The property was ideal for the purpose of our stay it was near Eden Court .

Schöner Altbau und tolles Forye, im Zimmer gibt es einen Wasser Kocher, Kaffee und ein Tee Sortiment. die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch zu später stunde empfangen.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein für denn preis und der speise raum war sehr mit kästen vollgestapelt. Ansonsten aber sehr schön.

When i got there i couldn't get in. No answer when i knocked or rang the bell. The phone number listed didn't work. As a result i had to pay twice as much for a hotel room nearby

Close to Cathedral.

Noisy coaches outside in the morning, other guests trying door handle was extremely worrying and off putting. . Very thin walls (or loud neighbours).

Location was not bad. Beds comfortable.

No communication at all from the owner. She was very frazzled and confused and we did not check in until 5. After we received our key we never saw her again for 2 days left the keys on a table when we left. I am totally surprised that booking.com recommends the hotel.

The location. Room was quite small and had no sitting facility but it was adequate for my needs. I chose it primarily for the location

Shared bathroom. The information online was confusing and I thought I would have a private bathroom. However, the bathroom itself was nice. The only time I saw the staff was when I checked in. They couldn’t find my reservation but fortunately I had a hard copy of my confirmation and proof of prepayment on my phone

Bellissimo stabile, camera e bagno un po’ stretti. Vicinissima al centro! Possibilità di parcheggiare a bordo strada senza pagare fino alle 10 della mattina dopo!

A causa di un ritardo del volo, siamo arrivati a Craignay House tardissimo. La signora è stata gentilissima, per messaggio ci ha rassicurato e all’arrivo non abbiamo avuto alcun problema. Camera accogliente, dotata di bollitore e té/caffé per bere qualcosa di caldo al risveglio. Stanza silenziosa, letto comodo e bagno piccolino ma pulito. La posizione è eccellente, a pochi passi dal centro, dal market Tesco, senza dimenticare che alcune gite/escursioni (Rabbie’s) partono a pochi metri dalla casa della signora. Anche la stazione è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Siamo stati benissimo, torneremo sicuramente ❤️

Non hanno rifatto la camera. Non c'era possibilità di fare colazione. Letti scomodi.

Ottima posizione, era molto pulita e ordinata. Noi avevamo l’auto e per parcheggiare la guest house può darti un permesso così che puoi parcheggiare nei posti per strada gratis. Tutte le mattine avevamo a disposizione il bollitore in camera con te, caffe e latte mini size e un biscotto. Il proprietario al momento del Check-in non c’era ma al suo posto abbiamo trovato ad accoglierci una signora molto gentile e disponibile che ci ha spiegato tutto chiaramente.

The location was great

The room was not ready at check-in time for 2 hours and there was no ensuite bathroom like advertised but a bathroom down the hall. Everything is also very old and it is not worth the price

Period features and central location.

Poor communication prior to check-in; no reachable telephone number or email address provided. Felt disconcerting, when our train was delayed due to a tragic fatality and there was no way of alerting the property. Informing us where we could find the key upon arrival would have been easier for all parties concerned.

The bed and pillows were nice. I also liked the balcony.

I really did not appreciate the level of noise from the other guests. You could hear every single footstep and everyone talking. The walls were paper thing and require soundproofing. The floorboards also need to be checked and potentially uplifted and re-laid as there was an unhealthy level of creaking.

Es war schön, die Frau ist sehr nett. Lager ist perfekt, aber man muss mit den Parken aufpassen. Wir waren zufrieden 😊

The central area. The house is very beautiful and the room was quite big and comfortable.

When we arrived the owner gave us the key and we never saw her again ever after, even when we left. No breakfast and no indication where we could have one.

I’ve sent booking.com 2 emails regarding this property and have not received a response. I’ll never use booking.com again. Now you ask for my impressions on our stay? This property is not healthy or safe to stay in as there are people smoking in the house. The smoke is in the rooms and affecting the guests. I’m going to send a letter to the city of Inverness and to booking.com directly and to the guest house. We attempted to speak to the owner but they didn’t respond to us. Neither did your company, which is such poor customer service. I have asthma and I’m allergic to tobacco and both nights of our stay someone was smoking in the house. This is a health hazard for me and I was up several times both nights using my puffer and coughing. I was tired and experienced asthma symptoms both days due to your property’s complete disregard for the health of their guests. I am going to put my review on trip advisor, Google and other sites to let people know to absolutely avoid this property and also let them know that booking.com totally ignored my emails and requests for a response. Our trip to the Scottish Highlands was directly affected by this health incident and nobody cares. Such a disappointment.

Smoking in the house either by the owner or guests. Cigarette smoke experienced in house as you could smell it as soon as you walked in and seeped into our room. Affected my health and our sleep.

The location was great! Was able to park my car with a pass the hotel provided upon arrival. The room was very cosy and comfortable. It was perfect for our trip as it was a 7 min walk to a venue we planned to visit. Great for 1 night.

Velice pěkné ubytování, celkově na dobré kvalitní úrovni. Sdílené WC a koupelna perfektní, pečlivě udržované a čisté. Příchod do domu a k pokoji bezproblémový. Poloha zařízení v dobré docházkové vzdálenosti od bus i vlak nádraží (cca 15- 20 min. chůze). Objekt se nachází blízko katedrály St.Andrew´s Cathedral a supermarketu Tesco. Linkami Scottish City Link lze dojet až k jezeru Loch Ness, hradu Urquhart, a městu Port William pod nejvyšší britskou horou Ben Nevis. Doporučuji všem.

Saw my hostess once, got the basics, but the whole interaction felt rushed as she had to go out. I don’t know if this was because information about arrival time was not seen, or if I arrived later than expected dueto traffic. I ended up getting a parking ticket while parked on the st.outside the house because I went on tour without being able to find out where I could safely park.

Early check in much appreciated. Plus info re where to eat as soon as we landed. Room spotless and a great bed. Location excellent to the town.

Beautiful building and clean bedroom and bathroom. The host lady was very nice to offer me coffee in the morning and tea/cookie in the afternoon to warm up the rainy day.

Wish there were some simple egg, toast, coffee before walking out of the door in the morning.

Lovely old house with roomy and light bedrooms, I had the single room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent location next to Cathedral and a short walk into the centre. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, great room only facility.

Disapointed that despite the reviews there was no breakfast, the WiFi code was 'breakfast****' which I found amusing.

From very minute of arrival owener was the most accommodating most friendly and welcoming Gave loads of information for the reason we was there on our trip. Very clean and beautiful room highly recommended and will most definitely be returning

The location was perfect for Eden Court Theatre, the Cathedral, the river and a nice East Asian restaurant nearby. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the hot drinks and biscuits in our room. The facilities and space in the room were good. The parking was convenient for us - right outside the house and free, on a Sunday anyway. Not sure about other days.

I generally prefer places which offer a cooked breakfast and we would have had this if available at extra cost. It is also a good way to meet the hosts and possibly other guests a bit more. Of course I should have been aware of this when booking but I chose it mainly based on location, and reasonable price. We couldn't find any subtitles or settings on the TV remote and we don't hear too well, but as we were out at a show, not really a problem.

A breakfast would have been fab but this wasn't advertised on booking. Would be good to let people know that the free parking is on street and only free from 5pm to 10am daily x

Gorgeous setting in crofter farmland, the Polly hut has been tastefully and comfortably decorated. It is completely self contained to cook a meal, has a cozy wood stove and a beautiful remote setting but is close to town to drive for a meal. We ate in, kept the door open for the fresh air and slept so soundly. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. We wish we had more time to stay!
