Renuka Inn

Staff and owner is very friendly. The all facilities are excellent 😍

Kitchen , Bathroom and all room facilities are excellent 😍✨

Little far from the Kandy town, yet a nice location with very clean, comfortable rooms.

You need to drive through a narrow lane and the car parking was a bit of a hazzle. I would recommend a three wheeler to get to the place.

Rooms

The beds were comfortable and clean. Clean bathroom with hot water. Since kandy is cool, we got a room without ac. It was nice and cool

No sound proofing at all. We could hear people from other rooms, their bathroom activities etc. And even when we spoke softly, our voices could be heard from outside. The windows were slated which was why it was not sound proofed.

We had a wonderful stay at Renuka Inn in Kandy. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially being close to the lake and within easy walking distance to many places. Parking our car was also very easy. The host is a very kind and helpful person who warmly welcomed us and made sure all our needs were taken care of. The room was exceptionally clean and we didn’t find any shortcomings at all. There is also a separate kitchen outside, which is very convenient for anyone who needs it. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy. The price is unbelievably affordable for what you get. In my opinion, this is one of the best budget places to stay in Kandy. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Very reasonable for the price paid and the owner provided very friendly service. Highly recommended.

peace full silent place

Acqua calda 24 h!

Clean and quiet warm water and no mosquitoes

A bit remote

Very good. Reasonable price. Easy to reach. Very happy. Better than expected. We stayed for two days. There was a kitchen to prepare food. We will definitely come back.🖤

There is no shortage.

kitchen

The place was very clean and comfortable. There was private parking with a gate, hot water, and a small kitchen area, which was very useful. The room looked modern and was good value for money. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The location was great, very close to the Dalada Maligawa, and we could even walk there. Overall, it was a very good stay.

I like the owners, very clean and close to Center ,hot water

WiFi didnt work

Super

Very hospital

Nothing bang for you buck kind of place, didn’t stay in much but travelled a lot

The host Mrs Renuka and her husband are great and very caring, so we felt nice and welcome. We stayed couple of times as we always returned to this place when visiting Kandy. We had a nice room with balcony, warm shower and we could cook at a small kitchen and use fridge. And we definitely come back again when we are around. Looking forward. Thank you Pavlina

I stayed in a double bed room at this hotel and had a good overall experience. The room was clean, which I really liked. Towels were free, and the host was kind and helpful. One thing to remember—the Wi-Fi password is not in the room. You can find it written on a calendar at the main lobby desk.

There was no outside window, but the room still felt okay. The room is not soundproof, so you might hear noises from other guests. Also, the bed made some noise when I moved.

Worth for the money and rooms are clean.

It was luxury look and it is really clean. Worth for the price. Bathroom and the bed are crystal clear. Staff is really friendly and helpful. I didn't use the kitchen but I have access to kitchen also. It's really worth for the price.

The bed is little bit noisy and room is not sound proof.

Nice modern clean room with cooking facilities and a fridge. Short walk around the lake to get to the centre. Friendly staff!

Can be a bit noisy.

The location

The location is better

The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

But the openings kept for ventilation in both rooms and bathroom was disturbing. it will be better if they can close these openings so it will offer more privacy during the stay.

Everything was great Everything was good. Great staff Clean and great rooms Great cooking facilities Great location

The hotel internet was not good, but since we had unlimited internet, we used our cell phones as long as we were outside the hotel, inside the courtyard.

Clean floor and bathrooms. Wifi was not working but owner helped me to get internet connection.

- Tiny kitchen (maybe 3m*0.5m) with little facilities (sink and utensils in pictures). - Bed sheets, towels and mosquito nets are soo old and smell like mold (really bad), very thin mattress, couldn't sleep at all. I asked the owner two questions and those were her answers: - Is there any kitchen utilities? -> You should buy for yourself. - What do you recommend to do in Kandy? -> Check in internet. And just for Info: - The terrace pictures are not from the rented house, it belongs to the owners house. - In same day when I was there, a spanish guest came (with 4 nights booking) and left right away after seeing the room.

A budget-friendly place that offers good value for the price. While not the most comfortable, it is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen area is a convenient addition, allowing guests to prepare simple meals and tea. A decent choice for those looking for an affordable stay with basic amenities.

There is only a single-size blanket provided for the double bed, which is insufficient.

The place was as I expected and very clean.

Very close to Dalada Maligawa. Considering the price well worth. Very clean. Good amenities.

Mattress could have been better. (suggestion)

The room was very clean, spacious, and tastefully arranged, with a beautiful large balcony overlooking palm trees. The sheets and towels were clean with a fresh scent and the fan and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean, modern, and spacious enough. Warm water was available and the water pressure was great. A working fridge and a small kitchen were available in the common area, adding convenience. The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after checkout. The location is about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride from the train station. Highly recommend it for a comfortable stay!

Soundproofing: The walls seem to be dry walls, so you can hear other guests clearly at times. This wasn’t an issue for us, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs, especially since there are quite a few dogs in the area that tend to bark at night. Curtains: The room gets quite bright in the morning because the curtains are not blackout curtains. For those who prefer to sleep in, I’d recommend packing a sleeping mask. Mattress Comfort: The mattress is on the firmer side, which might not suit everyone’s preference. Mosquito Net: The mosquito net is a bit small for two people. A larger net would make it more comfortable for couples.

Highly recommend place..

Rooms are not sound proof..its very suitable for one family..

Very clean and close to town.

I didn’t have outside windows.

"A delightful stay! The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, with a modern touch and wonderful amenities like a charming balcony and access to a kitchen and refrigerator. The location is perfect just a short walk to Dalada Maligawa, downtown, and the serene lake. The hosts were incredibly friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed, making the experience even more enjoyable. The warm and welcoming atmosphere and excellent service make this place a gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and cozy accommodation!"
