Reviewed Sep 13, 2026I liked the location of my stay. It's pretty close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The room itself was pretty good. It has all the amenities I could ever want. The bed, while it might be very different for a Western audience, was still good. I got some sleep with it. The host even drove me to Dondaegu station when it was time for me to leave, so overall this was an excellent stay. Whenever I feel like visiting Daegu again, I'll be sure to book this place. 🤙🤙

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026部屋が広くて、トイレやシャワールームもきれいだった。共同で使えるキッチンや冷蔵庫があり、コンビニで買ってきた食品をその部屋で食べる事もできた。今回、陸上のマスターズ世界選手権に出場するために宿泊施設を探していて、リーゾナブルな値段で、大邱の中心街にある宿を探して、ここにした。大会参加の欧州の人とキッチンでお話もできて楽しかった。朝7時スタートのハーフマラソンに出るために、朝5時半には出かける必要があり、オーナに行き方を相談したら、車で会場まで無料で送ってくれた。土砂降りの雨だったので、大変助かった。また、レース終了後に10時過ぎにもどってきて、シャワーを浴びて11時15分にチェックアウトにしたが、通常のホテルで取られるレイトチェックアウト料金も取られず部屋が使え、しかも東大邱のバスターミナルまで車で送ってもらえた。個人経営で6部屋の小さな宿だけど、宿の御主人の親切には大変感謝しました。家族づれや2～3人のグループでお安く旅行をしたい方にはお勧めです。
道路から奥まった所にあり、最初場所がわかりにくかった。

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026It was in a traditional hanok house but the room was remodeled and had its own private bathroom and AC, it was quiet and cool, and I will definitely be back on my next visit to South Korea. The owner was very friendly and the offered us a ride to the train station and even stored our luggage after check out so we could explore the city comfortably.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Das HanokStay ist super süss und authethisch eingerichtet. Es ist alles nötige vorhanden, inkl. einer kleinen Küche, wo man sich etwas zu essen kochen könnte. Der Besitzer war echt super freundlich und hat mir alles auf Englisch erklärt. Ich wurde sogar kostenlos von Ihm zum Busterminal gefahren nach meinem Check-Out!
Die Lage ist zwar sehr zentral und nahe von vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Cafés, wirkt aber etwas heruntergekommen. Das HanokStay kann da natürlich nichts dafür, weshalb ich auch keine schlechte Bewertung geben möchte.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026The guesthouse was really cool - a modern-built version of a traditional Korean house. Guma, the owner, was on-site with his parents and was able to help us whenever needed. Location was good and walkable to several bus stops, so it's very easy to get around the city. Guma also gave us a lift to the bus station at the end of our trip!

Однако хозяева поменяли наш номер на более просторный семейный номер, где мы провели комфортные 3 дня. Еще в последний день выезд был в 11:00, но из-за работы нам пришлось выехать вечером, однако хозяева взяли с нас лишь оплату за отопление. Это были самые приветливые и отзывчивые хозяева из всех, что я встречала. Мы однозначно снова приедем в этот отель, если будем в этом городе снова. Спасибо им огромное! ❤️

Warm on a February night. -10 minute walk from the metro station. -Owner had been extremely kind and helpful in driving me to the Daegu International Airport on the day of a marathon event, navigating through special traffic arrangement. I would like to express my most sincere gratitude.
-Clothes rack outside the room instead of inside.

Reviewed Nov 11, 2025A very lovely Hanok style accommodation, with the owners next door so of anything is needed they are close by. They were especially friendly, and even drove us to the train station early morning. We felt really comfortable in the environment and room, the floor heating was perfect for a cozy night even though it’s getting colder outside.
The futons are not very thick, so if you are sensitive it light be a little hard to sleep on.

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025地理位置方便民宿也很乾淨！26~29吋的行李箱空間都沒問題！老闆老闆娘爺爺奶奶一家都很親切友善！老闆娘是台灣人，老闆是台灣女婿會說些中文，第二天比較晚回來跟朋友買了一些宵夜吃，奶奶還讓我們把宵夜帶到隔壁沒人住的韓屋去吃，覺得奶奶很可愛很親切～希望送您的台灣零食您喜歡！謝謝老闆回程載我跟朋友到大邱機場～（忘記拍照，但照片跟實際房間是長一樣的）
隔音不太好，不至於被吵醒，但如果對聲音敏感的人就不建議入住 淋浴間的蓮蓬頭的水會忽冷忽熱，而且廁所門檻沒有高度洗澡的時候水會流出去 希望浴室能有抽風功能，廁所窗戶能加上紗窗更好

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025L’hôtel est bien placé car il est à 5 minutes des rues animées du centre Il est tenu par un fils et ses parents qui sont très gentils et parlent anglais (le fils parfaitement) Attention c’est un logement traditionnel Coréen La chambre est donc petite et il n’y a pas de sommier, le lit se résume à un fin matelas et un duvet Malgré cela, j’ai bien dormi La salle de bain est très bien Il y a une cuisine commune avec une bouilloire, un micro-ondes, un grand frigidaire et une plaque de cuisson (avec vaisselle + casseroles) Je recommande, pour vivre cette expérience Conseil : Le métro le plus proche est : Jungangno (prendre la sortie 4)

Reviewed Jul 21, 2025迫不及待來評論了，看到大家的住宿經驗就決定要來住看看，民宿主超好～會提出退房是否需要機場接送，民宿的姨母雖然只會韓文，但會用翻譯溝通、很熱情會關心房客！ 民宿有飲水機跟冰箱還有微波爐可以使用 房間就像住在家裡一樣，睡起來很舒服 而且我很喜歡有單人房，還有獨立衛浴設備，臺灣很難找得到這種單人房間 房客的房間都離的很近，所以會有隔音問題，晚上不能太晚洗澡跟發出太大的聲音，淺眠的人需要考慮（要當作背包客棧的作息） 住宿地點靠近中央路地鐵站，走路大約7分鐘（在巷子裡面）第一次會找很久，剛好遇到附近熱心的居民幫我指路哈哈哈） 浴室的熱水要等一陣子才會有，熱水比較小

Reviewed Jun 16, 2025Staff was really friendly able to speak English and Mandarin Place was bare but really clean and spacious. Very fitting for big groups that can book the whole space. It was not listed, but they do provide amenities like shower gel and shampoo, toothpaste and brush, towels. I have slept on futons before, but they have even flatter type. As suggested by other patrons, stacking 2 together did help. Hope they can add furniture along the corridors for tea drinking. They have a big glass to see the yard, so it would be nice to be able to relax there, since the restaurant closes early.
I didn't like it was hard to find from the small alley, but it was more accessible from the other direction. Doors have glass, so sunlight would shine in, and you would understand that noise have to kept to minimal. Learnt that restaurants closes early around 8.30pm after COVID. So make plans for dinner.

Reviewed May 19, 2025we had an incredible stay here. the room was spacious, clean & comfortable - as we slept on the floor it truly felt like a real hanok experience. the owners, a family, were so kind to us, which made the stay even better. we even got a ride to the station at the day of our checkout. overall a huge recommendation!

It was very central to walk around Daegu and the owners were very polite and friendly. They even offered to take us to bus station in their car.

It is very close to the center and many attractions nearby.The room was clean and tidy and it was very nice to stay there.
Personally, it was a bit difficult for me to sleep on the floor and not in a bed (I'm not used to it), but I asked for another mattress and it was much better. But other than that, everything was just perfect!

The host speaks English really well and even took us to the train station. Will definitely stay here again if we're ever in Daegu. Thanks mate!

En suite was nice, good shower, and the location was in between the downtown area and some of the historic walks that the town advertises so well.
