La Pergola

Beautiful charming house, stunning views from the terrace over lake Geneva. Property was clean, spacious, and felt relaxing.

We had a lovely stay at La Pergola as a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We loved the quirkyness of the decor and everywhere was spotless. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. The views were amazing at all times of day. La Pergola is located in Glion, a few minutes walk to the furnicular, which takes you down to Territet where you can easily catch a bus or walk about 20 minutes into the more central area of Montreux. We stayed for 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer.

You don't get the Montreux Riviera Card, but I feel this is reflected in the cost of the accommodation. The SBB app was great for booking and planning travel. We didn't use our car for the duration of our stay.

Tout était parfait

It was so quaint, comfortable, clean, and the view was magical. The people were very nice to work with.

I didn't realize that it was not in Montreux, where I thought I was booking. So happy it was in Glion, it was such a wonderful experience, "a happy mistake" We were a very old foursome, and getting our luggage to the hotel, although close, was very difficult for us.

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. In der Küche hat es alles, was wir benötigten. Die Lage mit dem herrlichen Ausblick und der nahe gelegenen Bahn gefiel uns auch sehr gut. Das Haus ist sehr sauber.

House was spotless,predictably Swiss chalet style,and had everything needed,easy access to the train & funicular railway.

Superb location overlooking the lake but high in the mountains. Good access to furnicular railway station just 5 minutes down the hill which takes you into Montreux. Had a great time here and would happily spend longer here.

Parking relies on public spaces being available, need more information on alternatives if these are full (there are some further down the hill in a little square)

Magnificent little house, very clean and comfortable, renovated and decorated in the style of the belle époque with lots of antique furniture and attention to detail- there's even a grand piano in the living room. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the funiculare with breathtaking views that takes you to the lake in 8 minutes. The house itself offers an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The beds are very comfortable and the children's bedroom has a little play corner that our girls enjoyed (age 10 and 12).

This chalet is in a lovely stop with views on three sides. The terrace area is lovely to sit in and have a drink. Each room is lovingly furnished and has some beautiful things to look at which evoke Switzerland culture and traditions. We appreciated the attention to detail and care that had gone into welcoming us to the accommodation. The Nespresso coffee machine and generous supply of coffee was very really appreciated.

My husband is a little too tall for the traditional eaves and banged his head a couple of times. You do not get a tourist travel discount with this accommodation, unlike hotels in Montreux.

Cleanliness of the place. Easy check in. Nice restaurant “buffet de la gare” in the village, easy access to Montreux with train or funicular

Check out a bit early, 10. Limited option for breakfast in the village.
