You have to share hand towels in the bathroom, also the pace was dirty and gross with no A/C. We had to leave the place and the owner told me that I was not getting my money so I submit a complaint were booking told me to wait 30 minutes and an hour passed and never got in touch with me so my son was so scared that we had to leave and find another place where to stayed.

Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist 1 Dusche und 1 Toilette pro Stockwerk, IN DEMSELBEN RAUM; solange jemand duscht kann man die Toilette nicht benutzen, das ist sehr problematisch. Das Bett ist zu klein für zwei Erwachsene, und die Kissen sind sehr flach und nicht brauchbar. Die Klimaanlage ist zu laut (alt), um sie nachts laufen zu lassen. Die Checkin-Zeiten sind begrenzt, obwohl alles automatisiert mit Türcodes geregelt ist, was keinen Sinn macht. Die Emails mit den Checkin-Zeiten wiederholen sich und widersprechen sich.

Birdhouse was so disappointing. Their website and profile on booking.com and Google are outright lying about their facilities with wrong pictures and text: There is NO lounge area, NO rooftop terrace, NO co-working area, NO desk in our room, and the first three times I tried to find staff, the reception was closed - even though it was within official opening hours! When I asked about the lounge area and co-working space the answer from the very disengaged employee was that it was closed down during covid (they have had plenty of time since then to remove the photos then), and regarding the roof top terraze the answer was that it was part of the building but did not belong to the hostel (which I strongly believe is a lie, I think it is maybe in one of their other locations, NOT in Barcelona anyway). Besides this we were also just very disappointed about several things: Our room (two person double room) was not nearly as nice as the pictures gave the impression of - no inbuild wooden furniture. Only one bedlamp at the bed, there was one more, but it was oddly placed behind the small wardrobe, so useless. Only 2 out of 5 power outlets worked. Only 2 combined toilet and showers for five rooms (there were 3-4 people in the others of what I saw) which meant we were waiting in line especially in the morning. Further the hostel has rooms on two floors. For our floor the lock was not working, so people from the floor above came down to also use our bathrooms, while we did not have the code for the upper floor to similarly use theirs (we got the code on day 2 because we needed to use the washing machine there). Also bear in mind that all the photos of food they show do not come from a restaurant or bar within the hostel itself. This might not be outright lying, but we got the impression that this was build in and could be a cozy place to hang out. Would not recommend this place - it did not deliver - especially not when you consider how much you have to pay to stay there.

The noise from all other rooms and above / below apartments was unbearable. No sound isolation at all. Kitchen, bathroom and room cleanliness also were the bare minimum. Give then price point I was disappointed by this stay.

洗濯機、電子レンジ、部屋のクーラーを使っているひとが多いと、すぐに電気のブレーカーが落ちます。無関心だとそのまま放置する人もいます。2階は、エレベーター向かいにブレーカーがありました。部屋によるみたいですが、12の部屋はエアコンの効きが悪いです。他の部屋の宿泊者が部屋来てそう思う位です。

Nie opłaca się brać śniadań - jedzenie jest dobre, ale dostaje się jedynie kupony za które można dostać pół kanapki i napój (ten sam zestaw można kupić bezpośrednio w restauracji i kosztuje 4,50€).

Les douches, les salles de bain et la cuisine étaient également très propres et bien entretenues. Tout était très agréable et confortable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse de l’équipe. Un merci tout particulier au jeune homme souriant de la réception, qui a été très agréable et accueillant. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !

Demasiado cara para lo simple que era la habitación. Es cierto que Barcelona en general los precios son muy elevados pero por el dinero que se paga podría tener pequeños detalles que no tenía: • Echamos en falta un espejo dentro de la habitación. Ya que el baño es compartido y encima los espejos son pequeños y sin luz, podrían poner un espejo dentro de la habitación al menos. • La iluminación escasa. Solo funcionaba la luz de arriba, había interruptores que no funcionaban. Echamos en falta unas lamparitas de noche. • El aire era viejísimo, y difícil de regular. • En las fotos aparecen habitaciones con muchos muebles y la realidad es que son simples y escasas de cosas. No se corresponde. • El baño estaba reformado pero la limpieza era escasa…

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026This was an affordable family of four/private room option in good location. Aerobus and metro connections couldn't be easier and you can walk to most touristy districts. We wanted to save money during peak season and be near specific things.
This is a very basic hostel, but in the location we needed. If you want to hang out and eat or meet people, this is not that. Don't pay for breakfast; it's next door at a bar and cheaper to buy it there.

Номер изношенный. Поверхности стола, стульев, кроватей липкие. В ванной комнате в душевой плесневый грибок на плитке. По одной раковине в женской и мужской душевой на такое количество комнат крайне мало. Утром и вечером очередь в туалет. Стиральной машины так и не нашли. За такие немалые деньги ожидание было бОльшим.

The room had 4 beds, some lockers to keep your belongings safe, separate locks for each room, shared refrigerator and stove in the shared kitchen space. Shared bathrooms made things a little difficult for kids but not too bad.
