Reviewed Sep 7, 2026The host was very kind and helpful after a day at a funeral. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless, ensuite shower and bathroom perfect. To top it off the hosts beautiful artwork in the room was an added bonus. Surrealist and similar in style to Dali but maybe with a more optimistic feel. Exactly what I needed.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Such a pretty place in a quiet location. Need a car as other than pub, nothing in walking distance. Large property & a clothesline to dry washing (there was also a washer & dryer). Well set up room with share fridge in foyer. Owners chatted & made us feel welcome.

There is nothing much in Ballyedmond, just a simple chip shop. The pub closed down a few years ago. That probably will not bother most people though.

Zu kleines Bad mit schlechtem Wasserdruck für Dusche und WC- Spülung! Leider nur 2 Hocker und ein kleiner Tisch zum Essen am Zimmer. Zwei richtige Stühle und ein ordentlicher Tisch wäre von Vorteil, wenn man schon kein Frühstück anbietet.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2025I have repeat my stay in Bottega, and I have tried another room as the other one was booked. Big room with twin beds, and really spacious sofa. I really enjoyed working in the desktop with my laptop. The bathroom is upstairs, but is really spacious as well, it has shower and a big bath. Rose and Valeriu and their kids are always caring for everything. Their muffins and coffee are just the best I have ever tried in Ireland. The garden is beautiful, and I have walked around, relaxing my mind and soul. Highly recommend. There is a Pub and fish and chips just crossing the road. Just beautiful and perfect.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2025We were travelling with our two children so we had two rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. House well located for travelling around Wexford. The owners were friendly. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Nice garden and dog friendly.
There was breakfast cereal provided and milk when we requested it. I was a bit surprised that the dishes we used the first morning were not cleared away.

Hay dos gatitos preciosos en la casa. Nos ofrecieron adaptadores para enchufes, que no llevábamos. Nos dieron conversación agradable en el salón. Está en un sitio perfecto para descansar. Cero ruidos. Y, si quieres un poco de marcha, en la esquina hay un bar con música.
Todo fue perfecto.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2024Very comfortable staying with my dog. The owners are so kind & helpful. The room is on the side of the house, so you have your privacy. The shower is strong & hot, and I was served a delicious breakfast with porridge & fruit. Strong internet, was able to work from there too. There is a lovely forest/beach walk, about 20minutes drive away. Really happy to stay here again. Thank you!
