Hello Canggu Homestay

An incredible stay and, without a doubt, one of the places I miss the most from Bali. My room was spacious and bright, and I really appreciated having a bathroom with a proper wall for privacy — something you definitely value in Bali! The location is also fantastic, close to both the beach and the centre. But what truly made my stay special was Wayan, who manages the property. His hospitality was exceptional. He was always attentive to his guests, making sure the room was cleaned when needed and taking care of anything I needed immediately, always with a big smile. The property also shares its space with a beautiful traditional Balinese family temple, which is absolutely charming and feels like something out of a movie.

Honestly, I would struggle to find anything significant to complain about. Perhaps the only downside is that the stay ended far too soon. 😊 I felt so welcomed and cared for by Wayan that I almost came to think of him as family. A truly lovely experience that I would recommend without hesitation.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The room and bathroom was spotless and the gardens around the property were beautiful and well maintained. It was also very centrally located, and was only a 5 minute walk to the main beach!

Location Garden

Not clean Smelling Dead bugs 7 nights of staying and just 1 time cleaning the room No stuff around

The owner Wayan was extremely helpful, accommodating and lovely. The room was perfect for what we needed- small and simple. The pool area was nice and sociable. The location was excellent, walking distance to many popular restaurants and clubs.

Location was a bit tricky to find on arrival at night as it is tucked in an alleyway, however the owner waited up for us. We were expecting an indoor shower but actually received an outdoor shower attached to our bathroom (just no roof), the hot water running out quite quickly. Although this was unexpected, the atmosphere of the outdoor shower ended up being pleasant.

Closer to beach and the owner wayan was friendly and polite

I mean there is nothing that i didn’t liked so it was comfortable and i would prefer everyone to stay here especially people from Pakistan 🇵🇰 if they are looking for a home away from home:-)

Nulla

Nothing is any trouble for the Host.

Good location, close to the beach.

Hard to find location tho. Down a hidden alleyway

Very clean and perfect location. It’s so well taken care of. The host, Wayan, was so welcoming and kind. Definitely recommend staying here!!! Wish we stayed longer

Gorgeous room and gardens, bed was comfy and supplied us with the basics. The bathroom was nicely done out. Location is great, just down a little track off one of the main streets in Canggu.

Didn’t know how to check out as no staff were around but I messaged on booking.com and sorted quickly 😊

Clean, friendly staff

Ótima localização e o pessoal do staff sensacional!!! E ainda tem uma piscina pra refrescar!!! Preço bom, próximo a tudo e de quebra ainda é super silencioso! Recomendo!!

The property was very spacious, we was put on one of the downstairs rooms so we had a balcony and a lovely garden view. The shower was warm and the bed was very large. The owner of the homestay, Wayan, was so nice and catered towards us very well, made us feel so at home in his property. We arrived at almost 2am on our first day, and he waited up for us and was happy to see us, giving us a full explanation of the property despite the time. During our 4 night stay, he offered us room cleaning services, extra towels toilet rolls etc and gave us his number so we could text him for whatever we needed. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It was so close to everything, and had a pool.

The host was really nice. We liked the location close to the beach and we also enjoyed the pool. We were able to refill our water bottles in the kitchen.

It was little bit difficult to find the property, but the locals working nearby gave us directions.

Excellent location. Very pretty and comfortable. The host was very nice.

We asked for a late check in and it was no problem, even though we arrived at 01:30 in the night. We could also do a late checkout. The location is perfect, very central but still quiet. Everything was clean and nice.

I stayed at properties in canguu that were $120 a night and $409 a night and this was my favourite for a solo traveller. The bed is okay, the tool very clean and has everything you need. The staffs are very good. Location is close to everything you need and it is far off the street enough that there’s not much street noise Lovely pool too. I really enjoyed my night and will come back. The value for money is right there

The furnitures are old but it is very clean and very good value for money.

The room was very good and clean, and the position was optimal! The owner was so lovely as well, always ready to help us and gave us such a warm welcome. Would definitely recommend it!!

Wayan is very friendly and helpful.

We spent 1 week there and we loved it. The location is perfect, close to the beach, shops and the Love Anchor market. The place is very cute. The gardens are incredible, the rooms spacious and ultra clean. We loved the outdoor bathroom.

Staff were friendly

Pool maintenance is lacking

Our host was so lovely! The property and grounds were very very clean, the staff were lovely, and the pool was lush! Very quiet which was lovely as there is generally lots of construction in Canggu. The outdoor shower was so much fun!!

the air con wasn’t very strong so it did mean the rooms were hot, especially if you didn’t keep the door to the bathroom shut at all times.

The location was amazing! Just 5-10 minutes away from the beach. The place is very clean and cozy. No noises around at night and very friendly staff.

Nothing

clean, cold aircon, spacious, a big desk to put your things or work, nice staff, great location near the beach and good cafes

outdoor shower floor tiles rough and slightly dangerous, water became very small halfway through my shower

The staff were super friendly and helpful My room was cleaned daily The area was nice and quiet and the pool area was lovely

Wayan our host was very helpful, he helped us with our luggage and arranged for us to rent a scooter from a local company. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean! The bed was comfy

The water pressure in the shower was not very good.

Great, top location! Walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping and the beach! The room and bathroom are a large size. There is a pool if you feel like relaxing close to home. Free water in the main shared kitchen. I was very happy with the cleanliness of my room. :)

There was a slight smell from the bathroom but not bad enough to not make me stay again and I just kept the door closed. The bathroom was clean and I was more than happy to use :)

Clean room and nice staff

There wasn’t blanket, just sheets.

The host was very nice and helpful. Room was clean, bed very comfy and decorations nice. Pool was nice and clean to swimm. Location was excellent, just few minutes walk from the beach. Lot of very good restaurants and massage places just on the main streat few steps away.

Kitchen area can improve. We could not sleep very much, because music from next doors was very loud all nights. Other guests of this place had party at night and we could hear everything inside our room that they were talking, even when our doors were closed. Wifi was ok for social media, but not great for video call.

Right in the middle of Canggu. Walking distance to the surf. Quiet side street. Owner Wayan was super friendly and helpful. Room was air-conditioned and big w outside shower. I would definitely stay here again when in Canggu

Beautiful peaceful room of Main Street of Batubolong, in a quiet haven next to a field. From the moment I walked in I felt made welcome and at home by Wayan the owner and his family. So nice to come back after a busy day of sightseeing /shopping. Pool and yard area so peaceful and calm, with lovely Ganesh statues. Wayan was happy to offer assistance with anything if needed. Very affordable and safe option for solo female traveller.

You can hear music at night from nearby bars, but it seems to stop around 10.30 or 11pm, so still good for sleeping.

The host was really nice and helpful. The location is good and in walking distance of a lot of restaurants and the beach. Perfect for one night in Canggu.

A bit tricky to find the property. The lock on the door of the room was a bit hard to use. At night you could hear the noise from the clubs.

Everything. The host, how clean it was, the location, everything was great.

Massive comfy room with big bathroom and outdoor shower which was lovely! Great pool and great staff Central location

Just knocked a point off for the Wi-Fi which wasn’t great and would’ve loved a fridge

lovely stay just off the main road but far enough away that there was no road noise! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and more!

The bathroom is partly outdoor, a gecko came into my room and stayed with me throughout my booking - it scurried out of my suitcase when I was packing

Price and value made this place a great bargain for its location and amenities. overall the room was clean, some stains on the wall that might jar some people but nothing crazy. def is tucked away so make sure to pay attention to signage when you get there. wayan was also always available and accommodating.

I don’t love outdoor showers but that’s just personal preference.

Great location, you can walk everywhere! It’s near the best restaurants and the overall vibe is amazing. We stayed there for 4 nights and were very impressed.

Everything was great but a comforter could be added on the bed and the wifi was not the best!

It was a quiet, clean and comfortable homestay. Wayan and staff were so kind and helpful. I loved the location as it was down an alley and away from the busy road. close to the beach, nice restaurants and cafes.

good location and value for money/cheap

room could’ve been cleaner and done with some updating or light renovations

It was a tiny paradise for a good price, I just love my room, quiet and perfect, the swimminpool was small but I was there for surfing. It is near of everything on walking distance. For the price in the area lovely. Personal great

good location.friendly and helpful staff

perfecte locatie en mooie schone kamer

Nice and comfortable room, we enjoyed our stay there. The pool was clean. The hotel is very close to the beach. The manager is a nice person, thanks for the hospitality.

Wifi is a bit slow

Great location and the owner is super helpful and accommodating.

Helpful and friendly staff, spacious room with great bathroom. Good location ( close to the beach and restaurants). I would definitely recommend this place.

very beautiful property very well maintained. The owner Wayan is very friendly, he offers excellent service and is always reachable if you need something. room is very clean and the location is excellent, very closed to the beach and all kind of restaurants. its quiet at night and the garden is beautiful. Hello Canggu is little jewel secluded in the otherwise so busy, crowded and loud canggu, you feel at home away from home.

close to Canggu beach

na

Really enjoyed our stay here! Room was very clean, we had a great view on the balcony and staff were fantastic! Would definitely stay here again!

Really lovely place to stay. Nice pool. Quiet tidy room. Great location close to beach and shops. Very lovely hosts made me feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Good location, few minute walk from the beach, and lots of restaurants close by. The room and bathroom was clean, a nice size and had all amenities needed.

Wi-Fi was a bit temperamental.

clean and tidy, very friendly staff who were happy to help

The owner and the staff were really friendly and helpful, they gave us tips for restaurants and markets and answered all our questions. The room is simple, but still good with everything you need and the outside shower is a great experience. The pool is nice and the location is close to the beach and a lot of restaurants and bars.

Cause of the location it is really noisy and you hear a lot of party people screaming during night and also loud music from the pubs/ clubs around. Think this is good to know, for those who don‘t want to party… The room is really simple, no lovely details and decoration…but still: it has everything you need and for the price it is unbeatable and totally good!

Super friendly owner, very clean, excellent location, and great water pressure.

We really liked the room with the nice outdoor shower and the homestay was really close to the beach and to restaurants. But the best was the nice staff that had good recommendations for restaurants and helped us with our travel to Gili Air. Thank you so much Wayan!

Very friendly hosts, great location, clean room with cute outdoor shower

Very gentle host ! Helpful and available. Nice room and close from the sea.

You can hear the Canggu nightlife but it's part of Canggu life.

great location and everything clean!! the room was very comfortable with all the key amenities. the staff was very welcoming!
