Reviewed Sep 5, 2026La chambre était vraiment magnifique avec une vue sur le lac. Des jaccuzzi, sauna et accès au lac sont disponibles. Le petit déjeuner était plutôt correct.
Nous sommes arrivés en train et n’avions pas anticipé la réservation au restaurant. Il n’a pas été possible d’avoir une table au dernier moment. Il faut savoir que l’hôtel n’est pas à proximité de restaurant.

Manque de variétés au petit déjeuner, la poussière dans la chambre n’est pas au top.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026I had questions before my stay and the staff was very helpful. They were all very friendly. The woman who showed us around you could tell liked her job and the hotel. The manager grew up in the area so it was nice to talk to him. We had drinks in the hot tub and the staff was sure to come and start the sauna to ensure it was hot for us.
Nothing we didn't like just a couple ideas. A couple more hooks in the room for hanging things like the robes they provide and towels. They have hooks in bathroom but we ran out. They provided slip on sandals to wear to the hot tub which was a great idea, only problem was all of our feet were way too small. :) so a few smaller pairs would be great. A little more alcohol in the drinks. They are expensive but didn't taste like alcohol.

la carte du resto : 2 choix possibles ( si on retire le plat végétarien ) : on est resté 3 nuits et avons donc été prendre le dernier dîner du soir ailleurs ;

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026We are a family of 4 and Jo stayed just one night before a group trekking trip. Would’ve liked to have stayed longer. We had lunch in the grill area, enjoyed a nice walk, and had the 7 course meal with wine pairings. It was a nice quick stay. The views from our place were amazing. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful- even making my son a special ginger tea for his sore throat that he was developing.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The ambience is awesome. The hot jacuzzis and sauna as well as the views were stunning. The river rafting next door was fantastic.
The room size is small. Theres no closets. The breakfast is very limited. For the price we paid it was crazy expensive. They do not have à la carte dinner and there is really nothing around. The menu is fixed and limited and after eating it on day 1 for breakfast lunch and dinner, it’s hard to eat the same thing again the next day. The location is far from any civilization and cabs are very expensive to get to city Centre.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamer over het meer. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers zijn verrassend van opzet, niet heel ruim, maar wel zeer fraai vorm gegeven. Volledig terecht dat ze een Michelin-vermelding hebben gekregen.
Accommodatie is redelijk aan de prijs.

Lå i et industriområde og 4 km fra byen. Hvis ikke man spiste på stedets meget dyre restaurant, skal nan ind til byen. Vi havde ikke meget søudsigt, da vi primært kiggede ind i et andet hus. Værelset manglede noget at lægge kufferten på og det var kravle ind seng.

Reviewed May 24, 2026This is a stunning hotel in special setting with brilliant staff. We did half board for two nights with one being the 7 course Saturday meal, both were lovely. This is an ideal getaway for couples and families.
Two small gripes (don’t let it stop you booking): 1. The towels & robes need a serious upgrade. It’s like a small 2* motel towel which is weird as everything else is high quality. 2. At breakfast (which is great) you can order bacon and eggs but each time they only gave a single small (good quality) rasher with the two eggs. I’m sure they would give more if you asked but it does feel a bit weird.

- The surroundings are largely agricultural/industrial, lacking scenic charm and offering no pleasant walking routes - No nearby dining options, a car is essential to reach restaurants in Voss - in contrast to the cozy and warm lower floor of the room, the upper floor was rather bare, with not even a side table

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026View was nice of a pretty lake. Cabin was as pictured, modern and cool, just smaller. Staff mostly friendly, especially at restaurant/bar.
Guests should know that the cabins are quite small compared to how they look online. Also be aware of the narrow-ish stairs to most cabins (with luggage it's not great). The giant beautiful windows were dirty and condensation made it hard to see out of them in the morning, which is one of the things we were looking forward to enjoying from our bed. I was hoping to have a nice morning walk/hike, but it is in a kind of neighborhood setting, so walking around feels a bit like you are invading the neighbors' space. Its not as rural and remote as it seems online. The buffet breakfast was decent but limited. There was a waffle maker, but it was serve yourself and it wasn't plugged in. Weird. It's fancy, cool vibe camping, but nothing luxury if that's what you're after. Value was not there for us, as it was expensive for Norway accommodations.
