location is out off town nive and quite breakfast was very good

The setting was lovely while the host was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable. The heater had been switched on before we arrived!!

There was just a microwave and a kettle in the kitchen. Perhaps a bit more would be good.

Good location; working farm, experience the sheep herding and feeding at approximately 17:00. Big open gardens with seating and cushions if needed for your peaceful evening drink. Big rooms with heating comfortable beds with top quality bedding linen and electric blanket; large shower with good water pressure and top quality towels and gas geyser for plenty hot water; kitchenette with bar fridge and fresh milk for coffee and complimentary rusks; braai area with charcoal (bring your own charcoal) or gas braai with plates cuttlery etc. Excellent breakfast 👌

The breakfast was excellent, and the facility is the perfect half-way stop-over for us on our way to Kruger National Park. The grounds are well kept, stunning tranquil gardens, and beautiful bird life - a peaceful place to relax after a long journey!

Nothing could have been better! Our only regret was that we were unable to stay longer!!

The property is set 20km away from Ermelo, it was exceptionally close to a fantastic wedding venue called Perdekraal. The Drinkwater property is a working farm, the actual rooms are fantastic and exceptionally well furnished. The staff are amazing! Hands down one of the best stays we’ve had both locally in South Africa or overseas.

Lovely and quiet location, rooms neat and comfortable and friendly staff!

We were travelling between the Drakensberg and Kruger and this was an ideal venue for a half way stop. The rooms were amazing and far exceeded my expectations. Zelda was an absolute delight and could not have been more accommodating. We loved meeting the cat. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We absolutely loved our stay and will definately be back.

If I had to complain - and I have no reason to - it would be that we only stayed one night. Not enough time.

We had a full house breakfast. Started with fruit salad and yogurt. Both coffee and tea were available, including fruit juices. Three different types of bread for self making toast. Fried egg, tomato, bacon and pork sausage was served promptly. Many different preserves and jam next to the bread, also available. An outstanding breakfast. One is rarely afforded a breakfast of this quality.

Not too much to complain about, even the weather was good.

Very friendly staff and good location for an overnight stop. Mariaan is a most enthusiastic and welcoming host.

We always stay here on our way to and from the Kruger and always have a wonderful stay. This time while in the Kruger I hurt my foot and was struggling to walk. Without being asked the host allowed us to park right in front of our accommodation and offered us breakfast in the room so I would not have to limp around as much. Truly fantastic service and compassion

Wonderful hospitality

The guest house is in the Farm, a very quiet place and relaxed atmosphere, the breakfast was very nice - i enjoyed everything about this places. I will visit again whenever i think of going to Ermelo

Tranquil, exceptionally welcoming, comfortable, personal.

Our stay was fabulous. The room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were welcoming and did their best to make our stay exceptional. We will definitely stay there again on our way to the Kruger.

Close to the main road so easily accessible.

A little far out of the town so dinner was difficult although there is a microwave and crockery in the room. Unfortunately no washing up facility so the dirty dishes stood out during the night.

Wonderful people, nothing is ever a problem. Excellent breakfast , a multitude of choices. Good bird watching in the expansive, impressive garden. Close to the highway but totally quiet with impressive security. Beautifully ironed cotton linen and duvet. Everything is great without being ostentatious. Our second visit and we will certainly be back. Good stopover on the way to the Kruger.

Excellent superb full buffet and farm style breakfast. Superb accommodation and hosts, very comfortable during winter with electric blankets and heating, and no load-shedding worries as is adequate generator on site

Simply superb and excellent accommodation, location for overnight stop to Kruger Park from Durban, and the hosts Marianne and Petrus too, there was not anything to dislike at all, we can highly recommend Drinkwater

Perfect stop over on our trip from Kruger to the Drakensberge. The room was spotless and the bed was very cozy. The owner was so very lovely and the breakfast was really nice as well! Definitely recommend !
