Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in einer komplett ausgestatteten Unterkunft mit vielen Extras: Sauna, Ruderboot, Grill, Terrasse, kleiner Fernseher. Die Lage ist perfekt, man denkt, man schläft mitten im See, sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber haben uns eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung gegeben.

Drei Sachen, die man einfach vor der Buchung wissen sollte: Der Anfahrtsweg hat viele Schlaglöcher, vorsichtig fahren vor allem, wenn es schon dunkel wird. Man kann selbst Bettwäsche mitbringen und Endreinigen, wenn nicht zahlt man noch mal einige Euro in Cash. Das Bett ist recht klein. Aber, es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt.

The cottage was amazing, located in a very quiet and calm place surrounded by the lake. What we really liked was that three of the four sides of the house were surrounded by the water of the lake, and visible from all the windows, including in the sauna. We used it as base for visiting Oulanka National Park and it was great to come back and relax outside and in the sauna after hiking. Inside the house is very comfortable and cozy and you will find everything you need for your staying here. Definitely recommended, hope to come back again!

Mökki rauhallisella sijainnilla niemennokassa. Lyhyt matka Kuusamon keskustaan.

Petri et Anne étaient très disponibles et soucieux que notre séjour se passe bien. Le lieu est superbe, entouré de lac et le chalet est confortable.

Ainoa miinus oli, että varasin vain kahdeksi päiväksi, kun tuolla olisi kyllä viihtynyt

Geweldige accommodatie, aan alles is gedacht door eigenaar Petri. Van kaasschaaf tot vaatwasblokjes, alles ligt klaar bij aankomst. Toplocatie: heerlijk privé aan het einde van een schiereiland. Je loopt zo het bevroren meer op. We hebben tijdens ons verblijf niemand gezien en hadden een privéshow van het Noorderlicht. Magisch. Ontwijk het massatoerisme en boek dit heerlijke huisje. Dikke aanrader!

We are birdwatchers and the location of the house is perfect for visiting all the good birdingsites around Kuusamo. And the place itself is also good for looking for waterbirds. The house is very clean, comfortable and cosy..

The cabin is at an excellent location at the end of a peninsula with a lake on both sides. Perfectly clean with all amenities, nice shower and sauna. A perfect place for the winter and probably also for the summer.

This is a lovely cozy cabin situation right beside a lake. There was parking right outside the cabin which made getting our luggage into the cabin very easy. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and also had an amazing sauna which felt sooo good on those very cold nights. The cabin also has a fireplace. The beds are really comfortable. Checking in was simple and our host was very helpful with the necessary instructions. This cabin had strong wifi which allowed us to keep in touch with our online friends.

Lovely wooden cottage pretty much in the middle of the lake. Wonderful location around 10km from Kuusamo. With sauna, fireplace and even a boat that you can use in summer. Must come back at a little bit warmer period and try out all the options next time. Kiitos!

The location was fantastic! Though there we heard other guests, we didn't really see them as we had our own private dock and rowboat, as well as barbeque area. It was about a 45 minute drive to the national park for hiking, and the cabin was cozy with blackout curtains to help with sleep and screens on the windows to keep the inside mosquito-free.
