Wonderful Town House where Irelands current President Connolly has stayed while visiting town

This is a very charming residence. It has fun and unexpected levels and lots of light. The location couldn't be better. My family really enjoyed it.

The Arcada Townhouse is located ideally to explore Killarney; it’s quiet and only a few short minutes down the road to the town center. The property comes with a private and secure car parking and has a lovely garden. All three bedrooms are ensuite plus an extra separate toilet, ideally for the 4 of us to ensure privacy and some individual time if needed. We really appreciated the use of the washing machine after a few days on the road - thank you! Tony, the host was super responsive and made sure that everything went smooth and all questions were answered promptly. He has a great folder ready with plenty of recommendations for the area. If you are looking for a unique stay at a typical Irish townhouse with all its comforts and quirkiness that makes you feel at home, then we can only recommend this place 🥰

Nothing really. The shower pressure is on the lower side of things, and toilets need a moment to refill after flushing, but this is not a bother at all and to be expected in an older house.

The location was good and central to the town and the host was responsive

The property is very dated and needs quite a lot of TLC. The stay was fine but it just wasn’t at all what we expected, it was dated.

This Townhouse was in a great location, an easy 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Each of the 3 rooms had its own bathroom, and an additional powder room upstairs. When we had some problems with figuring out the hot water the host was easy to get ahold of and addressed our needs. You get two keys, so if part of your group wants to stay out later, you can still get in. The parking out front is parallel, and first come first serve, but we were always able to find a spot fairly close.

The property is older and the arrangement of the rooms is a little odd, with little steps up and down all over the place. The single room is downstairs and the others upstairs. There were not a lot of decorations so the place felt less cared for, but it was clean and comfortable.

Location was great, good to have a clothes line and a washer. Space for 6 adults was fine for dining. Host was great and very responsive to all questions. Great potential with this space, just needs to attend to above issues to update areas.

Wet areas are carpeted. Very limited cooking equipment to self cater. Smelly downpipe near dining window when upstairs shower or water is used. Smelly diesel tank outside downstairs bedroom. Overall musky smell due to age of carpet.

Great location and super clean. Tony, the host, was amazing! Very accommodating and answered all our questions and concerns quickly. Went out of his way to make sure we were happy.

Cosy house very close to shops, pubs and restaurants, easy check-in, comfortable beds, each bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, very nice host, free parking in front of the house

Water pressure could be higher, more hooks on the wall for jackets would have been nice

Amazing apartment located at 5 min walking from centre. Perfect location for a group of friends. All the rooms have are ensuite. The living room and the kitchen are also quite big and well maintained

Everything was perfect

This place had great character! It was perfect for my mom, daughter, and I. A bit funky in the layout, to be expected and enjoyed! We found it easily with a 15-20 min walk from the train station and a 5 min walk to the beginning of a mainstreet. The road it is on gets busy at rush hour but quiet throughout the day. The proprietor, Tony, was AMAZING! Answered any questions I had and was quick to respond!

Most issues we had were small. Minimal cooking utensils, mixing bowls, or pans if any. Lower water pressure then what we were used to. It is an older home and it shows. But still cozy! I felt safe with my mom and daughter there. It was a place to rest in quiet after walking around town and country all day.

5 minute walk to market, pubs and shopping. Easy to get to and from to tour the area. Quiet.

Owner is remodeling this fall and will correct things like adding shelving in bathrooms, more comfortable seating in living room and add railings to stairs. He was great at taking feedback and very responsive to our questions.

House was lovely and cosy. Very central to the town. Parking outside the door or in a nearby car park. Tony was an excellent host. Would definitely stay again.
