Die Hausherrin ist eine gebildete, höfliche junge Frau.. Es wurde Trinkwasser zur Verfügung gestellt, auch aus einem großen Behälter zum Abfüllen. Es gab einen Wasserkocher mit Tee und Café und mein Balkon ging in den Garten. Genug Ablageplatz..

Die Badezimmertür ging nur einen Spalt auf weil dahinter das Waschbecken hängt. Das Umfeld draußen war sehr laut und schmutzig.. Viele laute Krähen und Hunde, die den Müll frassen.. Mitten auf der Straße lag eine Riesenratte. Das war nicht die einzigste. Der Ort versinkt im Müll und es stinkt überall, dazu ist der Ort total überlaufen..

Friendly attentive staff. Great central location. Close to bars shops and beach. Good wifi. Very good value for money fridge and kettle in the room. 2 bottles of water delivered daily. Comfortable bed and great shower. Daybed on the balcony. Lovely garden with hammocks. Also very easy to find the pink building!

No ac in the room but on the garden side and well shaded also a very good ceiling fan so not uncomfortable.

Lovely clean hotel in a great location, the owner was so friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble and would always be willing to chat and she spoke excellent English The room was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable with good shower, fridge and kettle , with a lovely balcony to sit and relax. We would have no hesitation returning and recommend to anyone 🤗

It was absolutely perfect! Room is spacious, really clean with fridge, nice shower with hot water and balcony. Great location near the beach. Owner is super nice and extremely helpful. Laundry service is also available. This was the best place we stayed on our trip to India

Unprofessional staff. Cancelled my booking without even calling once. When I called them they told me we have sent email. After that asked me to pay advance. I asked them at what rate? To which they didn't replied. I didn't pay since they already gave room to someone else as told by them and I stayed in another hotel.

Tutto perfetto. Homestay in pieno centro a Palolem Beach, sulla via principale e a 2 minuti dalla spiaggia. Il personale è estremamente gentile. La camera bella spaziosa, pulitissima, balcone e acqua calda in bagno. Avevamo prenotato senza aria condizionata e con nostra sorpresa ci hanno fatto un upgrade in una camera con aria condizionata anche se devo dire che la camera rimaneva comunque molto fresca. Mini frigo in camera e bollitore con te e caffè. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale

Lovely stay here for 3 weeks.The owner is so amazing .The best host I have ever had the pleasure to stay with IMHO. Nothing is too much trouble and such a lovely lady.The staff she employs are also very polite and exceptionally good at their jobs.The whole place is absolutely spotless and a credit to the owner and staff. I would highly recommend Alegro as the perfect place to stay in Palolem, for cleanliness, attention to detail and location.

Dogs are barking a lot in the night, but it is like that everywhere in Palolem.

Great location, off of the main road so it wasn't too noisy, a direct dirt path to the beach from my room. Lots of tropical greenery around. Everything in the room worked well and the bed was comfortable. The woman who runs the place has a great calm energy and is very helpful.

Di questa struttura ci è piaciuto tutto! La posizione, la pulizia, la cura nei dettagli, il balconcino con affaccio sul giardino pieno di palme. Ma a fare la differenza è senza alcun dubbio la proprietaria: di una gentilezza, cordialità e bontà rara! Eravamo gli unici nella struttura poiché fuori stagione, ci è stato fatto l’upgrade alla camera più grande, ci è stata data la possibilità di tenere la camera anche dopo l’orario di check out fino al pomeriggio e senza sovrapprezzo, il servizio lavanderia incluso nel prezzo del soggiorno. Che dire, tutto perfetto! Il villaggio di Palolem è davvero carino con una spiaggia selvaggia e immensa. Torneremo sicuramente!

Clean comfortable room in the centre of Palolem, with direct access to the beach only 2 min walk away!

Gul, the host was lovely, very sweet and helpful. Room was clean and had a lovely balcony with daybed for relaxing. Good shower and plenty of storage. Ideal location, short walk from beach and on the main road for shops. Very peaceful stay and felt very safe.

Location good. Owner is very nice and helpful. Plenty of water delivered to the room daily. Fridge and air con very useful. There is a night watch man which is comforting when you're a woman staying on your own at times. Restaurants nearby are good - especially Singh's family restaurant. The paneer lababdar is amazing. Junos Gelato 2 doors up was a regular for me. Get a loyalty card as you will go again! Nireas and The Mill are great spots for breakfast.

The noisy crows in the garden but that can't be helped!

The room was a good size and the AC was really effective. The bed was huge and the view of the garden was great with coconut palms and lots of crows (they didn't make too much noise). You could walk from the guest house straight to the beach down a sandy path so you could go the whole time without wearing flip flops if you wanted. The garden faces west so you get to see great sunsets.

Hostess is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed. Balcony was a lovely extra as well as fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Definitely recommend staying here!

Spacious, clean room with comfortable bed. Direct path to the beach. On the Main Street but no traffic noise. Very close to many shops and cafes. Gun, the Manager, is helpful and attentive to guests’ needs.

Was woken on most nights by packs of barking dogs. Crows and other birds are noisy well before dawn. Leaking shower kept bathroom floor wet. Despite Gun’s best efforts the plumber did not fix the problem. Apparently there is a lack of reliable tradespeople in Palolem.

Friendly check in staff. It’s a little hard to find as the name on the street sign is actually Lalegro which the locals know it by as well. Plus there is another place close by also called Alegro Holiday Resort.

Alegro homes was nice place situated on the main strip and close to the beach as well the owner was very friendly and helpful and also the bus stops right by her place of you decide to take the local bus.

Great location, close to the Main Street and a very short walk to the beach. From the moment I booked the owner was very helpful and just really friendly, she even did my washing for me on arrival which was a lifesaver. My room always got fresh water and cleaned when asked. By no mean is this luxury accomodation but it is great value for such a good spot, basic amenities but very clean and lots of room, I even had a balcony overlooking the garden which was quite peaceful. Highly recommend!

Our host Gune was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We were frequently asked if we needed anything. Bottled water was given freely at our daily request. There was 24/7 security. All the staff were polite, and friendly. Everyone seemed happy in their work.

We could not fault the place. It was spotless. Just a short walk away from the beach.

It is a really nice place to stay. The building is kept extremely clean. My room had a fridge and they provide bottles of water at no extra charge. Very comfy bed and a balcony which was great. Two minute walk to the beach.

The property is run by a lovely lady called Gul. On arrival she was very friendly and helpful throughout the duration of my stay. The rooms are very clean with fast, reliable Wi-Fi and stocked with 2 litres of bottled water everyday - free of charge. The aircon was efficient, as was the ceiling fan. My room had a balcony with a garden view, which was spectacular. The location is ideal for the main shops and restaurants as well as being situated next to a path that leads directly to the beach. An ideal base for a stay in Palolem and the surrounding beaches of Patnem and Agonda.

Gul thank you so much for taking care of us excellence service great location minutes from the beach minutes from the Main Street. 5 stars ***** Shops to visit Nomads on the main road Jewellers, Tibetan gongs singing bowls Buddhas so many beautiful items, crystals it’s Aladdins den just ask for Tarik and Farooq great guys. Another shop to visit is BLUSH on the main road sells jewellery singing bowls prayer flags bags, clothes etc. I had some tops and trousers made excellent service thank you Kunsang and Jo Jo.

There was nothing to dislike. The property was excellent. Gul was excellent such a lovely lady so kind and helpful felt safe being a single lady travelling.

The owner is absolutely lovely. The rooms are very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We had a room with a garden view which was lovely for morning/evening time when not at the beach. There is a daily room cleaning if you wish for it. They also clean all the patio areas daily which is great. We had a room that was between the beach and the main strip which is great as you don’t get woken by the busyness but are close to everything. They have use extra bottles of water also free of charge which was fantastic as we had a mini fridge in the room also. We also had AC which was a bonus but the fans in the rooms are definitely good enough to go without. Could not recommend it more highly, we enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for an extra 5 nights and they gave us a great deal and did everything they could to ensure we could stay in the same room.

I can’t score this place highly enough. The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, especially the owner who is the most wonderful lady. She answered lots of questions, helped me with laundry, and even allowed me to shower and relax in a different room on the day of check out when I had a late train. The room was very comfortable and very clean, with a kettle & free tea, coffee and water which I thought was a nice touch. The property is only 20m from the beach which is fantastic, and has a beautiful shady garden with hammocks that you can relax in if the beach gets too hot (which it does if you’re from the UK/Ireland) There are so many things I enjoyed about my stay here so I’ll just say a big THANK YOU!
