Design of the room, VERY good location.

In women's shower, two out of three don't lock properly because of water damage on the lock. Keep in mind there is no elevator and hostel is on 3rd-4th floor. Also the room's design is good but it is cramped so if you have a lot of heavy luggage, think again.

Perfect location not far from Busan station, and the price I paid made it one of the best deals available for me to stay in Busan. It is a very cute hostel and the breakfast was nice as well. The room was tidy, and the beds were comfy. Overall a good eperience, I would say worth a solid 8/10

The bathrooms were slightly underwhelming maybe, not a problem but probably after staying in a hostel in Seoul before where the bathrooms were superb, these felt fine and overall were clean but didn't really impress me.

La ubicación es excelente. Tienes la torre de Seoul, Yondusan park, el mercado de pescado de Jagalchi, la estación de metro de Nampo y BIFF square a distancia de minutos caminando.

Trae tus propias pantuflas. Son de tela y es una ciudad costera, quedan con el sudor y olor de las personas que las usaron antes.

La situation même si c’est le coin le plus touristique mais je n’avais qu’à regarder…

En arrivant… le personnel ne trouvait pas ma réservation mais bon… passons… La chambre deluxe n’a que le nom… elle fait littéralement 2x4m… avec une valise et un sac à dos, ça ne passe pas… Le lit est bien! Mais il N’y a que le drap housse… on vous passe un couvre lit d’un ancien temps et une couette (sans housse de couette)… sans drap… niveau hygiène… on a connu mieux… Je demande des draps… la personne ne comprend pas (elle est chinoise et ne parle Pas Français), elle en réfère au manager qui dit que les draps (uniquement une taie d’oreiller et le drap housse) sont en place et qu’il n’y a rien d’autre! La salle de bain… une épreuve : de la moisissure, pas de panier ou d’endroit pour poser ses affaires… les toilettes au nombre de 2 pour une dizaine de personnes sont sale… L’isolation est inexistante, on entend à travers les murs et le pire est la porte qui laisse passer les allers et venus des autres voyageurs le matin… J’allais oublier le petit dej : des oeufs dans le frigo et une bouteille de jus d’orange… et vous pouvez vous faire un café… je n’appelle pas ça un petit déjeuner. Je ne comprends pas les avis positifs élogieux sur cet hébergement!

清潔で駅までのアクセスが良く、周辺は美味しいレストランも多く快適でした。わたしは足が悪く3階は辛かったのですが事前に連絡したら助けてくれると言われ荷物を持ってもらったりベッドチェンジしてもらい、何とか3泊過ごせました。スタッフが優しく安心できました。値段が値段ですが朝食まで出して頑張っていると思いました。欲を出しても仕方ありません。次回もベッドが配慮があるならリピートします。ありがとうございました。

I had a wonderful stay at Elephant Hostel in Nampo, Busan. The host was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made me feel very welcome. The guesthouse has a great atmosphere and is perfectly located for exploring Busan. Everything was clean and nice & there was also free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was free and the options were limited but great! The room was small, clean, and comfortable. Basically no noise at night from others staying at the hostel. I stayed at the hostel with a friend. We were 18 and 19 and it was our first time traveling independently. The Elephant Hostel was the perfect choice for us. It was in a great location to easily travel to popular parts of Busan. It is great for solo or small groups who want a place to stay where they are independent. There is also a floor for females only, but my friend and I did not stay there. The female only floor is where breakfast is hosted, so everyone has access to that floor. I also loved talking to and meeting new people at breakfast or in community areas. Would definitely stay again if I was ever in Busan.

Something to be aware of for foreign travelers who might be unfamiliar with this: In some restrooms in Korea you cannot flush toilet paper. You must throw it in a provided trash bin. This is the case at the Elephant Hostel. The garbage bag was taken out every day and the bathrooms are cleaned daily as well. This isn't something that was negative, it was just something I didn't know about until I got there. Just writing this in the review so international travelers are prepared for this.

I extended one night because of a tour I booked. My last night was way better but just because I had the dorm for myself. Other guest didn’t take care about roommates during the other nights.

Der Dusch und Toiletten Bereich bei den Herren war nicht gerade sehr schön.

Chambre en dortoir mixte impeccable, literie confortable et propre. Intimité préservée grâce aux rideaux. Le rooftop et le petitdej sont super. 2 serviettes de douche et boule quies mis à disposition.

L’état de la salle de bain est décevante par rapport au reste de l’hostel. Les sèches cheveux sont raccommodés au scotch, les murs et les plafonds ont de la moisissure, les portes de la douche ne ferment pas tellement que le métal s’est oxydé.

+ Good amenities. Breakfast is tasty. + Cosy atmosphere. + great location.

- the bathrooms need upgrading. Not enough mirrors and all the showers empty into one drain right underneath the sink.

We liked everything. The host was really nice and so friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. Its so close to the subway station and some markets.

The only thing is the female bathroom had like a sewage smell the whole time, but the place its self is really clean.

The guest!

This place was horrible! It's only good to meet other travelers of all ages and nationalities. However the hostel staff consist mostly of young volunteer who are not serious about their responsibilities. One volunteer name Juygee left her clothes in one of the three bathrooms overnight into the early morning, preventing paying guest access to the shower. When I mentioned it to Juygee that the showers are for guest and The hostel isn't worth its cost. The mattresses are awful, don't expect good rest.

저는 용두산공영주차장(전기차 할인, 일주차 7500원)에 차 두고 충전 해가면서 주변은 다 걸어다녔는데, 깡통시장 야시장 매일 가고, 보수동 책방 골목도 가고, 부산 근현대박물관, 자갈치시장 등 걸어다니기에 위치가 좋았어요. 부평 번화가 구경도 재밌었어요. 방과 화장실, 주방 모두 깨끗하고 조용했고, 커튼으로 침대 구분되는 것, 개별 조명과 콘센트 모두 편리했고, 샤워실 개별 칸도 좋았어요. 옥상도 깨끗하고 편리해서 모든 것이 좋았네요. 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 따뜻해서 정말 잘 지내다 왔어요. 다음에 부산 가면 또 갈 거에요.

1Room 2 Beds was comfy, the Fridge to use what we want for breakfast, Clothes washing Service and fresh towels every day, we could freely come and go as we wanted and when we had questions there was someone at the counter. The mood of the Hotel was relaxed which makes you feel at Home.

Todo está perfecto. La ubicación está cerca de la estación Nampo, además pasan muchos camiones que te llevan a cualquier punto turistico. La zona es tipo Myongdong pero con menos gente. Las camas y el baño están limpios, la regadera está cómoda porque tienen una canasta para poner tus cosas y no se mojen. El personal muy amable.

とてもいい立地です。 スタッフの方もとても優しくて、 朝ごはんは無料でパンや卵があります。 人気なので朝は混みます。 部屋もとても綺麗です。

私の確認不足でしたが、小学生の息子とは女子部屋に入れないということで、息子のみドミトリーを別にとって宿泊することになりました。 たまたま友人が同じドミトリーを取っていたから良かったものの、小学生の息子のみがドミトリーに泊まるのは難しかったと思います。

私たちを出迎えた女性スタッフはとても感じが良かった。 自分で好きにたまごを料理する朝ごはんも良かった。 部屋は掃除が行き届いていてきれい。 ロケーションは最高。

排水の匂いがずっと気になった。 特に4階、共有スペースはゆっくり過ごしたくない匂い。 あと、防音性はない。 階下のカラオケの声はよく聞こえた。 ゲストは皆静かに過ごしていたので眠りを邪魔されりほどではなかったけど。

J’ai tout aimé! 😍☺️ Les chambres ressemblent parfaitement aux photos et sont super confortables. La literie, les rideaux opaques. Franchement parfait. Le côté un peu plus intimiste des chambres est un grand +. En effet, on était seulement 3 dans ma chambre et honnêtement, pour une guesthouse, il y avait très rarement du bruit dans les couloirs après minuit. L’espace salle de bain est incroyable, il y a plusieurs douches et plusieurs toilettes et tout est très bien pensé. Il y avait un petit bac à l’intérieur de la douche pour y mettre ses affaires et éviter qu’elles ne soient mouillées ou qu’elle ne traînent. J’y ait passé des super nuits et y ait fait de super rencontres. Entre ma roomate et une volontaire adorable (Puujee) qui s’assurait toujours que l’on passe un excellent séjour.

Peut être les bruits jusque tard dans la pièce attenante à notre chambre qui donnait sur la salle de petit déjeuner. Mais ça ne m’a pas dérangé plus que ça parce que j’ai le sommeil très lourd. Une fois endormie, j’entendais plus rien!

Good location, very friendly staff, great self serve breakfast each morning, and a cool rooftop! Rooms were modern and comfortable.

The dorm I was in had two down beds which was only a little awkward for privacy, as there was a shared wall between them to roll up and down. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a quite strong smell for my entire stay, maybe due to plumbing in Busan and the area but it may have been nice to have some sort of air fresheners in there.

For anyone looking to stay in Busan, look no further! This is the place to be. I was there only for a 25 hours for a flight layover and it was the best experience all because of Sung and Jin Seok and a volunteer, Puujee. They are such wonderful people who showed me around and I’m forever grateful for those memories! The hostel itself is amazing, great environment, location!

Bed sheets were dirty with lot of hairs and the bathroom is not well designed with a fully wet ground and only one sink.

The breakfast was poorly done with a limited supply for eggs, weirdly. Bathrooms facilities weren't very good because their shampoo absolutely destroyed my hair. They gave me old used slippers, which didn't feel good either.

交通非常方便，公交地铁都非常近。房间非常干净卫生，提供厨房和早餐，洗澡也有很多房间热水很足，房间空调也很足。住这里很容易交到朋友，客人和老板人都非常好，聊天氛围很好留下了很好的回忆。

Such a great place to stay! I had an amazing experience both staying here and traveling. The guesthouse is clean and cozy. It’s warm in winter with heating, and electric blankets are provided, which was a big plus. The bathrooms and toilets are always clean, with daily cleaning, and there’s plenty of hot water for showers. There’s a shared kitchen, and they provide lots of free food like bread, instant noodles, eggs, butter, chocolate spread, strawberry jam, etc. The host is super nice, and the volunteers are friendly and welcoming. In the evenings, people usually hang out together, chat, and watch TV, so it’s easy to meet travelers from all over the world.

I had a great experience here!the staffs all are very friendly and nice! The facility here is good!they provide extra towels during the stay,also free breakfast:) The most important thing is the location is so good,it only takes 2 mins to get the metro station and 10mins to arrive the BUSAN STATION by bus or metro, also many delicious restaurants around here! I love it!high recommended!

This hostel location is very convinient, we can walk 2 minutes to Nampo station. Bed here is very comfortable, I had one great night with deep sleeping here. Surroundings is quiet and the hostel provides earplugs. The bathroom and toilet here is always clean without strange smell. Also the owner and staffs are very kind and warm hearted. My luggage is too much, they helped me carry them and recommended me some restaurants. Breakfast is from 7 to 10am, we can self service with egg, bread, milk, juice, all very fresh. And I bought some food from market to cook as they have the kitchen!By the way, the bed design here is the best in the hostels I have stayed in, space is also wipe enough. The next time I arrive at Busan I deside to choose it again!

立地最高。スタッフもいろいろ相談に乗ってくれる。フリーの水、キッチンなどありがたい。タオル補充もたくさん。 朝食で牛乳食パン卵ヌテラピーナツバターなどフリーであり、台所で料理できたので卵料理も出来た。癒しの時間でもあった。

シャワーの難易度が高すぎる。温度調節が難しく、かつ勝手に変動する。シャワー室の鍵は全てできない状態。トイレの匂いが共用スペースに充満してるかも。 四階の飲み物はコーヒーのみだったので、お茶やミルクなども置いてもらえたら助かる。

It was a fun location near the Gwangbok-ro Fashion Street and holiday lights. It was convenient to get to the Lotte building for amenities as well.

The property advertised laundry, but we never saw a single staff person to give our laundry to. No self service laundry was available. We messaged the host and were told to give it to the staff. However, no staff was present at any time during our stay. The ability to do laundry was pretty important at this point in our trip. I selected this property partially because laundry was listed as a service. I had to wash clothes in the sink in order not to be traveling back home in dirty clothes.

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located near a metro station. Highly recommended for budget travelers staying in Busan.

Location convenient to BIFF square and Nampo centre. Staff was lovely , the girls really took care of every service aspect.

Shower was not efficient with hot water. Some bunk beds are too close to the heater so inconvenient to sleep there. Luckily there was availability in another room so they were able to shift me.
