Very comfortable and restaurant very good

Needs a bit more attention to make it really lovely . Could do with a paint.

Bed mattress very old fella the springs as soon as you sat on it did not sleep well. USB port in room didn't work. Bathroom tap not fitted correctly water pressure not great in the shower. Fruit flies all around uncovered breakfast meats and cheese which were not chilled....diluting orange juice at breakfast....not good value for money paid

The accommodation was one of the worst we’ve stayed in. No hotter in the shower and the mattress was unbelievably uncomfortable and needed replacing.

Breakfast was very limited. As a coeliac I asked for some gluten free bread and was given two pitta breads.

Sehr schönes Zimmer. Der Erker gemütlich mit Sitzgelegenheiten, hier konnten wir die Abendsonne genießen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Abendessen im Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ideal um mit dem Zug nach Glasgow zu fahren!

It was beautiful hotel with very nice personal. I really liked staying there. It was good for a night.

Breakfast was veeery basic. I got lucky that I’m not eating much so it was not an issue for me. In our room we did not have hot water under the shower. It was impossible to fix fast but we got refund

La localisation. Bonne litterie. Personnel sympa et agréable.

Le petit déjeuner: très sommaire, café froid et de mauvais goût. Viennoiseries industrielles. Il faudrait les remplacer par des vrais pains au chocolat et des croissants de boulangerie.

La habitación era muy amplia y las camas cómodas.

El recibimiento no fue muy hospitalario, además había que pasar por medio del restaurante con las maletas. El desayuno fue bastante pobre, no había nada caliente y el zumo de naranja, si se le puede llamar zumo, eran polvo de naranja con agua.

La chambre était très spacieuse, avec une grande salle de bain et une baignoire. Il y avait également un petit frigo et les équipements nécessaires pour une nuit. Il y a un parking gratuit en face de l'hôtel. Le personnel était sympathique et nous avons pu profiter du restaurant juste en-dessous. Celui-ci disposait d'une belle terrasse et nous avons vraiment très bien mangé au soir.

Certains endroits de la salle de bain nécessiteraient un petit coup de peinture. Le déjeuner : Nous sommes descendus, nous étions seuls, personne pour nous accueillir et nous expliquer comment fonctionne le déjeuner. Nous avons dû demander à une femme qui nettoyait. Le déjeuner était assez basique et il y avait des oeufs crus sans aucun moyen de les cuire...

Turkish Restaurant is fantastic, food is amazing, staff are great.

Very tired rooms, had to walk through a packed restaurant with cases to get to room, tv in room didn’t work. Breakfast awful, was expecting Turkish/greek style breakfast, yogurt, fresh fruit, honey etc but there was a few bananas, supermarket multipack croissants in plastic, Luke warm very poor coffee, very disappointed.

Very spacious room

Lovely big room with big windows to let a lot of light into the room. Bathroom was good size with shower & bath. Clean & very well set out through out the hotel. Staff all friendly & helpful. Free parking & great location.

Nothing really, everything was as expected

I would stay there again,for definite.However the bed is past it's best,a new bed is needed in the room we had (the double ) And I would replace it with a queen size.Other than that it was a great stay and We will definitely be back.Everything else was spot on and the location is fantastic.Big bonus is having the restaurant downstairs.

The food was lovely can't fault it atall. There was only 1 staff member that was lovely I can't remember her name but she was from Glasgow, and a waitress. Great location lovely little town.

The photos used to show the rooms are very deceiving... The rooms and very old outdated wooden furniture that they have hand painted black. The bed is from the 70s with blood and other stains all over the base, and used bed wrap to try disguising it, the room wasn't clean there was even some ladies clothes in the wardrobe and a dirty rolled up pair of men's socks. The water when you fill the bath or use the shower has millions of black things floating in it. The floors creek all night, music blasting until 2am. The workers hoover at 3am and bash your door while doing so. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. When you go for breakfast in the morning the choice is basically just toast. The fresh orange juice is just squash and the dispensers are filthy with more floaters, a man who works there follows you staring and then sits next to you and watches you eat.

La stanza era un po spoglia, non aveva piani di appoggio per la valigia o appendiabiti, il letto era piccolino e non molto comodo. La pulizia della stanza era ottima.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden das Hotel mit kleinen Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Direkt vor dem Haus gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze, was sehr praktisch ist. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hat uns sogar die Koffer aufs Zimmer getragen. Unser Zimmer war groß, hell und durch die vielen Fenster sehr freundlich. Es war insgesamt sauber und mit einem riesigen Fernseher, einem modernen und schönen Duschbad sowie Wasserkocher, Tee und kostenlosem WLAN gut ausgestattet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. Lediglich die Lage zur Hauptstraße machte es nachts etwas lauter. Der größte Kritikpunkt war allerdings die Matratze – sie war völlig durchgelegen und man konnte jede einzelne Feder spüren. Positiv überrascht hat uns auch das türkische Abendessen im Restaurant. Geschmacklich gut und zu einem fairen Preis – hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Leider war das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück eine große Enttäuschung. Es gab ausschließlich ein türkisches Frühstück mit Fleischwurst, verschiedenen Käsesorten (unter anderem Schafskäse), Oliven, Gurken, gekochten Eiern, etwas Marmelade und lediglich einer Sorte Toastbrot. Auch der Kaffee war leider nicht gut. Wer die Möglichkeit hat, sollte das Zimmer lieber ohne Frühstück buchen und stattdessen auswärts frühstücken. Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, vor allem wegen der großen, gut ausgestatteten Zimmer und des freundlichen Personals. Mit einer besseren Matratze und einem deutlich attraktiveren Frühstück wäre die Bewertung noch höher ausgefallen.

Very clean and well equipped room, 'the only downside was a slightly broken/sinking my side of the bed. However I didn't matter much as I wasn't falling asleep sober anyway. Nice size bathroom with a modern shower. Staff was very friendly and supportive, helped me to arrange a taxi when the other very popular provider failed me.

I wouldn’t stay again

I really didn’t enjoy the stay, staff were unhelpful and took a long time to deal with issues, TV broken and clearly had been for some time, but they didn’t care had to chase up the manager for a response who said she had been too busy with diners to see me. She did eventually move my room but I was sat about for a long time and it was only due to my insistence, I felt she was not interested.

I liked how the property has an outside area for an alfresco breakfast experience.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was large and bright, well decorated. The location is beautiful, lovely area and 10 minute train to Glasgow centre.

Ideally located nice area quiet and close to amenities, the restaurant was great and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was well appointed with a restaurant and bar. Beautiful room with high ceilings, lovely furnishings.Fridge in room and generous tea and coffee tray. Very clean and it went above expectations for the price. Lovely friendly staff.

The room was clean with nice furnishings, albeit a bit sparse. Nice restaurant.

The seat at the dressing table is too low. Couldn't see the mirror when sitting down. The mattress was too soft. Breakfast was continental. There is no mention if the breakfast is cooked or continental on the booking.com site. Not a great selection, missing cold meats and pastries that a continental breakfast should have. Coffee was self-serve from a jug, and didn't taste nice.

Very large comfortable rooms . We booked 3 . Excellent spacious & modern bathrooms …. Great to find in an old Victorian building , such as this . Very warm welcome , and early check in was not a problem . Great food in the Restaurant .

Das Hotel lag gut erreichbar in einem guten Wohnviertel. Mit dem Zug braucht man 30 Minuten bis ins Zentrum von Glasgow. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr schön und sauber.

Staff were great. The room was very clean and there were spares of everything. Although a busy restaurant is downstairs I didnt hear a thing from my room. Decent amount of storage in the room too. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff are very attentive.

Water pressure in the bathroom could definitely be improved. The shower was not very powerful. The mattress needs replaced as you can hear and feel the springs.

Kamil and his entire team were absolutely brilliant, friendly and prompt service , excellent Turkish food , good full bodied Turkish wine. Will definitely return Dino

I love Hotel Baba. Its very comfortable clean and relaxed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food there is fantastic.

The only thing I wasn't happy about was that the water coming out of our cold water tap in the sink was always tepid so I wasn't happy about using it as drinking water. However I am sure if we'd mentioned it to the staff they would have supplied us with bottled water, as it was we just picked some up when we were out
