I loved my stay at Dontrei Villa Angkor. The rooms, gardens and swimming pool were all beautiful, and the staff were lovely. The food was fairly average, but everything else was wonderful. It is a little outside Siem Reap, but that was one of the things I liked most—it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Bungalow avec 2 chambres, terrasse et piscine privées sans compter la cuisine au rdv donc de l’espace / Construction à la cambodgienne (traditionnel/sur pilotis) / dans un environnement très verdoyant - très calme car éloignement du tumulte de la ville de Siem Reap / équipement correct / très très propre / piscine privée propre et agréable / restauration bonne malgré peu de diversité pour les boissons fruitées.

Environnement un peu trop fermé : pas de vue notable sur l’extérieur, sur la campagne.

My partner and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, strongly reminding us of Bali-style villas. Huge respect to the owners for preserving the cultural heritage of this place. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very spacious. The territory is well-maintained and regularly treated for insects, which is a huge plus. It is very quiet here. While it’s not right in the center, you can easily get there in 10-15 minutes by tuk-tuk. There is a restaurant on-site, but you can also easily order delivery straight to the villa—everything arrives fresh and fast.

Het personeel was super gastvriendelijk en behulpzaam. Daarbij was het verblijf ontzettend mooi!

De accomodatie was niet helemaal ‘afgesloten’ bij de muren waardoor er veel beestjes binnen kwamen. Gelukkig kregen we wel een fijne klamboe die de beestjes buiten het bed hield.

항상 느끼지만 거리가 멀어요 ㅠㅠ 오토바이 렌트를 추천합니다. 호텔에서 빌리면 비싸니 시내에서 빌려오기. 우기라 벌레가 좀 많아요.

It was beautiful and serene. So lush with all the trees and plants around. I loved the private pool as well as the big shared one.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in una villa con piscina privata. La camera era fantastica, non potevamo desiderare di meglio. Anche la struttura è veramente bella, immersa nel verde con 2 piscine comuni. Dista circa 15 minuti dal centro. Staff molto gentile. Possibilità di esplorare la zona con i loro driver, per risparmiare e per aiutare anche i lavoratori locali. In particolare raccomando Sarath che ci ha portato in giro, fantastico.

Colazione buona ma porzioni piccole.

La piscine privée est trop cool et l'eau est fraîche. Lit super confortable. Établissement très charmant

Pas très isolé aux bruits.. La maison à côté de nous logeais 6 amis qui ont fait la fête tous les soirs jusqu'à 3h du matin, et le personnel n'a rien dit. Des enfants jouaient dans la piscine partagé, centrale dès 6h du matin. Certes il fait chaud assez tôt, mais pour se reposer c'était pas super... Prévoir des bouchons d'oreilles

Accommodation is marvelous. It is like being located in the middle of the private jungle with extremely clean and bugs free environment, thanks to the staff who are constantly working to make it like that. Rooms are great, really bringing feeling of luxury in the past. Pools and the whole setup are incredible.

If I would be forced to pick one thing, it would be location. It is a bit off site from the city but you are there in 10-15 min with tuc-tuc who are also always around the compound so it is not a huge miss since you will enjoy sounds of nature and have calmer surroundings during night.

Ruhig und abseits gelegen,, Restaurants, Geschäfte und Innenstadt nur per TukTuk erreichbar (ca 15 Min vom Old Market entfernt, $3), ca 1h 30 Min per TukTuk vom Flughafen entfernt ($25). Frühstück a la Carte (all you can eat), aber sehr gut und reichlich. Ausflüge übers Hotel gebucht, zB Angkor Small Circle Tour (Tuktuk für 1 Tag, $20) oder Tonle Sap See (Tuktuk $20, nur Transport). Alles in allem ein schöner Bungalow, gutes WiFi, gute AC, schöner eigener Pool mit Whirlpool Funktion, sehr geräumig, Wasserkocher, tägliche Reinigung. Essen im Hotel gut und günstig.

Der TV hat nicht funktioniert, die Nachbarn waren oft bis spätabends laut (Jungstruppe), dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts. Das einzige Manko an dieser Unterkunft war das Bad, für diesen wunderschön hergerichteten Bungalow mit eigenem Pool eine Schande, eine kleine Nasszelle mit fleckigen Wänden und 0 Ablageplatz.

When I informed the staff (9pm) she said "oh ok sorry about that" I asked if she understood well and what am I supposed to do, the reply was: "Nothing" - I asked for late check out (13:00 instead of 12:00) and while the room wasn’t book after (I’ve checked with the staff), the proposal was to pay an extra 50% of the room price - The overall place deserves a better maintenance: garden not well maintained, door of my room was a bit broken, cleaning is not good

Sur le service massage: - il n’y a pas d’espace de massage? A part en chambre. - aucune possibilité de se faire masser après avoir rendu la chambre. C’est pour vous et pour nous anti-commercial.

Es un lugar hermoso! Nuestra habitación era amplia y la decoración era muy linda. Los espacios del hotel son preciosos, todo da mucha paz, al estar lejos del centro no hay ruidos por lo que es ideal para descansar, además tiene restaurante por lo que no necesitas salir a comer todos los días (vimos algunos comentarios que decían que era caro, pero la verdad los precios nos parecieron bastante bien para estar dentro del mismo hotel y ahorrar el viaje al centro después de pasar todo el día caminando por los templos). Afuera del hotel hay tuk tuk estacionados, puedes arreglar con uno de sus conductores si quieres ir al centro, normalmente te van a buscar luego y te llevan a todos los lugares que quieras. Para los tour por los templos, en el hotel hay una tabla con los precios del tuk tuk dependiendo de lo que quieras ver. Nuestro universo arrepentimiento fue no pasar más días en este hotel. Respecto a la insonorización de las habitaciones, nos quedamos en la habitación nupcial y no escuchamos absolutamente nada durante la noche, las paredes son de concreto.

One of the most beautiful places where I have ever stayed. Designed with exquiste taste, this place is an oasis in the suburbs of Siem Reap.

The place is quite far from the city center, like a 20-30 minutes tuk tuk ride. But if you plan to focus on Angkor Wat and have a shorter visit in the city center, this shouldn't really matter.

Location favolosa, camere bellissime, area piscina e giardino stupendi. Personale gentile.

La qualità del ristorante (per colazione e altri pasti) non è all'altezza della struttura. Per trovare altri ristoranti o caffè bisogna andare a siem reap.

Le bungalow avec sa piscine privative est incroyable. Le personnel et les piscines de l’hôtel font leur charme. Possibilité de faire laver son linge et de louer un scooter directement sur place. Le calme du lieu est parfait et proche 15 min du temple Angkor Wat..

Sehr unfreundlich schon fast abfällig. Man hat sich als gast nicht wohlgefühlt, eher das gefühl auf Schmitt und written beobachtet zu werden. Servicepersonal war ok aber front desk managerin sehr unfreundlich.. Beim Kühlschrank Im Zimmer wurde stecker raus gezogen nach einer nacht um wohl den barbetrieb anzukurbeln. Mit toller aussicht wird geworben. Jedoch schaut man auf bleche und hinterhöfe. Der platz zwischen Haus/Zimmer und hotelmauer Wird als sperrmüllablage genutzt. Gar nicht zu wmpfehlen. Überall in cambodia waren unterkûnfte gut bis aussergewöhnlich.Das hier sollte ein schõner Abschluss werden hat sich aber als grosse enttäuschung entpuppt. Schade.

El lloc és màgic, et perds entre la seva verdor, la piscina, i unes habitacions molt treballades, i còmodes. Amb aire acondicionat i ventilador. Tenen 3 cascades. Un lloc de relax i perfecte per després de les visites als temples.

Crec que el menjar del restaurant és molt bo però pel preu les quantitats un pel justes, si tens preus equvalents a Londres o Barcelona almenys posa quantitat. Millorable.

Dans l’ensemble tout etait parfait, la chambre avec piscine privee est fabuleuse ! La terrasse est isolée et vous vous sentez vraiment tres a l’aise, la chambre est spacieuse avec tous les équipements nécessaires, la clim fonctionne bien et la moustiquaire est bien pratique ! Personnel tres gentil et soucieux ! Le jardin de l’hotel avec ses deux piscines est juste magnifique, on se croirait dans la jungle !

Emplacement un peu éloigné du centre ville (20 minutes a scooter des lieux d’intérêt du centre ville et 20-30 minutes des temples) nous le savions avant de reserver donc cela ne nous a pas derangé, de plus conduire un scooter a siem reap est tres agreable ! Le restaurant est cher pour les portions servies, nous avons pris 2 sandwichs avec des frites et un jus de pastèque lors de notre dernier soir et ca nous a couté 23$ sois le double de la plupart des restaurants en ville… Par contre les sandwiches etaient tres bon, mais ca aurait pu etre plus généreux (seulement 10 frites dans la portion 😂)

This property is beautifully hidden behind unassuming walls. You enter into a rich lush jungle atmosphere, with the sound of the waterfalls, the dark woods and rustic clean designs. The inside of the rooms are beautiful, well designed and clean. The staff are attentive, friendly and kind. They are ready to help and are adaptable.

Dinner menus reads great but personally was not a fan of the fish options as all fish over smoked and felt like croutons.

Beautifully designed resort, creative, colourful. Like a little oasis with a pool and wayervfeature. Room was beautiful, good facilities and massive bed. Staff were very helpful as we arrived at 5.30 a.m and checked out at 5.pm the next day and they made us comfortable. Highly Recommend.

Nothing. A way out of town but grab tuktuks are easy and we liked being in a quieter more rural area.

I picked this place for the unique vibe, nature, and for being away from the noise and hassling of the city. It perfectly did its job! Couldn't have picked a better place in SR. The vibe is just so calming, the place is beautiful and comfy, and the food is great. They also have tuc tuc service always available, so they can take you anywhere you want at any time.

Nothing bad. Sometimes the staff wouldn't perfectly understand English, but that's totally normal anywhere in SR.

I love the preservation and restoration efforts by the owner to restore original Khmer houses and repurpose into very comfortable accommodation. The grounds have also been beautifully planted. I felt like I had stepped into an oasis. The staff are also so welcoming and lovely.

Všechno bylo v naprostém pořádku. Pobývali jsme s rodinou 3 noci a nemůžeme si absolutně na nic stěžovat. Personál milý a pozorný. Ubytování krásné a čisté. Hotel půjčí jak kola, tak i skútry - a to za pár peněz. :)

L’hotel est super sympa avec 2 piscines, les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et le personnel a l’écoute et au petit soin.

L’eau de la douche avait tendance à couper parfois rendant l’eau pas disponible et il fallait attendre une 15 aine de minutes pour que l’equ revienne

The food was fantastic!! Seriously, the Amok and Khmer delight for dessert...YES! The overall stay was perfect minus all the frogs in my bathroom...but hey it is to be expected in that environment, and the staff removed them when I told them. The pool was nice, the ambience and peacefulness of the property is great! The tuk tuk driver is very nice as well and lives near the property, which is convenient.

The activities they offer are expensive. I found deals on my own as a solo traveler, even private options as well with a lower cost. But no real complaints because I figured it all out!

The whole history behind this project is great - restoring and keeping history alive- set around pools that are just wonderful. Out of the centre but we liked that as it was quiet and relaxing and only 15 mins by Tuk Tuk (3 -4 dollars each way) The food was nice but a little bit more expensive that the town but still great value due to the cost if living in cambodia

De tuin met zwembad was lekker en gezellig en inrichting kamer top. Personeel zoals overal in Cambodja erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Onze kamer de “bruidssuite” lag aan de weg als je in bed lag leek het alsof het verkeer over je heen raasde. Waarschijnlijk is de weg nog niet zo lang geleden aangelegd en lag het eerst mooi in het groen. Kamers erg gehorig je kan letterlijk de buren woord voor woord verstaan. Zeer harde bedden! Complex voelt benauwd aan is veel kleiner dan op foto’s te zien is. Veel schaduw en weinig zon en continu een “waterval” die erg veel lawaai maakt. Restaurant eten slecht, prijzig en duurt erg lang. Al met al jammer want ligging is prima net buiten de drukte van de stad.

The hotel was beautiful and very tranquil. The room was spacious with everything required for a comfortable stay. The bug netting on the bed was welcomed. Check in was easy. The pool was superb, although more sun loungers perhaps. This hotel is 15 minute Tuk Tuk ride out of town but is a welcome sanctuary from the busy centre

The staff could do with learning a little more English. Ordering 2 coffees seemed very difficult even when using sign language and pointing to the menu. The bath was a little uncomfortable and not as romantic as it seems. Housekeeping was quite late, late afternoon, which meant after returning from day trips I didn’t want to wait for the bed to be changed and so asked them to leave the room as it was.

L’authenticité.

La villa avec « piscine privée » n’est pas vraiment privée, car séparée au dernier moment du jardin privé via un claustra mal installé au dernier moment par le personnel. LE REPAS DU SOIR, une heure et demi d’attente pour un burger encore congelé…
