Dat ik een upgrade kreeg en daardoor een eigen badkamer had, al was dat ook niet meer dan een oude toiletpot en een kraantje. De schone lakens die ik kreeg waren ook erg fijn.

Ik had al lage verwachtingen van de locatie, maar dat de douche niet meer dan een piesstrasltje gaf was wel echt heel jammer

Hello , Iiked Greek camp. The manager Islam is very good and organised and friendly. The room was comfortable and the place feels like a big family. It is a simple place so if you want luxury don't come. Of you value good atmosphere, friendly people and feeling of community more than material looks stay here.

The location was ideal, close to the go-bus station, the beach, as well as shops and restaurants in Dahab. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was kind.

The room had a window but no mosquito net, so I couldn't keep it open all the time. The bathroom was filthy and nobody cleaned it. There were no clothing hangers and no bin in the room. Apart from the bed on which I slept okay, everything else felt quite uncomfortable. Even for the low price, I wouldn't recommend it.

Special thanks to Mr. Tony for his excellent hospitality from the first day we arrived until the last. Thank you, Tony, for everything. You were a friend, not just a receptionist.

The location.

The staff are inept to the point that they acted like they had no idea what the check in process was. I arrived at 2:30pm, and had to wait 30 minutes for them to do a check in that their listing states begins at 2pm (after a 12 hour overnight bus from Cairo...I'm dead tired and *desperate* to check in and they don't care about ANYTHING). Then the electricity went out--only out at this hotel, not the neighbors!--and when I asked them to turn it back on, they rolled their eyes at me, and of course did nothing. I left many days early and didn't even try to ask for a refund because it's pointless to expect any level of professionalism from them, even the bare bones.

Leaving.

The place is filthy, half the time the showers are broke, the sink is clogged, AND/or the electricity didn't work, the staff do nothing but play on their phone while lying on the sofa, and they are annoyed or confused just because you need to check in--even when you already paid online in advance. The worst, worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Exceptional service recovery and outstanding hospitality! My stay at Greek Camp had a rough start, but the owner, Karim, handled the situation with absolute professionalism. He personally reached out, apologized, and graciously upgraded me to a fantastic air-conditioned room. The rest of my stay was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to the amazing staff members, Ahmed and Tony, for their genuine kindness, hard work, and for making sure everything was flawless. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dahab, this is management that truly cares about its guests!

The only positive aspect of my stay at Greek Camp was the staff. They were genuinely polite, helpful, and treated me very well specially “Tony”.

However, the property itself is completely neglected and falls far below any acceptable standard of hospitality. During my stay, I faced several major issues: No Electricity: There was a complete absence of electricity. Broken Doors: The doors were broken, leaving no sense of security or privacy. Terrible Bathrooms: The bathrooms were in an extremely poor, unsanitary, and unhygienic condition. It is unfair to the hardworking staff to be placed in a property that lacks basic human necessities. I strongly advise the management to completely renovate the facilities. Until then, I cannot recommend staying here

The camp is very well located, great staff, very friendly, and it has everything you need. There is also a small pool for refreshing yourself when needed, so overall it is a very nice place.

It is a camp, not a hostel, so obviously the levels of comfort and cleanliness are limited. But I really enjoyed my stay and had all I needed to feel comfortable enough.

the location is amazing, right next to the beach, and the camp has a small pool very refreshing when coming back from the beach. The staff is really nice, specially Ahmed Kamel treated us very kindly. The camp is small and cozy.

Found this property as expected. Old construction but well kept. Away from the noise of the first coral line but still close to the beach and all things of the center village. On my budget situation, consider my experience of 1 week as a good rapport in quality/price. To mention the activity of host Ahmad Camal, a friendly man who's making things work well for customers.

Ahmed Kamel was a very friendly, respectful, and cheerful person, and the place was very clean in his presence. I remember that I came to the same place several months ago and it was not clean because he was not there, but this time his presence made a difference and I will repeat it many times.

I will narrate the whole story of what happened with me in this place, both the good and the bad. I booked a non-refundable night here a few weeks ago, but my flight got cancelled and I had to change my plans in the last minute. I contacted the property and Ahmad kindly offered to give me a room for free for another night when I arrived, which I appreciated a lot. I immediately saw there are dogs being taken care of by Ahmad which was also very kind.

However, unfortunately, when I saw the state of the place I didn't even want the room, but I had already checked in, it was late, and I needed a place to sleep after a long travel, so I just took it. I also had a diving course over 3 days that started very early in the morning and ended in the evening, which meant I couldn't move anywhere else if I wanted, so I extended for 2 more nights, and then I left, as soon as I can. The first night was in the single room, where rats would even feel uncomfortable living! It was so dirty, the floor, the sheets, the walls, everything, that I slept so poorly every night just because I was paranoid of where I was. Then, I moved to the bungalow which was even worse! I sincerely can't describe how dirty this place was, even for a traveller which I am, used to hostels, this was merely too much! The bathrooms are just not prepared for human use, that is all I can say! A dog entered the bungalow on my last day and peed under my bed, and they simply sprayed something in the air to remove the smell! Yet, I was not planning to write this at all since Ahmad did give me a free accomodation practically on the first night. However, I always had a weird feeling being around him. He was being too clingy and too close for a stranger, and I kept justifying it with the different cultures, until a girl I met and became friends with in Dahab told me afterwards that Ahmad started asking that she sleeps in his room for the last night because he gave her a discount, and he kept insisting on it that she had to change accomodation on her last night because she felt unsafe! He also took my number from booking and messaged me privately, and he made me give him 10/10 rating through the original booking because of the free first night he offered me, which I realised changed the whole power dynamic! I don't know what else to say.

Very friendly environment - easy to meet people sharing the common areas. Helpful staff and manager. Comfortable bed in private room with shared bathroom. Quiet area only a few minutes walk from the boardwalk. Access to camp refrigerator. Short walking distance to boardwalk were many cafes restaurants, dive centers and shops are located. Low price. Good tailor located across the road.

Bathrooms were not very clean. One of the two men's toilets was broken and did not flush. Room was prepared with only a bottom sheet on the bed and no blanket (nights were cool are required a blanket in March) or towel - however the manager was able to provide clean blanket, additional sheet and towel upon request the following day - after my late night arrival.

Rapport qualité-prix franchement imbattable Clairement destiné aux backpackers, loin du luxe superficiel de certains hôtels du coin, un poil déglingué mais tout fonctionne et est largement au top pour tout aventurier.e qui cherche un coin chouette et dans son jus!

The location in the middle of Dahab, very near to everything including the transportation, Ahmed was extremely helpful and friendly he even helped us through a lot of stuff and gave us recommendations he made complementary breakfast for us the day we reached. He made the stay si cozy and homie definitely will come again.

Worst mattress I've ever slept in. Like it was actually a terrible mattress, very old. But it's probably the cheapest place in Dahab, so worth the money. BUT the mattress for the cheapest room is like horrid, but I was able to sleep

I like staying here because it is like a community . Staff nice and had alot of laughs. I was in a wooden room , I like it alot . The bed was very comfortable. Only stay here if you like simple rooms and are not a fussy person . What do you expect for the cheap price ? The Ritz? No you won't get luxury, but you will get kind people and a welcome. The WiFi is vey good strength reaches even to my room. So I was in a wooden shead with snad and mats on the floor like a Bedouine tent but with very good WiFi. A fun experience. Of your not open minded again don't come then moan. Yes there may be mosquitos ...they exist even in 4* places. It's called nature. Deal with it . May also be a roach I've seen the. Again in good hotels I stayed in Laguna. It's a simple place with a nice friendly atmosphere.

Toilet blocked and no hot water. Shower no pressure The bathroom needs updating but it serves it purpose. You can wash. But not in luxury haha The pool in the center is dirty and not used. Would be better to fill it in And make a space for guests to sit and chill.As the pool is aft too small to be any good anyway ....plus it isn't maintained so a whole waste of space. This is up to the owner. I guess. ....

Mr Islam was super friendly and helpful, location is great, very close to the beach and other facilities.

Cleanliness could be improved but nonetheless acceptable value for money.

The room is similar to a rubbish box, and the bed and cover are not clean, which makes my skin bad. The place needs work. The mattresses are dead, the one blanket is in bad shape, has no cover, the bedsheet is also old and ratty, the pillowcase didn't cover the pillow, the room smells like smoke, needs fresh paint.

The property is well managed, close to the main attractions, and perfect for chilling and relaxing.
