Tout était parfait dans ce petit paradis! Inès est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, partage ses adresses et répond a toutes demandes. Elle nous a conseillé de tres bons resto mais aussi un excellent chauffeur pour faire les oasis: surtout foncez y! Et poussez jusqu à Midès, parlez avec Mansour, c'est sublime et il faut sauvegarder ce village. La maison d Ines est tres joliment décorée et confortable, d une propreté absolue, et fraîche. Vous vous sentirez à la maison. Le patio est tres agréable. Nous recommandons vivement.

Acceuil exceptionnel et superbe emplacement maison très bien décoré

Tout est propre et la décoration est très bien faite.

Le frigot mérite une petite rénovation, et la serrure de la porte d’entrée qui mérite aussi un petit coup de neuf pour se fermer plus facilement. Mais rien de grave.

The apartment was well located, a short walk to the medina, the amenities were good, and the decoration was nice. The host was readily available and the comunication was efficent. We had one minor issue at the apartment which was promptly managed by the host. Thre is a nice restaurant just a few meters from the apartment. Recommended.

Parking is on the street, which is not clear on Booking. However, it was always available.

I love this place, you have plenty of room and a delightful shaded garden at back.

Our flight from Tunis was delayed in 8 hours so we arrived in Tozeur at midnight. Ines and her husband, the owners, offered to pick us up at the airport in Tozeur, which was sooo kind! The next day on our way back from the 4x4 excursion in Tozeur, we got information that our flight back to Tunis was completely cancelled.. So we reached out to Ines again and she immediately provided us with the information about the night bus that goes back to Tunis that literally saved our whole itinerary! She also gave us some really nice recommendations on where we could spend our time in Tozeur before the departure of the night bus at 23.00. We really couldn't thank Ines and her husband enough for all the help that we got during this short stay, the hospitality was totally beyond our expectation! The room itself was also super cozy and spacious. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Dar Chahla will for sure hold a special place in our heart <3

Everything was beyond perfect during our stay.

Vaste et confortable appartement décoré avec goût qui occupe le rez-de-chaussée d'une maison individuelle à 15 minutes à pieds de la médina. Petite cour ombragée très agréable. Propreté irréprochable Bonne literie. Garage pour moto mais qui était trop petit pour notre side-car, alors, le jeune couple propriétaire, sympathique et serviable nous a proposé de garer le side-car chez eux. Tozeur est une ville agréable et constitue une bonne base pour visiter les oasis de montagne à 50 km

Le voisin a un coq totalement déjanté.

This was the best accommodation I have ever experienced. The owners were absolutely amazing and went far beyond what you would normally expect. They took great care of us and helped us with everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, very clean, and had a peaceful garden where we could relax. It really added to the overall comfort of the stay. One of the owners even drove us to an ATM with his own car without any hesitation. They also allowed us to park our motorcycles safely inside the entrance, away from the street, and helped us with our luggage. I have honestly never experienced this level of service before. On top of that, the owner came at 9 PM to help us resolve a small issue at a restaurant in the city where people didn’t speak English. That level of dedication is truly exceptional. We felt completely at home during our stay. This was a truly outstanding experience and I highly recommend it.

Assez proche du centre ville. Plusieurs restaurants à côté et petit magasin d'alimentation. Grand et bien aménagé. Grande et jolie cour. Cuisine, salon, 2 chambres et au calme : un oasis au centre ville. Ines, l'hôte, est très accueillante et disponible. Bon rapport qualité prix. Très bon appartement.

Amazing experience in Tozeur! The people are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. I truly felt at home thanks to their warm hospitality. The house I stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What made it even more special was the beautiful garden — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay there. Tozeur itself is a unique and beautiful destination, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable trip. Definitely coming back.

Leider gab es kaum Internet bzw. das Internet war sehr langsam. Insgesamt bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber nicht so wild.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete zentrale saubere Mehrzimmer Wohung. Bequeme Betten, Besitzerin spricht Englisch und ist immer erreichbar, super lieb und hilfbereit. Die große eigene Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Klare Empfehlung :)

Nette Begrüssung und eine Gute Lage und dekorative eingerichtet

Die Sauberkeit in der Küche war unzureichend, und es roch unangenehm. Die Ausstattung mit Gläsern und Besteck war mangelhaft. Der Kühlschrank kühlte nicht richtig, sodass Lebensmittel ins Gefrierfach gelegt werden mussten, wo sie zwar kalt, aber nicht gefroren wurden. Die beiden Einzelbetten hatten nur Schaumstoffmatten statt richtiger Matratzen und waren daher für Erwachsene ungeeignet. Zudem waren die Gartenstühle unbequem und durchgesessen.

Inès et son mari sont super gentils et accueillants. Reste à disposition en cas de besoin, maison propre, la décoration de cette maison est un condensé de tradition et de charme. Nous reviendrons inchallah.

Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de goûter au petit déjeuner typique de tozeur .

I loved this place. Clean and very quiet because the rooms are a distance from the main street.

This was a lovely Dar in a great central location. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything we needed for our stay.

Dar Chaka is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Tozeur. As you step into the courtyard you feel you’ve come home, especially with co-owners Ines and Zied there to welcome you. Spotlessly clean, spacious and fully equipped with two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, the guest house has everything you will need. The shady patio behind the house has comfortable seating and lovely plantings. Every detail has been carefully planned. The hosts, especially Ines, are extremely helpful and hospitable; they even went to Carrefour to buy beer for me! The location is excellent. The Medina is not far and there are several good restaurants, cafes and shops all within a couple of minutes walk.

So cosy and every detail was pretty It’s in the center of tozeur and everything is close by, next to all entertainment facilities , Appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality of Ines who made us feel like home and suggested several places and activities. She even had to wait for us till 12:00am for a late checkin , I initially told her we would arrive by 9pm but due to delay in the trip we arrived at midnight, she was very understanding and provided tips about the road and where we can eat since it was very late. She gave us recommendations on where to buy dates from and souvenirs. The house was very clean which I really appreciated, all amenities available and she provided an amenity as Soon as we asked for it.

The beds are comfortable, but maybe can be improved?

The host came to meet us at airport and didn´t mind our flight was late for some hours. The host was really hospitable, answered very quickly all our messages, gave recommendations where to go and what to see. In the evening sitting in the garden under palms and reading was wonderful!

Our hosts were amazing :) Ready to help, support, guide when we need, always with the smile. We had a truely wonderful time in this house. The interior is simple, confortable, ornemented with taste and authenticity. The location is also great, near everything there is to see or visit in Tozeur while still offering calm. We highly recommend ! It's nicer than the pics :)

A very beautiful spacy cosy appartment with garden. Beautiful furniture, appartment well equipped. Great location, you can reach everything by foot.

No coffeemachine.

The apartment is very spacious and the host has thought about everything you’ll need for a stay. It would be a good place for children as they have a second bedroom and some outdoor furniture for children to use. It has a private entrance and private patio and the host is very friendly.

It is on a quieter street with less stores and restaurants but that was ok for us as we didn’t mind walking around the town and exploring.

There is nothing that I didn’t like

Super host! Helpful, and had very good knowledge about restorants, to-do etc. It is a simple stay, has all you need, plus a nice private garden. All in a very good location.

Great location near the oasis and places to eat out locally, lovely yard to sit in in the evening. Very friendly host. Comfortable furniture and quite a smart looking apartment. Good value option in Tozeur. Parking on the street by the door.

Bedroom was a bit warm as the air conditioning is only in the living room, the kitchen equipment isn't great (e.g. no coffee pot, not much cookware) and the shower was a bit on the cool side

Very spacious apartments, with cozy and spacious backyard, has cutlery in kitchen. Has a small shop with water and sweets and a pizzeria in the next door, I like their ~8tnd folded "pizza". Big carrefour and fruits in 15 min by walk.

Would like to see kettle, but wasn't problem, used a pot
