Bel appartement, bien situé et propre !

Un séjour en famille parfait ! Le Rivage Appartement est vraiment très bien conçu, super bien équipé et d'une propreté au top. L'endroit est calme et tranquille, tout en étant à deux pas de la plage, des restos et du supermarché. Un grand merci à l'hôte pour son accueil très sympa et sa grande disponibilité. Nous recommandons vivement à 100 % !

This apartment is very spacious and comfortable. It’s super quiet. I don’t think we saw anyone the whole time we were there. The beds were comfortable, and the back yard with a view of the mountains is really nice. We enjoyed sitting on the patio the most. We had some issues with our flight so we checked in late and our luggage had to be delivered two days later, but the host was quick to respond and help us out. It’s an easy self check-in appartment, and we had everything that we needed. With a car, you can be at a gorgeous beach in 10 minutes. It’s a very comfortable apartment in a quiet area, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Moderne Einrichtung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Garten ist nicht wirklich brauchbar gewesen, aber nett anzusehen + schönes Bergpanorama. Reibungslose Abwicklung mit den Besitzern, auch ein früherer Check-in wurde ermöglicht. Alles super!

Leicht chemischer Geruch im Innenraum, vermutlich eine Mischung aus Reinigungsmittel & insektenvernichtung…war aber auszuhalten.

Het huisje had een heerlijke veranda.

De druk van het water was laag, de kastjes van de keuken stonken naar schimmel onder de gootsteen. Er was te weinig toiletpapier en theedoeken werden niet meer verschoond na de eerste dag.

GREAT stay! We have been traveling for a few weeks and this was one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The apartment was well stocked, had 2 large bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean. The grounds outside were beautiful and private. The entrance to the apt is behind another apartment building. Vincent & Luke were helpful when we had a change in our stay and to cancel a night. They were responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was also nice, close to La Morne, but also a short drive from Chamarel, a grocery store and restaurants. Go get some pizza from Mira at 2010 Eatery.

Exactly as in the pictures- perfect location to explore Chamarel region. Easy check-in! Would recommend!

New and well-appointed unit: there was a slight smell of fresh paint when we entered. Spacious, with modern furnishings. Good parking. The kitchen included all we needed, and more. Lots of plug adaptors for European users. Quiet neighborhood, but well-located. Relatively close to restaurants and a supermarket. Wonderful communication with the owners, which live at a bit of a distance, but are knowledgeable about the area and very helpful with advice.

The Google directions are a mess: on the phone: Google was sending us to the backstreet parallel to B9. We stopped there and could not find any signs of the house. Had to walk around the corner to see the apartment signs -- which are nice and clear for those arriving going west on Avenue des Orchidees (which is the more direct and logical way, but Google does not indicate it). Maybe the owners could advise travelers to turn west from B9 directly onto the Avenue des Orchidees, rather than follow the more roundabout (and potholed) route Google recommends. Once inside the unit, we were unable to see the Wi-Fi signal. After troubleshooting for a while, we realized the power was off to the Wi-Fi router. We had to turn it on manually, after which everything was fine. It is possible that the router does not turn back on when there is a power outage -- or if the switch near the power plug is turned off.

My only preference would have been a more comfortable mattress but I get that this be a personal thing 🙏🏽

Clean, easy communication with owners, good bedrooms. Small but well decorated and efficient

Great apartment, has everything you need and is very well looked after. We enjoyed being flexible about cooking and eating out and found the location very convenient to see places around Le Morne.

We had a lovely time at Le Rivage. The kitchen was well equipped, the apartment very big and clean with all the facilities one may need. We loved the terrace and the garden. Good location, 1.5 km from the supermarket and not too close to the beach but still okay as long as you rent a scooter. A special mention about Sabrina, the lady who welcomed us: she is very kind and polite, she even came with us to the bus stop and made sure we caught the right bus to Port Louis😊
