on the top floor and even with AC running to full speed it was pretty hot inside. Overall I would say the place is nice if you spend the whole day travelling and then enjoy the terrace for some drinks at night. Just maybe for the price of the hotel you would expect a bit more.

El dormitorio correcto, el colchón para nuestro gusto muy duro y las almohadas súper extraplanas. Estaría bien que quitaran las telarañas de la habitación 😏

Die Frühstücks-Crew ist noch nahezu die gleiche, wie früher. Absolut top und mit viel Liebe wird hier gearbeitet. Namen kann/möchte ich hier nicht nennen - aber die Dame, die auch für die Vorbereitung des Pizza-Abends verantwortlich ist - sie ist mit Gold nicht aufzuwiegen! Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen - hier können sich andere Mitglieder des Teams eine riesige Scheibe abschneiden (dazu mehr in der weiteren Bewertung). Der Umstrukturierung hin zur Effizienz fiel leider ein wenig die Gemütlichkeit zum Opfer. Neue Zimmer kamen hinzu (von denen wir auch eins bekommen haben). Auf die angesprochenen "Mängel" hat sich Martin (der Eigentümer) umgehend persönlich bei uns gemeldet. Das zeugt von wahrer Größe und zeigt, wie sehr ihm das Wohl der Gäste am Herzen liegt! Ein feiner Zug, der mich dazu bewogen hat, die ursprüngliche Bewertung anzupassen. Frühstücks-Auswahl: Top Lage/Aussicht: Top Staff (größtenteils): Top Eigentümer: Top

Man muss bei dieser objektiven Bewertung etwas weiter ausholen… Wir waren schon einmal Gäste in der Villa Sermolli - das war allerdings VOR der Umstrukturierung bzw. VOR des "Umbaus". Und damals (2024) war es absolut TOP, weshalb wir hier noch einmal gebucht haben. Die jetzige Struktur hat aber leider nicht mehr viel mit der damaligen Ausrichtung gemeinsam. Und es ist sehr schade, für den Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Villa, lediglich 7 Punkte vergeben zu können. Unser "Superior"-Zimmer entpuppte sich als normales Classic-Zimmer - bezahlt haben wir aber für ein Superior-Zimmer (wurde bzw. wird ab sofort berücksichtigt). Beim ersten Regen fiel dann direkt auf, dass die Tür zur PRIVATEN Terrasse undicht war (Zimmer 103). Das Classic-Zimmer (und das war es definitiv), wurde "aufgewertet" durch eine PRIVATE Terrasse, wie sie uns beim Betreten des Zimmers (Classic) angepriesen wurde. Privat war es leider nicht…Nicht nur, dass dauernd irgendwelche anderen Gäste des Hotels auf unserer PRIVATEN Terrasse auftauchten…nein…auch der Weg an der Terrasse (und somit auch an unserem Zimmer) vorbei, war besonders für einen jungen Kellner interessant. Dieser besagte Kellner war besonders spannend - und das bezieht sich nicht auf seinen interessanten Charakter…nein - er war einfach nur ein Spanner, der ungeniert immer wieder in unser Zimmer geguckt hat. Nicht nur ein flüchtiger, verirrter Blick - nein…ganz bewusst hat er immer wieder in unser Zimmer gespannt! Besagter Kellner war es dann auch, der einem als zahlender Gast immer wieder zu verstehen gegeben hat, dass man ihn eigentlich nervt und er keine Lust auf Freundlichkeit hat. An Überheblichkeit, Unfreundlichkeit und absoluter Dreistigkeit war der Bursche nicht zu überbieten - so einen Unsympathen haben wir noch nie erlebt! Dank seiner SPANNENDEN Tätigkeit, hat man sich (besonders meine Frau) den Großteil des Aufenthalts einfach nur maximal unwohl gefühlt.

Ce n’est pas compliqué, j’ai absolument tout aimé!!! Le lieux, la bâtisse principale et les annexes sont somptueux! Nous avons dormi dans la maisonnette, tout était parfait, une vue magnifique, propre et spacieux! D’un calme extraordinaire. Le petit déjeuner, le restaurant pour déjeuner ainsi que celui du soir était aussi parfait, qualité, choix et service parfait! Une vue à couper le souffle matin, midi et le soir 🤩🤩🤩 Mais le plus gros point positif, qui nous a rendu le séjour parfait, reste ❤️LE SERVICE DU PERSONNEL❤️, que ce soit les serveurs ou le personnel de l’hôtel ils ont été extraordinaires! Et je tiens tout particulièrement à remercier la dame qui s’occupe de toutes vos demandes par whatsapp, elle a été fabuleuse!🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌 Si vous cherchez un endroit calme et reposant en Italie, n’hésitez pas, c’est ici qu’il faut aller!!!!!!

❌Aucun point négatif❌

Extremt vackert, lugnt och skönt. Fantastiskt utsikt. God mat i restaurangen, bra frukost i fantastiskt miljö. Fina växter. Vissa av personalen var supertrevliga och fixade lunch till oss fast klockan var 14:30. Elena i receptionen pratar perfekt svenska!

Lite dåligt tryck i kranarna. Det var allt.

This property we will always remember. Our apartment was big and full of lovely details. The windows were modern, but still authentic. The view was stunning. Our private terrace was a big bonus. The kids loved the pool. There were few sundbeds, but more sunbeds in the garden. Best of all: the terrace for dinner. What a view with lovely surroundings! The breakfast was really good.

Zeer lekker eten, zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten. Hier eten is een aanrader. Veel beter ga je niet vinden in de directe omgeving.

Wij verbleven in de periode van 40°. Airco blies alleen maar wat lucht rond. Een technieker heeft dit nagekeken maar zonder veel succes. Dit mag en kan niet in een 4sterren hotel, hier moet onmiddellijk een andere oplossing voor worden geboden.

Le personnel est vraiment gentil, le restaurant excellent avec une vue magnifique! Propreté impeccable. Possibilité de laisser les vélos électriques en securité.

Le seul défaut est l'acoustique, mais comme l'hôtel est calme et très petit, ce n'est pas vraiment un problème

L'endroit est merveilleux, dans les hauteurs, et très authentique. L'appartement était très beau et confortable, avec une grande terrasse privative idyllique. Le restaurant est délicieux avec une superbe vue. Petite piscine mais très agréable à l'heure du petit déjeuner.

L'accès est un peu difficile avec les valises, il manque peut être de place de parking. Rien à voir avec l'hôtel mais les moustiques sont très agressifs le soir sur la terrasse... Il manque peut être de place autour du lavabo pour poser les affaires.

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at Villa Sermolli for our Honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel had beautiful views with many quiet places to sit around the villa. We enjoyed the pool (which was very near our room) and sitting on the terrace in the evenings. Breakfast was exceptional and we also enjoyed the meals we had in the restaurant with incredible sunset views. We also liked how we could walk to and from the station and get to Lucca, Florence and Monetcatini Terme for day trips (down hill, steep uphill 15minute walk on the way back but they picked us up on arrival). We loved that there was a complete mix of nationalities staying. If you want an alternative to the excellent hotel restaurant walk into town- find authentic local cuisine at La Taverna del Vin Vino, for excellent pizza surrounded by locals go to Pizzeria Aurora!

We loved walking to other villages but it was too hot for long walks for most of our stay (we want to come back in the future in a cooler month). An extra mirror in the room would be useful

L’hôtel est très joli et typiquement toscane, sur une colline dans un tout petit village. Il faut un véhicule pour visiter les alentours ou dîner à l’extérieur. La chambre était spacieuse, coquette et très propre. Le jardin et les espaces petits déjeuners et dîners en extérieur sont magnifiques. Le personnel est très serviable et chaleureux. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien et le restaurant également pour un bon rapport qualité prix. Un excellent séjour.

La piscine est petite et seulement quelques transats qui sont occupés en permanence. Je n’ai malheureusement pas pu en profiter. Ce n’est pas vraiment la faute de l’établissement… un peu de courtoisie de la part de tous permettrait à chacun de pouvoir en profiter ! Beaucoup d’allemands et de nord européens en ce mois de juillet

Paradiesisches Hotel. Anlage ist terrassenförmig angelegt und bietet so viele verschiedene Bereiche, ob zum Essen, zum Trinken, zum Schlafen, Sonnen oder Baden. Es wird gehalten, was versprochen wird. Personal sehr freundlich. Ferienwohnung in authentischem Stil und großzügig. Gute Küche, tolles Frühstück. Unser Aufenthalt war ein Erlebnis!

It was beautiful, nice views from terraces, cool pool, comfortable beds, and tasty breakfast and pasta for lunch and dinner! The resort staff was helpful, they were super nice and picked us up in their quad and brought us to train station on our last day.

We had some ants in our apartment, our server at the restaurant was kinda forgetful, and the hot tub didn’t heat up.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer verbinden den charmanten Stil einer klassischen Altbauvilla mit modernisierten Badezimmern. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, die gesamte Anlage wunderschön gepflegt und der Service hervorragend. Alle Gastgeberinnen und Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich und auch das Restaurant hat uns überzeugt. Als kleine Anmerkung: Die Betten sind recht hart, was aber sicherlich Geschmackssache ist. Außerdem ist der Poolbereich eher klein, allerdings fällt das durch die großzügige Außenanlage kaum ins Gewicht. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!

We thoroughly enjoy everything about this hotel; its our fifth visit over the past few years, and each stay has been exceptional. The view from the restaurant terrace is truly stunning, and the food, along with the staff, is wonderful. It feels more like staying in a beautiful home than a typical hotel. We are certainly looking forward to returning.

Очень понравилась вилла, размещение и очень доброжелательный, внимательный персонал! Мы приехали в 15.00, и не смотря на то, что ресторан работает до 14.00 нас покормили! Мы останавливались с йорком, не было никакого дискомфорта, остались очень довольны, рекомендую это место!

The apartment was great and perfect for our stay of 4 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was good in the amazing courtyard, but we dinner was not as expected but we think it's due to the fact there was an event at the same time. For the rest everything was good!

Die Villa Sermolli liegt traumhaft am Berg und man hat einen tollen Blick ins Tal und in die Ferne. Das Abendessen wird auf der oberen Terrasse serviert und ist super frisch und sehr lecker. Das Personal ist unschlagbar freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Leider ist man in Sachen Instandhaltung zurückgeblieben. In unserem Zimmer haben Eckfliesen gefehlt, Feuermelder war nicht in der Halterung vorhanden. Abgeplatzer Putz, Risse, lose Dielen usw. Schade um das schöne Anwesen....

Nettes Willkommen, wir waren aber nur für 1 Nacht auf der Weiterreise .

I stayed for a wedding and it is a truly beautiful location. The staff were incredible- so kind and helpful. The golf buggy to take us up and down the hill was so useful.

Wunderschönes, altes Gemäuer, liebevoll hergerichtete Zimmer, faszinierende Gartenlandschaft.

Das Pool ist nicht besonders groß, ist jedoch vom Platz her nicht anders möglich. Es gibt aber genug Schirme und Liegen.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, nur leider viel zu kurz. Wir müssen wiederkommen.

Prachtige ligging, prachtige villa

Toplocatie. Het op-en-top Toscane-gevoel. Prachtig historisch pand. En wat een service (ze komen je valiezen halen buiten het dorp).

Het uitzicht is fantastisch. De kamer is mooi groot evenals de badkamer. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. De tuin is schitterend met prachtige bloemen.

Aan het eind van de middag wordt het eten voorbereid en dringt de etenslucht de kamer binnen. De ramen kan je niet meer open doen en de stank blijft hangen tot de volgende ochtend, het is echt misselijkmakend. Voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn is het een ramp. Engels echtpaar moest een andere accommodatie boeken in verband met de vele trappen. Bij het zwembad staan 4 ligbedden wat erg weinig is voor zo’n 22 kamers. Geen 4 sterren accommodatie.

The staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere and always relaxing. We dined twice on the wonderful terrace. Superb food. Great attentive service and amazing atmospheric views over the Tuscan hills.

It would have been good to have tea / coffee facilities in the room.

Die Lage und der Blick ins Tal traumhaft - die Zimmer sind super schön - Terrasse, Frühstück, Abendessen auf verschieden Ebenen am Hang - alles blüht und duftet - diese Unterkunft ist top mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Beautiful place, full of history and hidden nooks. The staff was beyond helpful and kind and the facilities, especially breakfast and dinner patios are incredible. 100% recommendation, we will definitely be back.

Sehr schöne modernisierte und dennoch antike großzügige zimmer. Licht Konzept durchdacht. Zum lunch kleine Karte aber ok ( denn in der Umgebung gibts nichts ) Abendessen und Frühstück war sehr gut u vielseitig. Haben im wunderschönen Garten zwischen Zitronenbäumen Frühstücken können mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit Blick und angenehmer Ambiente

It is a beautiful place! The Hotel, the room, the views, the garden, the nature!!! It was breathtaking. And also amazing service and the restaurant. It is an experience to stay here! We didn’t want to leave since the place is so pretty!

The room! I never stayed in a room like that, the painted walls, the furniture! The view from the room! It all created an amazing atmosphere! And all the plants outside, in the garden! Wow!

Rewelacyjne miejsce, przepiękne otoczenie, ale sam obiekt zdecydowanie przewyższa oczekiwania. Obsługa jest na najwyższym poziomie, cudowne wnętrza, wszystko czyste, zadbane, klimatyczne. Jedzenie w restauracji bardzo pyszne, z dbałością o każdy szczegół. Prawdziwa Toskania, zdecydowanie polecam.

The property was exceptional. Views were amazing … with so much to explore. The pool was open in May which was a win for us with the kids. The staff went above and beyond and were very kind to the children. Super informative and very welcoming. The room its self was very large, beautifully decorated in a traditional style with a little Italian flair. The entire property couldn’t be cleaner. The food again was top notch and breakfast which was included had a delicious fresh selection. Thanks so much team.

The light shade that’s off centre in the dining area of the room. As a lanky tall person I smashed my head on it many times… which a me problem but would be good it could be shifted over to be positioned above the table. But so minor!

Tutto molto curato e rilassante

Hotel grande, bem antigo, mas muito bem conservado. Café da manhã muito bom, com coisas frescas e locais, num ambiente delicioso.

Nosso quarto era meio apertado e o banheiro também. Funcionários educados, mas não senti a mesma hospitalidade dos outros lugares onde ficamos na Itália.

Colazione eccezionale. Personale super cordiale.
