Reviewed Apr 27, 2026A lovely cabin in a small complex of a dozen or so similar cabins. Our host was lovely and came looking for us when our GPS would not take us up a 100m dirt road . Waking up to silence at around 7am and then hearing birds starting to move around and chirp. Lots of Robins, Wagtails and tiny wren like birds living in the hedgerows around the cabins . Having morning coffee outside my cabin I was lucky enough to see a red squirel on two mornings. 2x1 or 1x2? The Cabin is 100m away from The forest that apparently has amazing treks . I was happy to do out and back 1 hour leisurly strolls. It is about a 25 minute walk into the Centre of town which has restaurants , markets and good pubs. I was there for the Kings Birthday weekend. Spring has not fully sprung but I am sure in the height of the summer season that the way the Cabin park is set out to cater for the walkers and the younger families it will be good. It is well managed.
I only had 4 days there.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Sehr schöne Unterkunft auf einem kleinen Campingplatz mit nur 24 Plätzen. Es sind meist Mobilheime und in der Mitte ist ein Kinderbereich. Wir wurden von der sehr netten Gastgeberin Evelien erwartet und Sie hat uns unsere Unterkunft gezeigt. Wir hatten sogar einen kleinen abschließbaren Schuppen für unsere E-Bikes, Top. Das Heim ist sehr nett eingerichtet, verfügt über eine Heizung und einen Ventilator. Alles ist gemütlich eingerichtet und Alles was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht ist vorhanden. Großes Bad mit gut funktionierender Dusche und bequemes Doppelbett. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Reviewed Jul 28, 2025Het huisje staat midden in de natuur, de compacte tuin met royale tafel en stoelen, is omgeven door bos. Je wordt 's morgens wakker door de vogels. Het huisje past perfect voor mensen die houden van basics. In alle eenvoud voldoet het perfect voor alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij vonden het fijn dat er een magnetron was. Prima douche ook. De gastvrouw had al wat spullen verzorgd, zoals toiletpapier, koffie en een pakje koekjes. De bedden waren opgemaakt. Hele vriendelijke ontvangst en plezierige afronding, waarbij nog even werd gevraagd of er nog wat ontbrak. Ook werd er niet moeilijk gedaan bij een ongelukje, waardoor beddengoed vlekken kreeg. Vanuit het huisje ben je meteen op weg voor fietstochten of wandelingen in de natuur en ook het dorp met supermarkten is nabij. Als kunstenaars vonden we hier ruim inspiratie en werkplekken, waar we zo zorgvuldig mogelijk mee omgingen. Alles bij elkaar een hele mooie ervaring.
Eigenlijk was alles helemaal goed. Mocht het huisje nog iets willen verbeteren, dan zou ik nog eens kijken naar de matrassen. Die kunnen net wat comfortabeler, maar voldeden wel, fijn beddengoed. Ook de wifi is niet altijd even sterk, maar in zo'n omgeving is de wifi ook niet meteen prioriteit. Hij werkte overigen voldoende om desgewenst nog lekker aan de slag te kunnen. Het huisje was vooral een hele fijne ervaring.

Reviewed Nov 17, 2024Such a lovely place, secluded yet close to everything. The house has everything you need, is very clean, and it feels really cosy. Fantastic location, with lots of walking and hiking paths just around the corner. The owner met us at check-in, she was so friendly and gave us lots of tips for little excursions. We'll definitely be back!

Reviewed Aug 13, 2023Easy access and excellent location, close to the city of Ermelo and other campings with restaurants and activities! The host was really friendly and helpful. The house had most facilities, including soaps, kitchen equipment, outdoor furniture, even board games and books. Perfect for a relaxing, peaceful vacation!
The pillows were somewhat uncomfortable, but this is the only negative we can think of.
