The location is great. It is close to the beach. Excellent restaurant/bar close by and a great bakery. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Plenty of dining/sitting space. The host was very helpful. I chose it because it's pet friendly. The garden is sheltered and has lots of space.
the space and facilities
a little hard to find
It was clean and cosy and great walking distance to the beach it had everything we needed for a stay and it being a bungalow was great to have with the kids
Lovely clean house with everything you need, owner great to deal with, nice location.
Perfect location for site seeing around other parts of Donegal
The small shower
We are delighted with this location, it is already the second time we have returned to them. Clean, beautiful, exceptional position and view
The location was perfect and the house was great! Love the fireplace!
The shower was a little tough to figure out and the temperature would always fluctuate
The location was the only thing that was nice about this place. It has a lovely view of the water. We did not stay though.
We didn't know where the key was located, didn't even know we were at the right house until we double checked the GPS and the pics of the house. The house was unlocked when we arrived, and it was cold and damp, and had not been aired out so smelled musty throughout. No information was given verbally or in print about the home, and when we tried to get ahold of the owner, the phone number would not work for calls. Did text them, and it showed that it went thru twice, however we got no response. We did have to use my friends phone to contact them, as mine was not working in country due to issues with the carrier, but I wrote in the text that it was from me. There was swampy water in the kettle when we went to make tea while we tried to figure out what to do (I did clean that for them), as we had no instructions on anything, especially the heating. We did not feel comfortable at all here, and found alternative lodgings, and left.
The view is amazing. Shane, the owner, is very helpful and matched all our needs. Very charismatic.
I believe it's more beautiful to visit during summer, more things to do. But if you want silence, highly recommend. As a recommendation for the property owner, he could make it more Christmas friendly. But not necessarily
Fantastic location - really close to the beach, and a great spot to stay when exploring the rest of this part of Donegal. Shane was great at welcoming us and making sure we had everything. The garden was brilliant for the kids to run about in. House itself was really comfortable.
Everything was good and very clean comfortable beds and all facilities needed in the cottage.a
Location was lovely, view of the sea. Also two inns serving food only a few minutes away.
The bathroom needs updating. The grouting needs redoing. The bedlinen was not great quality.
All good and excellent. Peaceful ✌️ .
The location is fabulous, outstanding views over the Atlantic Way. Stunning sunset and perfect places to dine nearby.
Nothing
It had everything we needed for our week beside the beach for my 4 children and I and is in an excellent location. It is also very spacious with 3 good size bedrooms and 7 beds. Plenty of safe space outside for the children to play around and in the large back garden. About 10 mins walk to the beach with children and a pushchair. It was home from home with towels, bedding, toiletries, washing and cleaning products all included. Lovely family to deal with, very helpful and attentive.
It is an older house so a bit dated if you prefer more modern but it did not impact on our holiday at all.
the location was fantastic, 2 minute drive to the beach
nothing
The property has a fabulous garden and is a really great location. We had our 2 dogs with us and enjoyed walks on the beach. The house had everything we needed whether it was a sunny or a rainy day. We really enjoyed our stay.
