Sleepy Heaven Negombo

Wonderful couple renting out their rooms in their home. Great for a short and affordable stop over. Negombo isn't something to write home about - the beach is really full of trash and plastic being washed in by the sea. But if you are looking for a homely short and affordable overnight stay, I'd recommend it. The owner was able to exchange money and arrange transport. Very friendly and helpful couple.

Really lovely and helpful couple who own this property. As we arrived the owner showed us a shortcut to the beach and we had a really lovely conversation. A great last stop for our trip. They even let us leave our bags there for the day after checkout.

Privacy kan iets beter. Je hebt een eigen kamer en badkamer, maar om van de ene naar de andere te gaan is er enkel een gordijn als scheiding.

We had problems with our shower not working, then them coming to fix it and then not being able to. then they could but made us stay in as they didn’t have a spare key, was a faf but eventually was sorted! DOES NOT HAVE WIFI

The hosts are super nice, helpful and welcoming, we had a nice little chat. Everything was super clean, super comfy bed and good location for arriving in Sri Lanka.

Other accommodations offer water to fill up your own water bottle. That would be a super plus! But nothing to complain about :)

The guest house was in a great location, very clean and had a homely feel to it. The hosts were very welcoming and kind and prepared me a fantastic Sri Lankan meal for dinner. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location which was perfect to relax after a flight.

La camera grande, pulita, i proprietari sono stati molto carini e disponibili ci hanno preparato una buonissima cena tipica. Ci ha procurato un driver che ci venisse a prendere in aeroporto e lo stesso driver il giorno dopo ci ha portato a Sigirya, e sono stati gentili perché ci hanno fatto fare una fermata a Dambulla lungo la strada per vedere il tempio. Rapporto qualità prezzo ok Cena prezzo super ok L aria condizionata è a pagamento, e costa quasi quanto la notte, quindi se non fa troppo caldo non conviene. Dopo tutti i driver che abbiamo preso durante questo viaggio forse questo è stato leggermente più caro rispetto agli altri ma era la nostra prima notte e non avevamo idea dei prezzi, ma è andata bene così. La posizione è buona E lo consiglio assolutamente 😃

El baño estaba fuera de la habitación, hacía mucho mucho calor a pesar de los ventiladores y el fresquito de la calle, y las enormes ventanas no tenían mosquiteras. No dormimos bien.

Está en un sitio muy tranquilo, pero a unos 15 min andando de la playa y el “centro”. El personal, aunque nos cruzamos muy poco, fue muy amable. El precio es muy asequible!

¡Hace muchísimo calor en las habitaciones! Pedimos una solo con ventilador y no era para nada suficiente. Pedidla con aire acondicionado.

An excellent homestay, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great quiet location. Hosts were fantastic; organised great lagoon and city tour for me as well as a late night airport pick up. Breakfast was delicious, definitely worth having.

Super friendly and kind host family,my girlfriend hurt herself pretty bad and they took care of her with their whole heart. Then helped us with the dinner. We only stayed their for couples hours as our flight was in the night but their kindness really left a mark on us.

I had a wonderful stay at Sleepy Heaven Negombo! The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The prices were very affordable, making it a great choice for budget travelers. The rooms were very clean, and I was highly satisfied with the overall experience. The food was delicious—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent! The location is also perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and within 5 to 15 minutes of restaurants, hospitals, the railway station, bus station, town, grocery shops, and supermarkets. I highly recommend this place! Sachin, the owner, is very kind and helpful, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I had a fantastic stay at Sleepy Heaven Negombo! Sachin is a great owner who ensures everything runs smoothly. The breakfast was the best I had during my trip, and the room was exactly as shown in the photos—clean, comfortable, and with a super bed for a restful sleep. The location is perfect, and Sachin even arranged a great driver for my tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Negombo!

Very accomodating staff, friendly and ready to help with any request. Room was excellent , immaculatly clean, mattress comfortable,place quiet. Would recoment to anyone to stay. Offered and orgonised a transfer to the airport which turned up on time with a very helpful and pleasent driver. Location is not far from beach or local shops and restaurants.

Little sugestion to create some sort of a sign outside the building that would show customers appon arrival that they are in the right place.

External bathroom. I expected bathroom in the room. That was not mentioned in description. Super noisy at night and early morning: neighbors dogs were barking in 20 meters from the window. No hot water. Like "You paid for economy room, so everything is to be paid extra: AC, hot water, etc". But it was called "Deluxe room" in description, not "budget" or "economy". Power sockets are not suitable for EU plugs. Adapter provided was dangerous to use.

We spent two nights here at the end of our Sri Lankan holiday. The Hosts were welcoming and always available for any need. The private room upstairs was spacious and had all the comforts. Bathroom was outside the room but private. We also could access the balcony and hang our clothes. Our privacy was respected at all times. The neighbourhood was quiet and beach is only 10-15min walking. Strongly recommended.

Sachin and his wife are wonderful people. We felt completely at home, had plenty of interesting conversations, and were captivated by the hosts’ openness. The room with a bathroom is clean and well-maintained, and the location is excellent, being very close to the beach. If you’re planning to rest for a while after your flight, this is the perfect place.

The hosts are an awesome young couple, their hospitality is on the highest level! They helped me out with information and directions. The place is super clean and comfortable. I also had a breakfast with fresh fruit and traditional sri lankan cuisine. Highly recommended!!
