Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The place is easily accessible with private entrance and a lot of privacy.
Just remember that this is an Alter Priesterhof. Some things are a bit harder to look clean instead of a brand new badroom. And remember; traveling during spider season means spiders are there, no matter how good you clean.

Reviewed May 27, 2024We had a great time at Alter Priesterhof! The property was well equipped, clean, idyllic and quiet. We like cooking our own meals, which was no problem in this well equipped kitchen. The owner even gave us (plenty of) eggs from the chickens that roam around the garden. It's also very quiet at night, the only sound coming from birds chirping. There's also a tv - equipped with Chromecast - which is perfect for casting your own tv shows. We would like to give a special compliment to the owner, who is one of the most hospitable and helpful people you can have as a host. Even though the property was very good, he's still putting in a lot of effort in further developing it. Not just in property maintenance but he's also creating a translation tool using AI to improve conversations with his guests. Overall, we had a very nice stay here.
It takes a bit of time to get warm water from the shower. But it'll get there eventually.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2022The location entrance is a small street after the church and then you come into a small idyllic paradise garden after you make a left at the turn.
Yhe place is a kind of work in progress (your accommodation is fine): there is no information sign or sign of any reception, the guy is very very kind but speaks only German and Danish and very limited English. Tell him when you arrive and everything will be just fine. The church goes nuts at 7. AM and the tv works with some kind of dongle on your mobile device.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2022The Alter Priesterhof is an idyllic cottage that feels like a hidden gem. It’s in the middle of a village, near the church, about 60meters from a road to which it is connected via a lane lined with trees. The garden around it offers shade and privacy. The flatscreen TV is connected with a Chromecast, so in the evenings we could binge on Netflix. There’s a modern kitchen, with modern appliances, it’s spacy and cozy and overall very clean. The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very, very nice indeed.
It was all good. The owner considers it a work in progress, but it’s almost perfect as it is now.
