Yalta Park

We had an excellent stay at Yalta Park and would definitely book again; our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Nice big shower, comfortable seating in the lounge, a variety of warm drinks to choose from, milk in the fridge just made our stay much more convenient and very comfortable beds. We felt safe and knowing that our vehicle was in a locked garage gave us peace of mind. Thank you, Kirsten and Matthew.

Area is quiet, the place is spacious and cosy. The staff friendly and helpful, they reached out ahead of our stay with important information. Everything is accessible easily as it is outside town but still close enough. Loved the tea/coffee options! And the snacks came in very handy for road trip!

Beautiful garden, peaceful and so spacious. Very attentive hosts with great attention to detail. It was home away from home.

The unit was much bigger than expected with a big lounge and kitchen area and separate entrance area. Garage for you car.

Everything was perfect and more. The stuff is super friendly next time if I want to book in PMB. Yalta is my go-to. Everybody needs to visit that place

Needs more ventilation. Old soap left in bathroom with beard or something on it. Mouldy pillows given which host replaced. But with old pillows that smelt and looked like it came off a bed from main house. Asked for another blanket which was also smelly like it's been used and just given to us. Pathway to cottage needs to be lit. No lighting meant we stood in dog feaces as we couldn't see where we were going at night. Door between main residence and flatlet. Resulting in you hearing hosts walk in house and light pouring in the flatlet when you trying to sleep with window above door. Sleeper couch needs to be replaced old and feel the wood through the fabrics Sheets dirty with dog paw prints No mirrors apart from small one in bathroom so impossible to do hair or make up etc Mould on ceilings Shower had water run all.over the bathroom doesn't drain into drain but all over the floor Towels.provided smelt of mould / damp

Wonderful one night stay. Hosts are very welcoming. The flatlet is clean and comfortable... really relaxing place. Will definitely book again when visiting Pietermaritzburg.

The hosts treated us like family and were very accommodating. the neighborhood was very quiet and nice area. we were very close to our appointments and quite for resting. Such a wonderful property and view over PMB

Not much to complain about as what we booked was what we received and the hosts were SO nice

Overall experience was great and the host Matthew was friendly and welcoming.

The only thing was the leaking water from the shower but did not become much of an issue as we were just there overnight.

Everything about the place was first class. Loved Matthew and Kirsten, they were so welcoming. Really a home away from home and they outfit themselves with the snacks in the room (tea, coffee etc)

The hostess was very considerate and looked after us very well. They went the extra mile to accommodate us at every step of the way. We arrived during the rain and she met us with umbrellas. We had a cooler bag that needed to be put in a freezer and she assisted by putting it in their freezer. Felt guilty for waking them early when we were leaving. She stood by when we backed out of the garage and even helped to navigate the steep incline to the garage. Very very happy with the excellent service and attention.

The shower floor was a bit of a challenge, water was seeping underneath the door and puddling right at the door. Going into the bathroom was very slippery and took a bit of navigation. However, the overall stay went off without any hitches.

The driveway needs a little attention. Lounge could use a TV stand for dstv box, and could use either a fan or aircon.

Excellent value for money and lovely host

Very good value for money in a good location. Host was always available and had little extra thoughtful touches like a bottle of champagne and milk in the fridge.

The house interior light shines into the apartment and activity in the house can be heard clearly in the apartment

The place felt like home and had all the necessary amenities inside and there is plenty outdoor space which makes it feel homey and the hosts were very, kind and accommodating. I will definitely recommend it for small families and people who are on business and do not want to miss out on the leisure part.

The outflow of water from the shower needs to be fixed for convenience sake

All of the extra little conveniences. We'll equipped kitchen. Basic supplies that are often overlooked when away from home, but which are necessary to make a meal were made available. Huge avos fell from a massive tree. Super friendly host who is knowledgeable about the area.

Walkway is slippery when wet. .

We received a warm welcome, the hosts were very hospitable, gave my daughter treats and had a lovely surprise for my daughter...coloring books and drawing stuff, place was neat and clean, fully equipped kitchen with detergents, tea and coffee was provided, newly built bathroom, definitely a bargain. Absolutely awesome 👌
