The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with a great view on the sea and mountains. Fredrik the owner is super duper hospitable and friendly!!

A lovely apartment in a great location. It was clean and had a lovely views from the lounge albeit there's currently a ship docked to the right side which slightly obscured the view towards the end of the fjord. The kitchen was well equipped but doesn't have a toaster or microwave. It does however have a dishwasher which was useful if you're eating in house as eating out is expensive! There's 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk and a pizza/pasta restaurant within 5 minutes walk. The bedroom had a double bed ( felt like a 5ft size) and a single bed. The bed was soft but comfortable. Fredrik was a good host offering assistance if required. We found the best way to get from the airport to the apartment was via public bus ( not the airport bus). The Svipper app is a must for purchasing tickets and bus timetables/ routes. There's a discount for the 67+ adults. Bus 20/24 to the bus terminal (1 stop) and then either a 33 or 34 to Solbakken stop is then a couple of minutes walk to the apartment. All easy to access and easy check-in. There's too much light around the city/apartment to really see the Northern Lights but we took the cable car and persisted until 22.30 when we saw an amazing light show.

Everything about this place is perfect. Walking 3 mins to supermarket. Great view of tromso nature. Room was comfy to sleep at perfect temperature. Huge space and clean.

No lift to bring up heavy luggages to level 2.

il letto per 2 persone era molto stretto, erano due materassi singoli inseme ma erano troppo piccoli. in più dal centro la casa dista 25 minuti a piedi, assolutamente fattibile però non è il massimo se stai per pochi giorni come abbiamo fatto noi. ma in generale tutto bellissimo!

I think the highlight of Aurora residence is the amazing window view. Most of our time was spent gazing out the window :) And, of course, walking to the city. The communication with Fredrik was prompt, friendly and very useful. Aaaand I absolutely adored the mattress and duvet, which were very cosy. Best sleep I've had in a while. Oh, and it was very close to a shop, which was useful.

I don't really have anything to say around this. I think the place had everything needed.

Aurora Wave Residence had the beautiful view to see the ocean and mountain, everything is so good and cozy. Fredrik is a very kind person as well! I spend my best time with my girlfriend in this apartment.

This was a terrible experience that left me with a negative impression of Tromsø as a city. The dishwasher was filthy and gave off a horrible smell, and to make matters worse, it didn’t even work when I tried to clean it. The door was warped, the lights in the room didn’t work, the range hood and utensils were greasy, and the curtains were shockingly only half the size of the windows. It was all simply unbelievable. Even though the host promised to send someone to fix the dishwasher the next day, it didn’t change how much I disliked the place. I booked the room for two nights but could only endure one night before leaving. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Aurora Wave Residence! The apartment is not only warm and comfortable but also beautifully equipped with everything you might need. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the living room is perfectly cosy for relaxing after a day of exploring. The views are absolutely stunning, and on clear nights, you can even enjoy the northern lights from the window—a truly magical experience. 🌌✨ The location is excellent—just a 20-minute walk to the town centre and close to a bus stop with regular buses heading in various directions. The owner is exceptionally friendly and approachable, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this apartment for a memorable stay! 🌟

Amazing place with amazing views! It’s a quiet zone with two big supermarkets very close. 20 min walking to the beach and park which can be used during winter to hunting northern lights! The apartment is big enough for three. Furniture good and very clean! Also I he owner is very nice, sending you a message before the hosting starts to helping you whatever you could need related to.

Everything was perfect

The apartment is great🤗 cozy, warm and very clean. The host was very attentive of andy questions. The view was amazing! 100% Recommended 🤗

A very comfortable, clean and cozy apartment, only 20 minutes far from the centre and 3 minutes far from the nearest supermarket, On foot. Fredrik was really helpful and hospitable and we thank him for everything 🙏🏻
