Pas d'ascenceur, difficile de monter une grosse valise au 3e étage.

我住在3樓，衹有1格浴室和厠所，花灑的水方式令人意想不到😅從四方百面亂撒出來，更在喉管後亂噴🫣回房要走2層樓梯，枕頭套不知為何這麼多小毛球🤔木架床稍有一些移動已發出咯咯聲響😬

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Breakfast was prepared fresh every morning. The location was super conviniet regarding the train station. The staff is a mix of locals and international volunteers, giving the perfect hostel vibe. They help you arrange for bikes, scooters and suggest trips in the area. Easy to get to Taroko Gorge from the hostel (on scooter or bike)
A bit far from the main city, but didn't feel like a loss, since the nature is close.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026The owners Phoebe and Jeremy are so lovely and accomodating. Teaching us to majoung and cooking up delicious breakfasts. The hostel feels very homey and is clean and central. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026The staff are very friendly. So are the fellow travellers. They prepared a very nice hotpot for the Lunar New Year
Unfortunately, I don't think this hostel deserves the high Google rating that it has. The beds are very squeaky. People from the top bunk beds drop their property in the middle of the night and wake you up (not on purpose, the beds are just not well designed at all). The sockets don't hold travel adapters. The curtains are attached by pins and don't hold very well. The dorm gets extremely hot and noisy so I couldn't really sleep there. Additionally, the hostel advertises itself as a co-working hostel but doesn't really have a co-working space. It is definitively not a good value for money. I have found something else in Hualien, also very close to the train station with better facilities for half price but unfortunately book the full week at this one fooled by good reviews. Additionally, there are volunteers working at this hostel for free accomodation, so I don't think these costs are justified for staff wages. The staff are lovely and try to make up for these inconveniences but I still think it needs to be reflected in a review.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Perfect location and the staff is very welcoming and kind! They give great recommendations for sights and things to do. Huge plus for the delicious breakfast that’s included in the price, and you get to meet the other travellers as well! :) The hostel is really cozy, had a very comfortable bed and when I stayed there it was super quiet at night in my room. You can borrow bikes for free too. I forgot my glasses at the hostel and Phoebe was really amazing - she sent them to me when I was back in Taipei!!

Reviewed Nov 25, 2024The personel was amazing and so friendly, they recommended places for us to go and restaurants to eat at. Also they have the cutest cat!! Just be careful when opening the door or he will run out haha
The bathroom shower didn’t have hot water and it was a bit dirty in the bathrooms. The bedroom was really clean tho.
