I liked that it was secured, with guards at the entrance, all the employees were super friendly and most helpful. Loved the restaurant area overlooking the pool and the sea. We were lucky and could see the sea from both sides of our balcony. I also loved that the rooms were cleaned daily. The pool was amazing.

Some Aussie tourists drinking at the pool bar, choosing music they like , being loud and obnoxious. Nobody of the staff members dared to tell them to behave a bit, to not disturb other guests.

My second time here personally my partners fourth. Each time we have been the staff are friendly the property is nice and clean

We stayed one night because the toilet was broken and we werent offered to move rooms, they tried to "fix" it but it broke again. Air conditioner didnt work properly, tv remote didnt work. Bed was like sleeping on a park bench. Lady at front desk was rude and didnt really care when we checked out 2 nights early. No compensation offered for the inconvenience. Resort can't even pass as shabby-chic. It was just shabby. Awful. Do not stay here.

The breakfast room has great views of the gardens and the beach beyond. The chef cooking the eggs did a good job and all the staff were delightful.

There always seemed to be stairs.

TV too small for size of room. While advertised as beachfront doesn't mention beach very dangerous so not safe to swim. Hotel somewhat dated.

Staff are all beautiful and the breakfast was awesome. I slept very well which is nice to be able to say. We were upgraded on our first night as our room was not ready. And the upgraded room was something else. The bathroom was stunning. And the bed fit for a queen!

The toilet in the upgraded room was really smelly. I think the smell was coming out of the vent and it was really bad, almost unbearable. Luckily, it was in an enclosed room. But that trapped the smell. The second room smelt a bit damp and the hotel itself looks like it needs a bit of love.

It’s a genuinely comfortable Balinese resort offering true Balinese hospitality. The staff are so friendly, kind and make every effort to make your stay comfortable.

The hotel overall was a great place to stay. The gardens are lovely and well kept.

The Liptons yellow label tea at breakfast. The tea in the room was much better.

Some of the staff were nice and room was clean.

The place seems quite run down and dated which you cant tell from the pictures. There's weird trust issues with the staff where they'd come knock on our door in the evening to pay for the day's expenses that we had charged to the room. The massage staff weren't friendly and one of them followed us to the reception to make sure we paid (didn't trust us putting it on our room?). The massage bed smelt mouldy. Our room had mosquito's coming in from somewhere and nothing to stop them.

Grand Balisani was amazing, the location, the view, the staff, the food, the service. 12 out of 10. We would definitely return. We arrived at 8.45am in check in wasn't till 2pm, the staff were very accomadating and we were in our room by 10am. Some reviews on here state the place was run down. This is not true. We had a garden suite and 2 x deluxe suites. This place was exactly what I expected in bali, nice wood furniture, thatched roof. Beautiful pool and views

We loved everything except the mozzie but that was beyond the resorts control, take mozzie spray

This property is old world Bali, we loved the spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful grounds, restaurant, spa, pool, room service. You pay a little more for this property, but it was very comfortable and accommodating. It is right on the beach, with enough restaurants along to have a choice of eating places.

I’ve stayed here several times. I love the location, the rooms are very comfortable. Staff are great and it’s very well priced. The pool is lovely and gets lots of sun.

Der Pool und die Lage am Meer waren super. Auch wenn das Hotel schon ein bisschen älter war, hat es einen netten Charme. Grade die Gartenanlage lädt zum wohlfühlen ein

Die Sani Villa mit einem Schlafzimmer war perfekt für uns( Familie 1 Kind 10 jahre alt). Tatsächlich sieht man das auf den Bildern nicht so deutlich. Es sind zwei separate Gebäude verbunden über den privaten Terrassen/Poolbereich. Einmal das Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmer(Dusche, Badewanne und WC) und das andere Gebäude "Wohnzimmer" wird es genannt, hat mit einem Wohnzimmer allerdings wenig zu tun. Es ist ein Einzelbett drin mit Badezimmer(Dusche und Wc) In beiden Zimmern/Gebäuden ist ein TV( braucht kein Mensch)

Recht große Spalten bei Türen und Fenstern, unmöglich alles komplett zu schließen. Habe auch gebeten, dass ein Fenster repariert wird, wurde leider nicht gemacht. Kein Mückennetz im "Wohnzimmer" beim Bett, auch nicht auf Nachfrage. Löcher im Netz im Schlafzimmer, wurde aber gewechselt auf Nachfrage.

Everything was going smooth until at checkout time they charged us one face towel which got stained while removing charcoal mask. I mean that could have been ignored and this never happened with me anywhere else in the world

Our toilet leaked several times throughout our stay, the room was moldy, dirty curtains and smelt. Stairs everywhere and had to carry own luggage. Overall not worth the money. Breakfast was same every day

I love that they have a nice pool big villa, and bar service at the pool , good breakfast and beach right in front and the staff is great.

Well my check out supposed was supposed to be beetwen 12 and 1 pm according to my booking but it ended up being they asked to check out at 12pm so i had rush, because in my reservation it said i could stay till 1 pm o was still trying to enjoy the hotel but then had to rush out, i think that is misleading to say on your booking that you can check out beetwen 12 pm and 1 pm and then rush your guest out. And well the bathroom sink had big ants constantly and well that was not normal. So that was the only things i did not like.

I don’t really understand the negative reviews from some other guests. The resort has been around for more than 20 years, and it still has the wonderful Balinese charm that we love so much. It is true that you can see the hotel has some signs of age, and it would be convenient if the windows were easier to close. But at the same time, these little imperfections are also part of its unique charm and character. You are paying less than €100 per night during high season for a beachfront room with a beautiful sea view. It is not a modern 5-star luxury hotel costing more than €300 per night, but if you appreciate authentic Balinese charm, I can definitely recommend it. The staff are extremely friendly, the location is excellent, and there are around five great warungs right next door. I would happily come back here again.

The sliding doors of the rooms could use some maintenance from time to time, and the shutters on the sliding windows as well, as they can be a little difficult to close.

De ligging is super! Aan het strand en met heel veel winkeltjes en strandtentjes om te eten. De massages zijn super lekker en helemaal niet duur. Het is 7,50 ongeveer voor een uur massage. Gezellig en middel groot hotel wat zorg voor knusheid.

Echt het enige als ik wat kan zeggen is dat ze niet uit hun zelf helpen met je koffer van de trap tillen als je uit checkt. Als je aankomt doen ze dit wel.

Hotel położony w pobliżu plaży, przyjemny basen, pokój przestronny z wygodnym łóżkiem i dużą łazienką. Ceny w hotelowym barze bardzo dobre. Obiekt z ładnym ogrodem i dobrze utrzymywany. Spędziliśmy bardzo miło czas. Śniadania lokalne, smaczne, chociaż wybór nie za duży, ale wystarczający.

The facilities were well worn but in good enough condition.

Spacious big rooms. Beautiful koi ponds and nice pool area. Most staff are generally smiling and friendly, always willing to assist.

Lots of mosquitos. Checkout was not pleasant and was the only negative experience, Our bags were left in the wrong area while we waited for transfer to arrive.. No elevators or escalators, older guests will struggle with the stairs.

Putu and Paulina where outstanding on our stay. Staff at reception outstanding, think her name Stef with glasses helped us in April when we stayed for a month with a family crisis...came back in June for a month to finish holiday on a better note.

On Monday nights boom boom music from restaurant down at the beach. Very loud until late at night
