Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Everything about this hotel was excellent. It’s an ideal location if on the Camino. The host Robert was very helpful especially in relation to where to eat. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The kettle and coffee / tea making facilities in the room were great (not encountered them so far in our Camino). A really comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Easily the best place we’ve stayed on our Camino journey. Robert, the host, was absolutely hilarious and so welcoming. We checked in after a 30km walking day and he lifted our spirits! The room and hotel itself was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Yummy breakfast provided in the morning. They also gave us cooling foot gel which was so nice. Near the Camino and restaurants within walking distance.

They even have usb-c plugs 😉 Btw, you can ask for assistance and get help with what you need. Also, if you are on your Camino, it is almost at the route and away from busy center, so you get a good night sleep.

La ubicación, bastante lejos del centro, había que coger el coche y lo peor el ruido insoportable por las noches de un extractor estropeado o de algo que funcionaba mal y que parecía llegar del lavabo( hasta varias horas de un sonido agudo, estridente). Además, la ventana de la habitación daba a un tanatorio, a sus salas.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Baiona mellett, A. Ramallosaban található szálloda épülete, és annak környezete szép, gondozott. Korlátozott számú, ingyenesen használható saját parkolóval rendelkezik. Személyzete barátságos, készséges. Szoba és fürdőszoba megfelelő méretű, bár az ágy kicsit keskeny két felnőtt embernek. A reggeli választható, kissé szűkebb kínálatú. A tengerpart gyalogosan is megközelíthető. Nagyon jó éttermek, élelmiszerbolt,, zöldséges is található a közelben. Baionaba kocsival (vagy busszal) mindenképpen érdemes elmenni.
Nem volt légkondicionáló, ezért a szobában napközben elviselhetetlen meleg volt. A mobilklima csak a forró levegőt keverte, a szobát nem tudta lehűteni. Nincs hűtő, így iható hűtött víz sem. Javasolt a weblapon feltüntetni, hogy hétfőn piac van a szálloda előtti utcában, így a parkolója vasárnap éjféltől hétfőn délutánig nem használható. Ez a hétfőn kijelentkező vendégeknek problémát jelent, hiszen az utcai parkolás nem mindig biztonságos.

В комнате нет вентиляции совсем. Поэтому надо открывать дверь на балкон. К вечеру появляются комары, которые кусают всю ночь. В комнате нет ничего от них. Но самое ужасное, что рядом с гостиницей находимся какой-то ресторан или клуб, в котором начинает играть музыка с песнями с 8 вечера и до 3 ночи. Спать невозможно. Закрыв двери, жалюзи, шторы она грохочет так, что не помогают беруши, наушники. Это была худшая наша ночёвка на всем пути Камино.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Es un hotel con encanto, bien ubicado (hay restaurantes cerca y un supermercado enfrente) y adaptado (dispone de ascensor y habitaciones accesible). Amenities y limpieza diaria. Todo muy bien cuidado y limpio. Dan un desayuno muy bueno, y Robert el dueño es muy cercano lo cual te hace sentir como en casa.
El único pero es que nos pilló ola de calor y aún con el ventilador climatizador que disponía la habitación no era suficiente y hacía muchísimo calor.

The place itself is meticulously kept, the garden & outside lounge area are both very inviting, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious, it’s close to many stores, restaurants and very close to the Camino Portuguese. Round this all up with the family that owns and runs it for the WIN. They are very hospitable, accommodating and warm. We made pleasant conversations, a top notch wine was suggested and provided which only added to the overall great experience. The story of how the name Hotel Arce is quite touching. Stay there, enjoy yourself and listen to the story 👌🏽.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Wir wurden sehr freundlich und mit entgegenkommender Aufmerksamkeit empfangen. Die Fahrräder hatten sofort gute Abstellmöglichkeiten. In der Veranda konnten wir unser mitgebrachtes Essen einnehmen. Vor dem Fenster war ein gepflegter Garten.
Der Abfluss im Waschbecken sollte vor Eintreffen der Gäste kontrolliert werden.

Otherwise you need an additional 5km. It is pretty, amazing breakfast. They give you a cooling gel for your tired feet on one of the hard days on the Camino. Worth every cent.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026The manager Robert was very nice and spoke several languages fluently. The rooms are a little small, but they clean. There is no central air conditioning, but there is a fan. There was no refrigerator in the room, which we would have liked. There is a very nice pastry shop right across the street, and several nice restaurants right in the area. Plenty of shelf space in the bathroom. A nice touch was that they provided a cooling leg and foot gel that was kind of minty really nice. The bed also had conveniently placed USBC and electric plugs on both sides of the bed. Breakfast service was ample and nicely presented in a comfortable room. Conveniently located for walking the Camino de Santiago.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Schönes Hotel, ein paar Kilometer ausserhalb des Zentrums von Baiona. Das Zimmer ist relativ gross und sauber, die Betten sind bequem. Das Personal ist sympathisch und sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist grosszügig und lecker. Parkieren ist auf dem Parkplatz vom Hotel möglich.
Die Dusche ist relativ klein.

This place is close to the end of the Camino stage. Perfect for Camino walkers.

Gode såpe og shampoo og litt ekstra toalett-saker på rommet. Ligger stille til, men alt av tilbud i nærheten - og etappen tom Vigo noen km kortere enn fra Baiona sentrum. Takk for meg!

Muy alejado de Bayona centro, aunque la distancia en el día de llegada son Km que restas en la siguiente etapa( Camino de Santiago).

Reviewed May 26, 2026Jedes Zimmer ist individuell und gut eingerichtet. Es gibt hochwertige Bio-Seifen und Lotionen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Der Besitzer ist sehr um seine Gäste besorgt.

With the shutters closed there is not much ventilation and the stand up cooler in the room didnt really help cool the room.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Fabulous boutique hotel right on the Camino. Beautiful decor clean comfortable, lovely breakfast, friendly welcoming staff. When we come back baiona we would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed May 23, 2026Easy to find just off the Camino. We had a two night stay here so we could enjoy a rest day and we found this hotel ideal for that. All the staff are very pleasant and Rob the owner was very engaging. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is a simple affair but adequate for our needs. A few bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend!

Reviewed May 21, 2026Robert was a great host. Great sense of humor and great advice for restaurants near by. The rooms were well equipped and had everything we needed.
The breakfast was a bit of a let down. You had to sit and wait to get coffee and bread which was a bit frustrating.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Spacious clean room with good shower. Right on the camino route and there was restaurant?bar open early evening for food at the end of the street. Added bonus- cases were already delivered to room and a complimentary foot treatment to apply to weary feet was given to us.
i would of preferred breakfast before 8 am as on the camino i wanted to be off walking by then. As lots of guests were also on the camino it resulted in all guests waiting for breakfast to open at 8 am. Brealfast was good with plenty of choice.
